  1. yeah being eaten by a wild animal would not be my choice of way to die. How crazy is the leopard/cheetah that jumps into the safari car window?! Psycho
  2. ^^ hehe yeah Pete is just a pussy more like this (click) methinks
  3. yeah that was Pete - and yeah, he is a big scary dude
  4. hahaha yeah the inaugural SAU:SA lan was awesome .... sorry I couldn't hang around longer, but have to do the right thing by the wife and a teething 7 month old Great to catch up with some old faces, and meet some new ones! We will have to make this a regular thing! Thanks heaps ArenaGTR for putting it on, and Steve for his organisational skills.
  5. geez I can't believe all these softc0cks pulling out .... oh hang on, I can believe it: See the rest of you guys who bother turning up at Scoozi for a latte at 8pm.
  6. ^^^ zomg what a noob just kidding. CS = version 1.6 CS:Source = latest Steam version It's hard to describe the differences, but they are quite different games, even though they are the same game. Yeah mate, that is Jamie. Absolutely crazy player - the boy has skills. Has played for and won with the best clans in Australia at nationwide gaming contests.
  7. Adelaide Radial Tyre seem to do decent work - they set up many of the local drifters cars. I will be getting mine realigned there shortly.
  8. /vote NO DUST WHATSOEVER - most boring maps on the planet! We had a lan last Saturday with a few mates (Arena, I believe you know Jamie - Rec from Pantheon, Syndicate, Ceteris Paribus etc), and we played a fair bit on a Dust 1 server - I was bored out of my skull. Bring on Train, Assault, Office, Aztec
  9. When I brought my R34 in nearly 2 years ago I had this happen. I actually did the wire transfer of money to the Japanese company to buy the car, and the car was loaded onto a waiting car ship THAT DAY. Lo and behold, the car arrived in Adelaide 21 days later. (It was supposed to take around 6 weeks). It takes more time than that organise the paperwork apparently, as when it arrived I was told the car should be crushed as it was illegal. All turned out ok, but it had to sit in storage for 3 weeks on the docks, and I got slugged around $1,000 for the privilege. Then I had the compliance debacle which took over 8 weeks and they never did half the things they were supposed to = no a/c regas, original seat belts, didn't change any fluids whatsoever .... they went out of business shortly thereafter. (Best Enterprises). That was after I spent months sourcing oem parts to change over to get compliance etc etc. Easier now there are lots of them about, but when I brought mine in R34s and their parts were few and far between.
  10. importing a car really is a royal pain in the butt, no matter who you go through. If you can buy one here for a similar price do it - it can be a very frustrating and time consuming process.
  11. ^^ haha yeah now it looks poxy - not to mention high But on the flipside - David's GTR looks awesome with your dished P1s Owww my bleeding fingers .... damn working on/around cars
  12. Morpowa are good at what they do, if not a bit expensive. Boostworx are better.
  13. absolutely! Can you PM me where one can buy such things, in case I know someone that is interested?
  14. yep, burning backup games (which is quite legal since I own the originals and am just backing up my originals so I don't wear out/scratch the original disks) is a royal pain in the ass. I haven't tried to copy an original game, as it is just too difficult - yes you need special software to manipulate the iso once you have made it, before you image it onto a blank disk. And yes you need an LG burner of specific model to do it. Once someone has copied the game, you can them straight copy it. BUT you need to use certain brands/types of blanks too - the ones I have had the most success with ids the Target brand 'Base', and TDK DVD-RW disks. Even then some work and some don't work - it is quite hit and miss. Even if one were to download Wii games, you have to use the correct brand/type blanks and again I hear is very hit and miss.
  15. Spotted the very sexy Bayside Blue R34GTR number plate 'BNR34' in Northgate the other day with some drift damage on the rear drivers side rear quarter
  16. I had a Bosch 040 in my S15 and got a bad batch of fuel and the car had similar symptoms. Pulled the 040 out and it had sludge all over the inlet, which had clogged it up and stressed the pump out, causing it to whine and stutter. My S15 was only 60,000km at the time - we pulled the fuel tank out just to be safe and it was full of sludge at the bottom. Had to steam clean it out. I put it down to a bad batch of fuel from SAFF, which I got in the week before the sludge appeared. Had never used any other fuel than Mobil 8000 and BP Ultimate - then 1 tank of SAFF and bang. Nice work going the Walbro - I have one in my R34 and it is great. I replaced the buggered 040 in my S15 with a Walbro too - did the same job, but was literally half the noise. 040s are so damn noisy - constant buzzing from the fuel tank = very annoying!
  17. nah sounds like the laptops are totally stuffed Tangles - better offload them to me and I will dispose of them thoughtfully. :) A nice tax writeoff for 2 new lappies just before tax time Oh, and if you bought them from me you get on site service
  18. Boostworx - simply the best
  19. ^^^^ MXTC had his for sale - not sure if he got rid of them or not. PM him
  20. wow that is a super nice rig! You should start SMP folding and join the SAU folding team with that sort of power!
  21. Yeah man that is WAY too hot for a water cooling system. I would turn your voltage down a tad - but you may have to lower your fsb too. What voltage are you currently running? I would think around 3.8v, which is probably too hot. Your CPU won't have too longer life at that rate. 44 degrees is way too hot at idle too. Should not even be that hot with a really good heatsink and fan. Put more case fans in and get more air flow will cool it down heaps. I have 2 x intake and 2 x outlet fans, plus the CPU, VGA card and dual PSU fans. There is no such things as too much air movement. Is the fan working properly on your radiator? I think it may not be - that would be your problem.
  22. hahahahahahaha nice one - that guy must be a champ
  23. Spotted a guy in a VP commo follow me into a service station this arvo, wind down his window and tell me how much he loves my car, and asked me how much would I sell it to him for. I said it is not for sale, but in the end everything is for sale at a price
  24. ^^^ are they Camrys Erin? /runs and hides
  25. fyi +40 on a R34GTT looks GAY (unless you are running 8 inch wide rims, which is unlikely). for 9" rims you want at least +34 or if you have decent suspension with little lateral travel +30 like R34GTR stock wheels. Mine are +36 and I always look at them wishing they filled the guards out more! Sooner or later I will get some 20mm bolt-on spacers to fix that problem.
