i think people missed the point of this car. Marty & Moog's season finale builds are always built with a certain amount of piss-taking (literally Moog's case) and satire. Just look at the TRD Laser and their Civic build. In this case, the satire is less obvious because this is the fashion nowadays. But you can see the guys aren't taking this thing too seriously. Look at Moog constantly saying this is "what the kids are doing" and "the internet told me to" throughout the episode.
