  1. 20 pounds each?? thats pretty heavy ... if u want to send it via postal ... www.usps.com will be ur cheapest option ... as i've shipped heaps of stuff via that and found it to be quite good ... but yeah ... will be pretty expensive ... you're lookin at about at least 100 bucks a rim i think.
  2. yeah it sounds much different when running 12psi from 10 psi ... and sounds even better when running higher boost ... i was so surprised how different it sounds ... just a bigger sucking sound from the pod a ... i love it ... too bad i can't run it like that for a long time

  8. that maybe cause the gauge isn't connected up to the boost line ... thats what i did when i put in my aftermarket boost gauge, i was too lazy to fit in the t peice and left it not connected so it reads 0 all the time. i think that factory gauges are ok ... but aren't fast and accurate enough for some applications thats all ... eg ... theres definitely a big difference in response time with the stock boost gauge ... however is max readin is ok ...

  11. whats the diff between the 2?? .. i use the pink stuff as i sometimes was my car alot ... i think its great stuff ... when would i want to wax it?? cause after i use that pink stuff the cars pretty shiny ... i guess the paint is still not too bad

  19. i think if ur plan is under 200rwkw or thereabouts ... its good and cheap ... anything higher than look for a powerfc ...
  20. with all the customising u have to do ... why not just buy a bolt on hks 2530 or whatever ... bolt straight on ... instant easy ... more power

  23. well i was just out for a spin ... ... yeah i think i need new tyres ... i'm definitely spinning the wheels and going sideways sometimes LOL ... anyways i was just putting it +1 or so and then -2 flat from 3000 rpm onwards ... i dont' know if it did much ... feels sorta the same LOL still spinning the wheels sometimes ... i should go get insurance ... .. it looks like we need to get an expert onto here

Hi all, I installed a SAFC on the weekend, its all working well and good, however i haven't set any corrections or anything, its still just "initialised", all i have done is configured it to work and to display information. now, the problem I have is simply that ... well i dont' know what to do ... how do i know what corrections i have to put in?? i dont' have one of them a/f detector things which costs like 1000 bucks ... i wanna give tuning it myself a go, i'm not too worried about engine screwing up as well, i'm running 10 psi with stock turbo and cooler, and i think its only putting out about 150 rwkw or there abouts in an auto ... my mods are bleeder at about 0.75bar (~10psi, spikes a bit on a cold night), full exhaust and pod. from what i've seen people post up, it seems people add correction at the very low revs and once on boost the correction is "minused", why do this?? also, will the stock ecu compensate for the corrections by retarding the ignition timing?? which then just makes the whole idea useless?? i've seen powergains as little as about 10rwkw to something like 50rwkw, i'll be happy with about 15rwkw, i know my car can easily do that as i accidentally boosted the car too high on the weekend and the power was ridiculous, i was wheel spinning in first LOL ... too scary for me ... so i put it down ... It would be nice if people could post up their settings and mods too thanks
  25. yeah thats true ... the only way to get a 300rwkw xr6 turbo is if its been modded .. and as far as i know ... it voids the warranty etc ... u can only get a fpv xr8 ... i've had a run with one in my totally stock 33 ... needless to say i lost ... but i want another run with some mods now ... i think it will be much closer
