  1. lol Darren - the missus and I are with Police Health (her old man is a retired cop) and pay nearly $3k a year between us. I wish we were paying $6 a week. But in saying that we each have like $500 for optical, $500+ for dental, $500 for physio, etc etc per year. Oh and when Carolyn had Tyler a few months back at a private hospital, we had NO out of pocket expenses - finally getting some of our outlay back. Same if either of us got seriously injured we would be FULLY covered. At the end of the day I think full cover is worth it in the long run.
  2. Five secrets of a perfect relationship: 1. It is important to have a woman who helps at home, cleans, cooks, and has a job. 2. It is important to have a woman who can make you laugh. 3. It is important to have a woman who you can trust and doesn't lie. 4. It is important to have a woman who is good in bed and likes being with you. 5. It is very, very, very important that these 4 bitches don't know each other! :D :D
  3. Auto window windup is one of the best mods I have ever done to a car - especially sinc eI am in and out of the car dozens of times a day. I only wish they did auto down too, when you disarmed the car with an aux button or something. Could be done I suppose - I might look into it. My wife's Honda Accord Euro has factory all window wind down when you disarm the factory alarm and keep holding the unlock button - it is awesome to get hot air out on a hot day. So is the remote start on some alarms .... or so I hear
  4. Adz please use the search function to find info you know is available
  5. wow how is the water pump so cheap? I am about to buy one for my R34 and Nissan price is $227.45 and Kudos motorsport (which I was told would be cheapest) is $238.00.
  6. my R34 4 door drivers window has been playing up for 6 months. Sometimes the autoclose works fine, but most of the time the window goes up, then comes down 5cm like it has hit something. If I hold the up swtich up, then the wond closes and stays closed. Interestingly when I arm my alarm and the window windup kit activates, it ALWAYS closes fine. I am not that fussed and just live with it - wouldn't mind finding out a solution though.
  7. sorry Luke didn't see or hear you mate - I often drive along in my own little world
  8. I had my picture taken this morning on Dashwood Road, Beaumont - I didn't realise it was a 50 zone - saw the flash and reckon I was doing about 58km/h - the 50km/h sign was shortly after it - thing that sucks most is that Dashwood Rd is a wide, open road (albeit with a few houses on it) - and it is a hard yellow line road in the street directory, which means it is a SEMI-MAIN road - how can it be 50km/h? Dang it
  9. ^^^ full boost at 4,000rpm that the guys say above sucks ass for the street. My 2530 is making full boost by around 3,000rpm - you really don't want to have to rev the crap out of your car every day on the street to have a bit of fun. The low down torque on my RB25 absolutely kicks ass from about 2,000rpm - awesome from the street!
  10. I bought mine off Ebay
  11. that is a 4 door V35 there Steve .... oh and no V36s in Aus yet to my knowlegde.
  12. often air fuel gauges piggy-back onto your O2 sensor.
  13. spotted a bus having some cornering issues, and some phat street art on the back of the new Quick Wash on North East Rd, Ridgehaven Plus some pics of cool old school wallpaper taken in peoples homes recently
  14. spotted a light grey Lamborghini Gallardo on Cross Road this arvo *drool* - might have been the Superleggera from the Murray Walker Extreme Machines display - only got a fleeting look as I was driving the other way - so didn't see if it had the black stripe or not.
  15. yep I love my HKS 2530 - makes an easy 230rwkw with standard injectors, auto trans, and an Apexi SAFCII - would make much more with a PowerFC and manual trans. Add cams and would make even more. Response is awesome - starts building boost around 2,000rpm and builds very nicely from there .... worst thing in any street car is to have lag, lag, lag, then whack the power comes on hard and strong IMHO.
  16. yeah mate the 2530 is unreal .... heaps of low down torque - she makes boost from around 2,000prm and I almost never need to go over 5,000rpm as the power comes on so strong .... and there are speed limits to consider It is still not tuned properly and as always I have more goodies in the shed to go on - but I never have the time to spend on her ....
  17. haha yeah mate I came flying around the corner and saw the car and took a few seconds to click - white GTR, black bonnet .... hang on that's Luke!! Got the wave off a bit late, but saw ya mate. I actually did a 'spotted' in your new car thread last night Glad you liked the note of my RB - I love it too .... and that was with the exhaust valve half closed!
  18. hey Luke, yeah I spotted you today on Yatala Vale Rd - spotted you too late to wave, and had my window up! Looks awesome mate.
  19. Nice ride, and welcome Simon. Come out to the dyno day on the 8th March to meet some of us and chuck your car on the rollers!
  20. are you in SA V35 GT8? I would looooooooooooooooooooooove to check out your ride!
  21. Is that glitter I spy on the bonnet? Are those photos taken at Golden Grove by any chance? Love the rims mate - I have never seen P1s with so much dish - one of the reason I didn't like P1s - but they look porn!
  22. Ebay is your friend! ** edit ** I can't get the damn link to work. Search AU Ebay for "R33 boot" and you will find the boot lock
  23. sweet as Luke. What level of mods has it got? Can't wait to go for a thrash in her! Sorry to say, but the bodykit looks tacked on - I take it you are going to remedy that? Nice car either way mate.
  24. On the 2nd episode of Blood, Sweat and Gears the guy in the Ferrari spun it on a slalom course, and the car ECU shut the car down as the wheels span and it turned too violently. They had to get a Ferrari tech to reset the ECU to start the car again! Definitely far too much computer 'control' for me - who would want such a thing?
  25. err this CCR on fire? He was having a super bad day! Plus some of my fave pics from today
