  1. Interesting - but I must say I loved the titanium Gram Lights much more personally .... I am just not a fan of old school looking wheels.
  2. As far as I have been told as long as gauges are not above the top of the dash, then they are all good.
  3. Yeah I am pretty sure that kit does ALL of the front control bushes (upper and lower). But you do NOT want to pay Synergy to install them - you would be looking over $1k in labour easy - it is a BIG job. Your best bet would be to do what I did and pull out the lower and upper control arms, then either hacksaw/C-clamp press out all of the bushes, or take the whole lot to a mechanic and get them to press out the old ones and press in the new ones. While you are there you would DEFINITELY want to replace your lower ball joints, and mine went not long after I did the bushes and I had to mess with it again (you need x 2). http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=12275&Car_Type=G35&UID=20140225231523219.90.234.225 Here is a link to just lower control arm bushes if you don't want to do the whole thing (you need a pair obviously): http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=11376&Car_Type=G35&UID=20140225231523219.90.234.225
  4. I had the exact same thing - I am willing to bet it is your lower control arm bushes. It feels like the car try to ABS pull you OUT from the corner when you are turning in, right? I replaced mine and it completely went away. If yours look like the pic below then that is your issue. If you can be stuffed changing all of the your front bushes grab this. You will need a hydraulic or C-clamp press (which is what I used for mine) http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=5967&Car_Type=G35&UID=20140225215338219.90.234.225 I just grabbed the pair I need and did the 2 at the time. Otherwise it would be your springs/coilovers being too stiff and making the traction control come on as your inside wheel is digging in and turning at a much slower rate than your outside wheel. But tyre grip/quality, and surface grip/quality will have a big bearing on it too. Best bet it before a spirited hills run is to hold the VDC button for 15 seconds to turn off almost all of the VDC/traction control stuff. This works on my car, but apparently does not work on all. See if it still does it then to rule out anything electronic. But if your lower control arm bushes are shot it will still VDC you mid-corner no matter what.
  5. I still have 2 of these babies left. FYI door to door shipping to North Qld is $300 (I have sold one to someone up North already).
  6. If I were you I would grab one of the best bars ever made for V35s .... can do one delivered to your door in Brisbane for $1k. And since they are urethane you can scrape and bend them and they pop right back into shape. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/433400-f-s-v35-coupe-urethane-nismo-style-front-bumper-bars/#entry7064468
  7. Black and white = screen is NTSC, tuner is PAL
  8. This is what I have worked out. Power setting holds the car in each gear longer and downshifts earlier. A/T is normal. Snow is for snow - it turns the cars power down to less than 50% and turns up the slip sensitivity. The auto1 button may be for auto fold-in mirrors?
  9. Even better put either of these in your car (like I did) - the smaller one fits perfectly in the map holders by your knee either side of the centre console. Just cut off the plug and wire it into your accessories - easy, easy job. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Car-Cigarette-Lighter-Socket-Charger-4-way-Splitter-USB-Plug-LED-Light-Switch-/360859399386?pt=AU_MobilePhoneAccessories&hash=item5404e574da http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fast-Dual-USB-Socket-Car-Charger-Cigarette-Lighter-Adapter-for-Apple-iPhone-5-5G-/310638788804?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item485383c0c4
  10. Sweet so you would know Craig in spare parts then - he is always helpful getting us guys V35 items and was equally as helpful when I had my R34. Unley and Lakeside Nissan are fair hopeless and fall into the 'get stuffed, you own an import' ideology.
  11. Do you work for a Nissan dealer here in Adelaide, Eye Candy?
  12. For a dual catback in a decent brand add a 1 to the beginning of your asking price mate (ie. $1,300-$1,350). Even Chinese knock-offs don't come that cheap,
  13. Hi Justin, no I would not recommend Godspeed for camber arms. They are cheap, and for an integral component like camber arms you want better quality. I am perfectly happy with the GSP swaybars, but they are just a piece of tubular metal - not a threaded and adjustable item like camber arms.
  14. I have Tokico oem replacement shocks, Eibach 1.5" lowered heavy duty springs and Godspeed adjustable front and rear swaybars. I have also changed my lower control arm bushes to Nolathane, changed the lower ball joints to Megan Racing versions and have SPC adjustable rear camber rods. In my experience coilovers for the V35 are much harder than stock, and for daily duties stock items are firm enough for my liking. I ran some cheapy Chinese adjustable coilovers for a time, and they were utter shite compared to the setup I have now.
  15. Yes, definitely yes. I love how my V handles with adjustable/stengethened sway bars.
  16. I think it looks good, but I don't think you did a search nor asked on the forums about the Metra kit. A simple question would have resulted in you knowing beforehand that not only do you now have very crappy/tacky rubber buttons, but within a short timeframe your a/c controls will fail and you will have to buy an oem kit anyhow. Metra kits are junk. Fullstop.
  17. As requested, a new thread since the other one was nearly 300 pages long. KGo.
  18. Yeah I need a lhs one for the same reason .... but I am willing to bet we can't find one for anywhere near $35 in Aus .... bloody stealerships.
  19. Sold one, 2 more left. Who wants one? Last one, $1,000 + shipping.
  20. Sadly, as I pointed out, average sell time on one of these bad boys is about 12 months. Trust me, I have been doing the import thing for a long time. And to put modern cars into perspective, I bought my black premium V35 with similar km to yours for $32k 4 years ago. I have since spent about $12k improving it, and in all honesty it is worth about $15k-$20k tops today. Harsh but true. Time is not your friend. More pics (like of interior) may help. Is it paddle-shift? Does it have BOSE/Navi?
  21. About $750 for the 2 actuator mechs and at least $500 labour. But do it yourself - it is not THAT hard.
  22. Lol yeah there was only Toms and my V35 at the show .... but I am most happy to win by default
  23. Congrats Brendan - you must be loving life! Oh, and http://www.pcauthority.com.au/News/365851,bitcoin-soars-past-1000.aspx?eid=19&edate=20131128&utm_source=20131128&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=daily_newsletter&nl=daily&[email protected] There must be literally tens of thousands of instant millionaires this week.
  24. Hey Pete, remember at Kadina I was telling you about how I was mining Bitcoins and all about the whole alt-currency concept? Well back then a Bitcoin was worth just over US$100 - they are about to crack US$1,000 per Bitcoin!!!!! http://bitcoincharts.com/charts/mtgoxUSD#rg180ztgSzm1g10zm2g25zv Luckily I have a few - but not nearly as many as I would like. Sadly in July I decided that the electricity cost and hardware depreciation was not justifiable at around US$100 per Bitcoin - I was only just breaking even. Wish I had a time machine now! But I wouldn't be nearly as sad as his guy (I think I told you this story back then). http://motherboard.vice.com/blog/this-pizza-is-worth-750000 But update the price of that pizza to around US$9M now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  25. Yeah I was hoping to see you and your beast there Szymon .... pretty sure there is a trophy floating around for you from your efforts at the track day too (not sure what Ash did with it in the end). Speaking of trophies, thanks for NOT coming along to the show'n'shine - it meant I brought home this beautiful trophy instead of you
