  1. Sorry so say mate, but that is one of the ugliest 350Zs I have ever seen. What is with the Bentley-gone-wrong front grille, and the shocking front bumper colour match, and those ugly headlight covers that don't even come close to fitting? I would punch your paint shop owner if I was you.
  2. I love my crappy little HKS 2530 Luke - maybe a 2530 or 2535 might be an option for you - you can pick them up 2nd hand for around $1k every now and then. Pretty much lag free, and lots of fun. I am making 230 odd with my little 2530
  3. try Sambo33 - he works for a reputable workshop, so I hear
  4. go a thermo - clutch fans suck
  5. go to a fancy dress shop and they will have lists of 80s themes you could choose .... surely such things exist on the internet, but I can't be stuffed Googling
  6. yeah they will physically fit, but since the weights (and distribution of weight) is different between the 2 models, handling characteristics would be slightly different. But if you got height and damper adjustable coilovers, then a good suspension place could tune the damper to the weight of your car with a good level of success. Even better if you get somewhere that does individual corner weight suspension tuning - then you can decide how hard/soft you want each corner to be. I had R33GTR coilovers put in my R34GTT and hated them - as the weight distribution difference between a R33GTR and R34GTT is just too great. You might get away with R33GTsT vs R34GT
  7. Of course you can put a tow bar on an R34 Karl - you can put one on any car. Just takes a small amount of fabrication. But I know what people say about towing with turbo cars, full stop, as you put such a load on the turbo, which obviously is not good for it.
  8. Hi mate, I have a set (coolant inlet and outlet) here if you want them. Can't really separate, but I will have a look and see if I have a spare one of not (have done a couple of turbo installs). If I don't have a spare the pair will cost you $150 (including banjo bolts and washers). If I just have a spare of the one you need it will be $75. Ring me on 0414 904 451 if you want them, as I probably won't check the forums again today. In am in Northgate. Andrew
  9. Thanks mate got mine today! They look great. Cheers
  10. I am after some spacers too - where did you buy yours from mate?
  11. yeah my R34 was quoted to be under $22k landed and complied, but ended up costing just over $25k all up .... its all the little (and not so little) hidden fees that get you. One great scam is the $30 a day 'holding fee' they slug you while they have your car trapped in customs for 3 weeks. Mine was trapped on the docks for 3 weeks awaiting red tape crap - I could literally go to Outer Harbour and see my car sitting there, but wasn't allowed to get it out
  12. man, that sucks the big one - I was very much looking forward to the driving range ....
  13. I want a R34GTR style front bar and vented bonnet to fit an R34GTT
  14. hey Andy, yeah check out some ski pics below: Falls Creek SKiing 2007 (I am not sure why the previews seem screwed up, but slick on the pics and scroll through and they look fine)
  15. I am keen, but at only 230rwkw and a non-perfect car, I am sure there are better Skylines around than mine .... so put me down the list if we need numbers.
  16. so, fieds - care to share how much this mate wants for his R34GTR? .... I have always wanted one. They keep popping up on JSpec for under $50k which is just amazing value for such a serious car. There is a Bayside Blue on there atm for just under $50k and it has all sorts of goodies already fitted. Sooooooooooooo tempted. It is such a shame my wife just finished work before having a baby and I am not flush with cash at this moment .... still if your mate wants to move the GTR for the right money I may be swayed. There are soooooo many have been on Carsales for a year plus and can't even get $50k-$60k for them it is not funny.
  17. yeah good to see you out and about Luke!
  18. are any of you guys playing the Team Fortress 2 Beta? It is quite possibly the coolest game ever - for those that loved TF in the original Half Life you will absolutely love TF2!!!!!!
  19. buy one of my sets of rims - cheap as, and look the goods! Feel free to come over and try them on your R34! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t1...ml&hl=enkei http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/ROH-Bla...es-t207067.html
  20. I am dead keen, but Carolyn is due to give birth Oct 25 - so it depends if the little bugger is early or late
  21. You should be able to find a point of rotation where the hub doesn't move much (without the need to lock it) - you only have to break it - then it will be easy peasy. I would buy some 'penetrene' (which is a spray not dissimilar to WD40) that will get into the thread and make it much easier to undo. I have a bottle here if you want to come over and borrow it.
  22. misread your question .... but my answer to your real question would be to get a big arse socket with a long jimmy bar and jump on it.
  23. yep could be a crack in your fuel return hoses as well - they get hard over time and can flex and leak intermittently depending on the weather
  24. Andy see if Sydneykid can get the group buy Bilsteins/Whiteline setup for your GTR. Keep in mind almost ANYTHING you buy that is non-coilovers will be much softer than the stock GTR ride - I think that is a good thing - but you may like it hard - if you don't, the Bilsteins are firm without being ridiculous.
  25. I still have both sets of my rims sitting here if you are interested come over and have a look at them. Can even try them on your car if you want - I have a trolley jack!
