4door Crash - Im Off The Road For A While
Nightcrawler replied to 4door_Sleeper's topic in South Australia
sorry to hear it is a write-off mate, but you are probably better off in the long run. What about an M35 Stagea? Not bad and cheap as chips for what you get http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/modul...hp?StockID=4379 -
I have some awesome Enkei Circlars in 17s with some serious dish for $1,000 with 2 very good tyres, 2 buggered tyres I also have some ROH Blades in 17s for $700 with ok tyres Honestly 17" are the way to go - in terms of comfort and the price of replacement tyres too. I find 18s and above absolutely ruin ride quality - especially if you have aftermarket suspension. Feel free to come over and try them on your car if you are keen - I have a nice big trolley jack here
-
you won't get squat for $800 - $2k is a fairly standard charge for paint and fit - especially since almost ALL kits are cheap copies and need a significant amount of work to get them looking good.

Qld Number Plates
Nightcrawler replied to driftceffy's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
ROFLMAO imagine having to explain your plates to every single person you meet (how annoying) - 607PSI doesn't even mean anything to me and I have been around 'leet speak' for 10 years .... pfft $600 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha -
Anyone Got Standard Rb20 Turbo Oil And Water Lines Laying Around?
Nightcrawler replied to SOOKIE's topic in South Australia
yep you will need banjo bolts too. I have some (off an RB25 R33), or try Nissan. -
I have some banjo bolts if you want to buy some stockers
-
sorry I didn't make it guys - had to pick the wife up from the airport ah well, next time ....
-
/drool x 1,000,000 If these are priced even close to right I am going to buy one :) - but I bet they will be a long way the wrong side of $100k when are sold here
-
nope they are the wrong offset - will stick out of the guards marginally
-
no way Andy - wtf are you doing going on such a cruise?? Every bogan and d!ckhead there in their riced up or V8 pieces of sh!t doing burnouts and drifts .... not cool at all. I think you are endangering your car driving around with P plate lunatics on a power trip. My 2c
-
yeah what the hell were the Exa, Pulsar and shitty old Bluebird doing on an SAU cruise? Don't they have their own club, rather than come on a SKYLINE cruise? The FD I can deal with as it is such a sexy car, and Shaz's S14 is a baby Skyline I was stuck behind a DR30 for most of the 1st part of the cruise and boy it pissed me off no end - if you can't go fast up the hills, please let others who can go past
-
Car Toys sell them (or at least used to if they don't now). But don't advertise what model alarm you are putting in your ride - unfortunately thieves may lurk on this forum.
-
haven't you sold it yet Justin? /taps foot impatiently Happy Birthday fellas!
-
yep I don't park the R34 at TTP. Had my S15 badged there once and won't park there again. I think it is just about time for vigilante activity, as suggested. Once we f$#k a few of them up bad enough and put their smashed up faces on the news, maybe other would-be thieves will think again before touching a Skyline
-
lol you want a car that is over 14 years old that is immaculate? ROFL. Sorry mate they have ALL been thrashed sh!tless. Such a thing you seek does not exist - you will have to settle and try to bring the best one you find back up to a respectable level.
-
yep make a copy Sean - I will happily contribute to the cost As you will no doubt scratch and dent it, you really must have copies made! Paint it man - when they are black you can't see them and makes it a waste imho. See how hard it is to see the one in Chapman's pic?
-
I had GIIIs on the R34 and they were absolutely brilliant. Only problem was when I went to replace them the rear 255s were going to cost $450 each! Went for Michelin Pilots and they have been awesome, but as usual I only got just over 10,000km from them. Might try these out next.
-
hrm I disagree on a stock Evo being a weapon - I drove Munro's Evo8 when he first got it and I thought it was quite slow- until an intake/exhaust etc is added a stock R34GTT would be on even par methinks. However once a few go-fast bits are added, then I will go with your statement.

hi, I have a set of 17" Enkei Circlar wheels for sale, taken off my R34GTT. The wheels are: Fronts : 17x8 +35 with 90% tread ANTYRE HP88 225/45 17 tyres Rears : Dished 17x9 +38 with unroadworthy tyres 235/45 17 The wheels were on the car from Japan, and like all Jap rims had been salted to some degree. I had a mate who works at ROH strip them back to bare metal, rust treat/paint them, and resprayed at the ROH factory: Silver. They have minor gutter rash, but nothing too bad. Very nice looking rims with some nice dish. Looking for $1,000.

4door Crash - Im Off The Road For A While
Nightcrawler replied to 4door_Sleeper's topic in South Australia
hey Guy my Enkei Circlar rims are up for sale for $1,000 with rubber now I got some Rays Gram Lights 57Cs. Also still have the old ROH Blades in the shed if they tickle your fancy and are cheap as at $700 with rubber. Also have some stock R33 wheels here if you need something to get you out of trouble - $400 with decent rubber on them. Yes I am a rim whore. Got my R32 wheels with RE540s on them for when AIR finally reopens too -
have you got a link to any info on turbo RX8s Sam? I was told by a Mazda mechanic that you can't turbocharge them, as the new Rensis design has the inlet and exhaust outlets overlapping to make more power, and a turbo setup would not work with compression during the brief moment that the intake and outlets are open. Yes I think the RX8s are a beautiful car and if you had the $$ to buy one and turbocharge it, it would be awesome. But like Danny said, a R34GTR would be the pic of the bunch and since you can bring them in for around $50k are supreme value. If I didn't do so many km for work, I would grab one in a heartbeat. Honestly I would go an Evo7 or 8 for the money you want to spend James. Synergy Mototrsport on Main North road have a couple of very nice ones in there at the moment, and you can bring them in much cheaper through JSpec or Prestige. Quite a few nice ones around privately in Aus too Evo6 with leather interior and kick-ass stereo Semi auto Evo 7.5 You owe it to yourself to go take an Evo for a drive - pretty amazing cars. Yes I know this sounds weird out of my mouth people, and no I wouldn't own one as I am a Nissan freak, but in the list offered I think value for money Evos are the best option.

hahahah lol - in my S15 I did 85,000km before I sold it - the stock clutch lasted 40,000km (then I did upgrades to 200rwkw), next the single plate Exedy lasted 15,000km, next a twin plate Exedy lasted 15,000km (and was absolutely horrible to drive), and lastly the extra heavy duty single plate organic Exedy was pretty much rooted when I sold the car.
-
yeah shame the 350Z and RX8 are so terribly slow. I looked at buying both of these brand new, but they are so slow it is sad, and even mild mods which will increase power by a small margin are ridiculously expensive. So are you going to get Pomfus to join the forums James? I thought I'd see you guys at dinner tonight? Go the R34GTT or if you can afford it a V35 with twin turbos .... the latter is what I have been thinking about getting

hahaha yeah that was an awesome day. My car was out of action, so MattR and I sat up in the commentary box doing stupid commentating and getting drunk That is by far the best way to do it. Works out to under $100 per person, and you get to do shitloads of runs all day long. We ran out of cars to run and finished early even that day. And cars like Munro's race car and the GT S15 and R34 could come out for some test and tune. Only drawback on those organised type days is it is always only 1 lane - so you can't actually race other cars - which sucks ass, as that is half the fun IMHO. I vote we organise an inter-club grudge match at a street meet when the track reopens - so we can challenge other cars and whip their asses. Especially the Evo guys who like to think their little Mitsi's are better than Skylines ROFL
