ah ok ..... are you the guy who posted on their forums about it? Last I heard an Aussie guy (maybe you?) tried it on the 350GT and the gauges wouldn't work. I emailed Blazt and asked if they could let me know if they figured the firmware for it out, but they never got back to me. Yeah video would be awesome.

yeah I know Pete, but I want to have brekky with the gang as well

^^^ yep exactly. A tiny bit of know how and a laptop and you can clock them back. Doesn't it seem bizarre to everyone that if you go on any of the importers auction lists (I have access to a few), that 2003 V35s with 25,000(ish)km are VERY rare, yet these guys have up to 10 in stock at any given time? And on the rare occasion they come up in Japan people pay a serious premium for them - so they couldn't possibly sell them here for $25k-$30k. They even offered me a silver V35 with those sort of km for $22k. Suuuuuure, so they bought it in Japan for 1M+ Yen, brought it here, complied it and are willing to sell it at a loss? Methinks not. For example, the black V35 I had professionally checked had seriously lipped front rotors. Simply couldn't happen on a 25,000km car. There were heaps of other giveaways too. They wanted me to list them so presumably they could change them over to fool the next sucker. When I confronted them about the km not being genuine they actually agreed and tried to put me onto another one which supposedly really did have correct km. Yeah right. They did refund my deposit though, so that was good.

yep I am also in for breakfast Sunday

yeah Dan, not just any RB30, but OS Giken RB30 .... just the blocks alone are $30k .... and he has bought many of them .... still has a brand new one sitting under his workbench under a sheet if I remember correctly ....

Ah that was last weekend? Bugger. Yeah in a months time would have been awesome. Mind you, I am going to do my audio myself, and really only need the cruise done - which I can get my guy to do with your parts. Can you get the TV tuners that Chook did in the group buy? Am thinking about chucking one of them in the boot and running my laptop off a video in off that. Do you still have a silver double din trim piece for me? I will probably get the a/c controller, trim piece, TV tuner and cruise off you in around a months time .... the wife is still recovering from me buying a $32k V35 instead of the $18k V35 sedan I was originally going to buy - it has mucked up my mod spending somewhat for a short period until she gets over it. I might just have to buy her a new car to help her get over it yet

sorry Matty didn't see you mate .... you must have been hiding well

So, can the guys who have sorted all this out post up guides/pics (or links to them if I missed them)? And Chris, how is your solution coming? I am keen to buy your finished product. Has anyone got an ODBII cable to 100% work? A guy tried the Blazt cable in his 350Gt and the error codes etc worked, but the gauges would not work - and that is the thing I primarily want it for - for my pop-up screen to look like an R35GTR screen. Hey Chris can you please email me too - my main HDD died and I lost the invoice and info you emailed me. Can you please resend it? I have put a deposit down on a car finally (after 4 false starts) - should get it in the next week or so out of Sydney.

Sorry to tell you ezy03 but these guys are famous for winding back/changing odos on their cars - I had an independent mechanic go have a look at a black one they have there last Friday with supposedly 27,000km on it and he said it had 80,000-100,000km on it every day of the week according to the 100 or so ways you can tell the real age of a car. Go have your car checked by someone reputable (StateRoads are famous for having dealers paying them off not to notice things), and you will find you did not get what you paid for. But they really are cheap - that is a bonus I guess.

ffs half of you whinge there are too many stickies, now you are whinging when I get rid of some .... no pleasing some people

So who are the softc0cks who said they would come to Loxton and are now pulling out? .... damn I hate how people always say they will come, then pull out .... why even bother saying you are coming if you are not going to go through with it? .... now it makes it much more expensive for each that are bothering coming to cover the associated hire costs .... On that note Ben, I have a shelter that we used at Kadina - it is not flash, but is FREE. Happily hosted about 20 of us crammed in under it when it rained
-
Welcome to SAU Tom, but as stated, please contact Prank for sponsorship info if you want to further advertise your business on here .... Oh, and in your compliance 'coming soon' section it lists "V36 Slyline" .... is that a REALLY Sly Skyline?

Taking the wife and 2 year old today .... should be fun blowing his little mind with all the animals and his first real kiddy rides - I actually can't wait.

How wide are your rims, and how much did they stretch (and why didn't you like it?). Pics of them fitted on your rims? -
Yep same. I assume we are going to have to put in some $$ toward some form of decorating around the cars (like chequered flag runners or something?) .... so a 'participation fee' from SAU:SA is not unreasonable at all for everyone to be able to chill out and relax, and make our display kick-ass. Are you still up typing reports like me Pete?

Nightcrawler replied to spikey's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...RK%3AMEWAX%3AIT It is super cheap dodgy Chinese crap, but that is all I need for my V35, since I am putting an Apexi exhaust control valve on as well so I can control the volume level. Have an ECV on my R34 now and absolutely love it! -
gehen Sie und ficken dein Oma's wellensittich ganz schnell .... 6 years of German study at high school and 20/20 in year 12 and 13, and that is all I can remember .... naturlich!

Yeah I agree Thorpie .... but it's all good - I have found the same item on US Ebay and can get it shipped for about the same price as he would be able to ship it to me. And the one I buy might not have the twisted tips that need fixing .... -
Really? You can do the 12 gauge screen and it shows all the values (speed, rpm, water temp etc)? What brand cable have you got and where did you get it?
