  1. exactly. should you decide to "de-turbo" a turbo, it'll still be registered as a turbo, so when you get pulled over and they run your car, the policeman will think its a turbo http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/results.aspx?Ns=pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_PriceSort_Decimal|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&SearchAction=N&Qpb=true&sid=12B402374F83&keywords=&Nne=15&N=1216%201247%201252%201282%204294963593%204294963846%204294933160%204294950381 took less than a minute. theres (ironically) 33 R33 gts's there
  2. i'd certainly hope not. lol but in all seriousness, nos buttons on the steering wheel would be too easily activated and should you accidently use it... well that could lead to some nasty schtuff Im guessing its the horn
  3. OHMIGOD He's back! was beginning to think you'd left us.
  4. looking forward immensely.
  5. they look quite like volk te37 g2's. those wheels look like they might be missing a centre cap which would throw alot of initial guesses off EDIT: there def not g2's
  6. Matt, as much as i love your gtr, if you decide to really sell it. Get a Z tune.
  7. +1 hahaha you know someones doing something amazing if your more excited about them receiving parts than you are. it's been said before matt but this is the perfect rendition of what a GTR could/should and can be.
  8. im not sure about powerplay. apparently they've gone AWOL on some customers and packed up and left. people pay for parts. parts dont arrive. powerplay phones disconnected. no reply to e-mails. seems a bit sus http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/358330-power-play-imports/page__pid__5729235#entry5729235
  9. are you saying they dont make this kit anymore? with the gtr nose piece. EDIT: just reread prev posts. disappointed they dont make this kit anymore...
  10. +1 its really good work but it should be blasphemous on some sort of level
  11. yep apple's being doing that for years with the iphone etc. In regards to the gtr...... one day..... one day i will own one
  12. oooh 458
  13. 2nd video pause at 3:30 also, i havnt seen the "Thriller" dvd but from what i can see from that video, Clarkson seems to be looking for cars that are hard to drive and excite you.
  14. as i said, you WILL get pulled over. but if your not doing anything wrong (like driving a manual on an auto licence) you probably wont get defected. not all cops slap on canaries with no proof.
  15. i think i miswrote my thoughts. yes you will get pulled over because as i said i think most cops just see 4 round tail lights and a p-plate. but if your not doing anything wrong they cant really hold anything against you. worst case scenario, they slap your car with a canary of which they need no proof, but what are the chances of that happening in an OEM naturally aspirated skyline.
  16. my condolences go out to the family involved. but really how can the "states top cop" blatantly dismiss the need for legal drag strips and then says "theres some evidence it may make the problem worse"... care to elaborate mister top cop?
  17. it wont make a difference. i think alot of police just see 4 round tail lights and a p-plate. a while ago i saw a post on a forum (may have been this one) in which police were known to "browse" through and he said the 3 things they think when they see a skyline is: 1. driver is unlicenced or not legally permitted to be driving the vehicle (if he's a P-plater driving a turbo or manual on auto licence in your case) 2. driver is under the influence of alcohol or illicit substances 3. car is unroadworthy or modified illegally. im paraphrasing and he might've been exagerating but if i were you id just be good cause in the end, if your not doing anything wrong, youve got nothing to worry about.
  18. never mind found some info. you might need to register to see the thread or just go to the antilag homepage and scroll down the recent news stuff till you get to "as seen on channel 7" http://www.antilag.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39944\
  19. care to shed some light? im curious now. i thought WA was alot more lenient than VIC
  20. super glad its back. cant wait for updates
  21. with audi headlights... i cant say im a fan, not really a fan of many veilside body kits apart from the fortune NSX and their Murcielago and actual bentley
  22. a question for the legal buffs. 1) is there anything legally preventing me from purchasing the cheapest roadworthy car possible and painting it with glow in the dark paint? 2) in the future when i am a homeowner, is there anything legally preventing me from painting my house with glow in the dark paint?
