  1. It hasn't been out long so you will probably struggle to find people that have one but i believe they are the same design as the Type S but with a bigger piston etc inside and i'm fairly sure you can still make it plumback.
  2. I used to have one on my 200sx, they are a very good unit. It was plumback and it made a hell of a noise but it was all turbo chatter rather than a normal BOV sound but if you are buying a BOV just for the sound it makes you are buying it for the wrong reason. I know you can get them new from Advan Performance for around $350 but i think they have been superseeded by the new RS so there may not be any of the old ones left.
  3. I have been told this is the formula for calculating the flow rate of injectors. cc of injector divided by 5 = max hp for each injector then multiply by the number of injectors to get your max hp at 100% duty cycle. EG. 440cc divide by 5 = 88hp each 88 multiplied by 6 = 528hp @ 100% duty cycle remembering that that would be at the engine and you wouldn't want to run them at 100%.
  4. It would make it linked solidly through the rear subframe yes. Too hard for traction no, my car puts the power to the ground surprisingly well to be honest it would be the best non power adding mod i've made to the car.
  5. I personally would not waste my time with pineapples. I have tried them, nothing special. I would recommend getting rid of your stock cradle bushes in favour of some solid CNC machined alloy ones, makes the rear end hard as a rock, doesn't move around at all. It's a little more noisy in the car but barely noticable.
  6. Only the 34's were BB If the person selling them is still convinced they are BB take the turbos down to GCG and ask them to look over them and give you an independant answer. They normally don't charge you anything to give them a quick once over.
  7. I have a used Bosch 910 in good cond for $150
  8. Give SSS in Sydney a call they have a whole box of plugs like that lying around. I found 2 GTR AFM plugs in there in less than 5 mins SSS Automotive Imports Fctry 5/ 120 Gilba Rd Girraween 2145 (02) 9896 6111
  9. I am running an 044 with 700cc injectors and Sard reg with the stock fuel rail no problems. Don't know about how it would go without the reg though.
  10. It does definatly come down to the area under the curve but that doesn't mean you can't have a relativley high peak power with good mid range etc too.
  11. I would have to reccomend Advan Performance in Silverwater, they are the only one's who i trust with my car and they have made some very good and reliable power out of GTR's eg. one particular R32 GTR running a T78 426kw atw they only have a rwd dyno but they pull the front shaft on GTR's for tuning. they know GTR's inside out
  12. I don't think so, i think some have the .48 with steel wheels etc. For the part number mentioned above the comp cover is .6
  13. It would be a waste of time due to the cost and time involved in making an adapter as they do not bolt staright up just as the RB25 box does not bolt up to the SR as it also needs an adapter. It wouldn't last long behind a RB26 anyway. Just use a RB25 5 speed.
  14. BNR34 (N1) : 14411-AA403 have the .64 ex housing
  15. If you have been defected for your exhaust then obviously they have to test it but if you just need a blue slip for rego i don't think they do. They didn't ckeck mine and i got one at the end of last year.
  16. Yeah, as said above. I don't know why you would need to have your exhaust tested when getting a blue slip. I got one less than a year ago and they didn't say anything about the exhaust?
  17. I'm after a pair of R32 GTR rear hubs in Sydney. If anyone has some or can point me in the right direction. Thanks
  18. From what i understand the new Type RS is the Type R internals in a smaller BOV so It's up to the power you making. I'd say up to around 250rwkw or so stick with the RS if you looking up towards 300+ go the Type R.
  19. I am currently running a Link Plus in my car and i am very happy with it. I have also had a Power FC and if i had to choose between the two i would choose the Link Plus anyday of the week. I previously had too many problems with AFM's etc and decided to change to Link and haven't looked back the only ECU i would replace it with would be an Autronic or Motec but obviously they are much more expensive.
  20. I have removed the ABS from my car completely and replaced the lines, I've had no issues at all.
  21. Big Congrtas to the owner for that time. That car was an animal. It would had to have been the most impressive car out there that night to watch run, very impressive, espacailly the top end charge
  22. You have R32 N1's based on that part number BNR32: 14411-06U00 (Nismo) BCNR33: 14411-24U10 (N1) BNR34: 14411-AA401 (N1)
  23. They will either order it for you or they will have it in stock. I got mine through the workshop i use who noramlly have one sitting in their display cabinet. Here is a better pic of the strip on a R34
  24. If you mean the black strip in the centre of the spark plug cover that says GTR etc that is a standard R34 piece you can get from your local Nissan dealer for about $120. If your talking about the Genisis etc plates then i don't think you will be able to buy them i think they only come with the complete engines.
  25. If that is your part number you have the exact same turbos as me so there is no reason you won't make power. They are great turbos I am also running 700cc injectors and have no problems in getting a good tune and i'm not running a power fc either so providing you have a good tuner i don't know why you would have any problems with that. Provided you have a good tune and you maintain the engine properly there is no reason why standard internals wouldn't last at these kinds of power levels. It's all in how you look after you engine and the condition it is currently in.
