What Is This Solenoid/sensor ?
weapon_unknown replied to weapon_unknown's topic in General Maintenance
thanks for your help guys, i ended up ordering the part from nissan genuine $190 it'll take 2-3 weeks they say, bit of a rip off but what can you do. the part number is 14930 - aa0a ... they call it a 'valve control' ... turned into a very expensive spark plug change -
Hi all, So this weekend i gathered the courage to change my spark plugs, in the process of removing a million things I broke a nipple off a solenoid to which a vacuum hose is connected that leads into the some kind of catch can in the front of the car next to the radiator. ...The confusing thing is that when i took out the piece of the broken nipple stuck in the vacuum hose it was completely sealed/blocked. So in essence it seems like there is no need for that piece vacumm hose. a bit confusing to say the least, not sure if i should buy a new one a or just seal up the solenoid and remove the vacuum hose. HELP! (please) (anyone is selling one of these, is that the part number on the solenoid?) the engine is a rb25de neo -eddy
