  1. ^^^^ ROFL too true about Twenty20 - it is pure action! Love it.
  2. This should really have gone in the 'wanted to buy' thread ... thread closed.
  3. The end of the cricket was bloody awesome - apart from the fact that we lost. Very exciting game though - never thought we would post such a low total either Not liking the cricket is unAustralian and should be against the law. Fair enough test cricket can be a bit slow at times (that what all the beer drinking is for), but the one dayers are all action.
  4. Yeah that is Luke (and Flick)'s car Son - that's where I disappeared to - had to go steal some fries off them at Hungry Jacks and have a chat. Spewing I had to go out to dinner rather than cruise - but at least I came down to say Hi to some peeps at the meet-point
  5. please use the search function in future and not start a needless thread. Thread closed
  6. I just got home - Pendulum actually did this cover today at BDO. Damn they were awesome! Prodigy were their usual unbelievable selves too .... Huge day and dang it was hot, but the eye candy and the music was just awesome!
  7. Well apart from a little power spike around 8:30pm tonight we have had rock solid power here Maybe you live in a bad area Craig?
  8. Well I just got home from work (I purposely organised an early start and finish) and have poured myself a large double Johnny Black and Coke full of ice and have plopped myself in front of the TV in 23 degree comfort for the afternoon .... ah the life
  9. ^^ then a lift up in the Merc doesn't help me .... my quota of abandoning the missus and a 15 month old toddler for the night has been filled for most of the year already. Yeah, and from the back of my house where I saw the flashes I could not see a cloud in sight.
  10. ^^^ I must admit I did love living on the 7th level of an inner city apartment building in the centre of Darwin for nearly a year around 2000 - sitting out on the balcony watching the storms roll in over the Timor Sea .... absolutely awesome light shows! Then when the storm got closer running inside and battening down the 'hatches' (louvre windows) as the rain hit the windows at the back of the balcony half way up.
  11. I thought you were staying up there ....
  12. yeah sorry Ben - I got your SMS but haven't had time to catch up with David, as I am not going to drive over and back in one day on my own. I am a maybe at this stage - got a few things on, but am keen as to come. Will let you know asap.
  13. ^^^ I can't agree with that enough. The amount of people I meet all day whingeing about the weather - this sort of weather is what Adelaide is all about. So many people love winter - it makes me sick - give me 45 over 14 and raining any day of the year! I am absolutely loving the current hot spell! And no, before anyone asks, I wasn't in an a/c office at all today - I was out in the heat and in my black[/] Skyline (which did struggle a little bit with the heat when I was sitting around idling for 10 minutes at a time). The twin thermos do a great job, but I must admit were lacking a bit today. Nothing a quick squirt of water on the radiator didn't fix every now and then (I keep around 20l of water in the boot for such occasions). Bring on more hot weather!!!!!
  14. Yep, can't wait! Hot means barely clothed chickies and tons of water sprayers and tents .... was pretty darn hot last year too - but nowhere as hot as it will be on Friday! I still can't wait .... Prodigy, Living End, Sneaky Sound System, The Ting Tings, Pendulum, Pee Wee Ferris, Lupe Fiasco, Quan .... the list goes on *excited*!
  15. I am still typing valuation reports Brendan (as usual) .... nearly finished 2 more to go
  16. and what's more if you do a search you will find this topic has been covered dozens of times before in various guises.
  17. ok you've all had your fun. Thread locked.
  18. Can you please PM me prices of all the products you do for an R34GTT front and rear .... depending on price want fronts, rears and pads.
  19. yeah our house will be a cool 23 degrees for the next week - just like it has been all summer Ducted r/c a/c ftmfw But we definitely will head to the parent's place at Ridgehaven for a swim or 2 .... minimum temp is going to be 27 degrees Wed night and 28 degrees Thurs night - now that is hot! Will definitely head down the Bay one of the those nights - love the balmy summer nights down the beach.
  20. As per forum rules, please use the 'wanted to buy thread' stickied at the top of the forums .... thread locked.
