It would be useful for super hot days where your intercooler gets really really hot. But if you aren't going to punish it in hot weather or on the track, then I don't think it would have too much effect. Still, it is nice to use if you are on a cruise on a warm night and want to give it a squirt - once you coat the intercooler in water it becomes a much more effective heatsink. I did my setup on the S15 for the 4,6 and Rotor Nationals a couple of years ago when it was 45 degrees on the track. I also put ice bags on top of the motor to cool it down, and iced up the pod filter to get some cold air in there.

Sorry Brittz but if you leave your car at TTP it WILL be stolen. If they have all day to work on it while you are away, then you have absolutely no chance. It takes under 10 minutes to saw off a club lock. They will set off your alarm 5 minutes after you park it - then your battery will be flat within a couple of hours, then they will take it. As much as I applaud your choice in buying a cool car, there is no way one should be left there. You should definitely be considering other options. When I used to park there and catch the O-Bahn to school I had my (various crap) cars broken into at least 6 times a year. Never to steal them (as they were pos's), but to take my spare change, CDs, stereos and speakers. Once they even smashed the rear windscreen to take the 6x9s out of the rear shelf. That is how desperate these scumbags are.

Do you mean en external water spray setup, of an internal one which mixes water into the inlet air? I had an external setup off the windscreen wipers on my S15 and it helped on hot days but you run out of water fast. Tuners hate the other variety - even though some will tell you it is reliable, has been used on rally cars for years, etc etc. These are still out of favour with the general population, although in theory they sound fantastic.

yeah I got leatherette for my R34 and it is great for the money. In fact I still have a rear seat in 2 tone leatherette similar to stock colours I want to sell if anyone wants to do the back seat of their R34 and then get some fronts made. I have a 4 door, and the rear covers I got are for a 2 door, so obviously are no good for my car. $100 for anyone that wants them.

+1 what Chops said - it actually was not so much BJs fault at all .... BUT he should either spend a shitload of money on the track, digital signboards, infrastructure, etc etc, or sell it to someone like Bill who actually wants to pour money into it and bring Adelaide back to the once mighty drag town it was.

This is getting way out of control. I am so paranoid I have put in 2 kill switches, and bought a premium Club lock that I use whenever my car isn't in my very secure garage. Let's hope one of us catch these people and we can send them a strong message from the Skyline community about what happens to car thieves. Hope it turns up.

Unless you (or someone else) can start it and run it for 20 minutes every month, I would sell it. Nothing worse than an engine like that sitting around for year with stale oil/fuel/fluids etc

any of the fuel pump, ignition, or engine fuses from the fuse box in the engine bay will disable a car nicely. Except for towing, as discussed.
