Patch has just come out for xbox if any guys are still having problems getting online

When stealing the driller, you can go around the back in the alley. There's another entrance there with a guard, but next to the lot theres a ladder that you can get on the roof. Just pick off the guards one by one. If the popo come, just hide on the roof until they're gone. Not sure if it gets the 'stealh' challenge though

Xbox people: are things a little more stable now? I still haven't been able to get past the damn tutorial. Finished the race yesterday then got booted Tried a few times today, haven't been able to get in yet

Yeah, it's a 458 challenge. Factory built track car i think, no VIN numbers or anything. Built to GT3 touring car spec. Showed up briefly to make use of the empty track while everyone was called in to lunch. Provided a very nice soundtrack

I actually made it in for like 10 minutes on launch night, finished the first race. Got to free roam. Exited the session because randoms kept killing me. Go back in solo mode > corrupt character >haven't been able to get past "waiting for players" or "launching session" of the first race since.

giving it a go now again. no success last night

how do you go to solo mode? I get a cloud server unavailable, is solo mode the 'continue without saving option'?

no idea, you're not like in a mission or something. do random encounters hide the mission icons? maybe try killing yourself and see if it resets. It's like that for all characters though(?), might be a glitch EDIT: quick google, this came up GTA V – Can’t Trigger the Last Part of the Merryweather HeistIn the Merryweather Heist mission, you may not trigger the final part of the Port of LS Heist. This part may be lock; you must complete other missions as other characters such as The Long Stretch, Hood Safari, and the third FIB mission. To complete the third FIB mission, you need to receive a phone call while playing as Trevor or Michael. Switch to those characters and make sure your in-game phone is on.

do you need to do all the flight missions? don't suppose you have an earlier save?

I must give a hat-tip to whoever did the aftermarket parts for the game. (My dorifuto Futo) I love the shakotan exhaust, the subway ring hanging off the bumper in true bozo fashion. Found a few nods to the automotive scene in the game. The set of wheels that look like SSR SP1's are called 'Ruff Welds'. Ruff Weld -> Rough World -> Rauh Welt Begriff Reference? Most of the wheels look like existing wheels, Te37v's (above), ce28's, Regamasters (which have 'master' in the in-game name) And the Elegy RH8 (GTA's GTR clone): i like to think is a reference to Record Holder 9 [RH-9]. A title given to select GTR's across the world that are road registered and able to run a 9 second pass (on street legal tyres, with 4wd engaged and with no parachute or wheelie bar) amongst a few other guidelines.

yes you can save the assassination missions till after the last heist (except for the first one where Franklin gets the nice house)

yar the drill (loud) method yields the best take. Should be 30 odd mil for each character. Am I right in saying that it's like 20 odd mil for the sneaky way?

both methods are a bust. I think in all heists, if you pick the same crew for both methods, the result/payout is the same regardless of which of the two ways you go about it. Except for the final heist. One of the methods results in significantly more cash moneys

BAWSAQ is the online one but certain stocks affected by in game actions (a la Lester's missions) are affected as such temporarily. Sped through the main missions on my second run. Finished yesterday. Did all of Lester's assassinations this evening. Had about 32mil on each character after final heist. Played the stocks as people have said: cpd put up the most concise guide so follow that. Made Franklin a billionaire (he's my main guy, he owns all the properties), got a bit Lazy with Michael, only did the pre-mission investments for immediate cash in, more than enough for all his cinemas. and couldn't give a flying f**k about Trevor.

Some stock tips i got from GtaForums. Am doing another playthrough, and like others am saving the assassination missions til after 'the big job'. There's also a random event on the freeway on the south/west corner of the map as you go up the coast. His car's broken down and asks for a lift to the airport. If you get him there in time, he'll tell you to invest heavily in 'Tinkle'. Doing so will result in about a 30% return. Also does anyone know where the guy with the stolen bike is? I'm after his 100k

i don't think so at all, just started a second playthough! And yeah, just wait till online drops! I went with C for the end. Strongly considered option A. I lol'd at the little psych profile the game gives you at the end.

Beat the main story today...what a game! Am promptly planning to do another playthrough, just gonna make a few different choices here and there and want to see if I can rack up the 150mil to buy the golf club
