  1. "Egocentricity the folly of the young" Put yourself in the insurance companies place, if ti was your business and you had to take the risk would you insure someone with that record? LOL your kidding right 3 times in 5 years of course you won't get insurance with that record, and especially not on a low volume performance import .
  2. Sorry didn't open the pics dur should have done that first was in a hurry. Sounds good.
  3. The rear calipers have the solid brake lines and the flexible rubber ones ? If so I'll give you $150 posted. There are a couple of pairs cheaper on ebay atm, but with yours I'll know what I'm getting.
  4. Far as I know, R33,R32, (tturbos) and all Z32s etc all have the same rear brake setup, except of course where Brembos apply.
  5. Scott sent you a txt today re the rear rotors etc. Just need your bank details to do a transfer.
  6. I think this thread has got away fro the issue Jon wanted to discuss. The main point of the question was to do with getting the R32 4 pots on and the rotrs and drum handbake setup and would it fit, not the benefits or otherwise of it which is his business. I've seen pics of an R32 backing plate bolted up to late DR30 style trailing arms. The backing plate appeared to bolt straight up to the mounting holes of the original backing plate. Also the 5 stud stub axles from a Z31 had been slotted in, (not that you asked about a 5 stud conversion). Therefore the stub axles from the HR31 and the backing plate and drum brakes from either HR31 or R32 etc should work. So just use your DR30 arms and swap over the backing plate and drum brake, and if you wnat to stay 4 stud you may have to get some hub centric spacers machined up to slip over the hub to space the rotor out 10mm as the R32.HR31 rotors are 10mm thicker than the solid DR30 ones. A mate is doing this this on his trailing on an IRS Gazelle.

  14. These people should certainly have a coupe door if you want one bad. They advertise on ozdat as currently wrecking R31 GTS coupes. They are in Adelaide so you would have to pay freight, but hey if you really need one. [email protected]
  15. I don't know if you've tried the R31 forum, if not I think you'd have a better chance there: www.r31skyline.com Also try A1 nissan wrecking at Salisbury, prices are a bit rich but they are about the only wreckers around the place I know of that still wreck R31 imports. I was there the other day and they had an import R31 in, pretty sure it was a 4 door pillarless though. But they may have a door there from a 2 door they wrecked before.

  17. I'm after 2 x R32 GTR 8" rims (prefer Qld but will consider other areas) 0414508635
  18. Got standard turbo wheels?
  19. You definitely need the output flanges with the diff as non lsd output flanges definitely won't work with VLSD. You'll also need new CV shafts, to suit the R200 diff, as yours will be R180 style CV's which are a bit longer. You need to get ones that match the VLSD output shaft flanges., e.g. if you get a diff with 5 bolt flanges you will need to get matching 5 bolt style CV's. Gerry
