spotted Duc's R33 (also Red Back's R33GTR and GFXMan's MR2) out the front of Chops house in Nairne Saturday night, also spotted Duc out the front of my house last night .... happy Duc?

sorry Duc didn't even show the car off to anyone last night .... come over whenever you want to have a look at the DVD player - give me a buzz. Ebay purchase for VERY cheap!

R34 turbo and fuel pump sold!

yeah we went to the Plaza earlier tonight, but I would never park the R34 there - we always take the Honda Accord Euro shopping

yeah I miss it Luke, but the R34 is nearly as quick and much easier/more pleasant/more comfortable to drive!! I put a double DIN DVD player in it recently and love mobile TV and movies!

yeah he drove it like he stole it e from the moment he first sat in it - even on the test drive (much to my disgust). I spotted it parked in Ingle Farm a few weeks back. I had been told it was written off but seems that was a rumour. I take it when you saw it Joel it didn't have my PCOTY plates on it anymore - he never came to get the transfer agreement from me.

I am perfectly happy with my JustJap kit on my R34 .... I had a $1,200 genuine Hybrid kit on my S15 and I can't tell the difference between that and my $300 JustJap one.

Spotted this lovely piece of Italian machinery at a place I valued in the Eastern suburbs today ..... mmmm 400i - old school classic ..... 5L flat 12 and it sounded sweet as!

JustCars $1,200 with mods including HKS turbo, 30 years old, rating 2 or 3 (some driving history). They didn't give a toss about all my mods, as long as they are listed on the policy.

Engine clutch fan, coilovers and HKS boost gauge now sold.

Having owned both: An S15 is like a go-kart on steroids, with a rattly, revvy motor and cheap interior. An R34 is more like a cruiser, with a more solid engine, and more solid/better quality interior. You need approx. 20% more power in an R34 to keep up with an S15, but an S15 will still win through the twisties and stops a lot quicker.

hi, I need urgent help. I am fitting my front coilovers and sway bar - how the heck do you fit the sway bar. I have undone the little moving eye socket thing near the brakes, and have undone the rear nut on the bracket holding the bar to the chassis - but the front nut is obscured by part of the suspension assembly - do you have to remove this part to get to the nut? It looks like a bugger to get off - and even worse to get back on! Please respond asap.

yeah saw you too late this morning to get the wave out Steve .... I also spotted a black R33 number plate KAKLE get pulled over by a very angry looking cop on Grand Junction Rd this arvo - methinks he drifted around Hampstead Rd/Grand Junction corner or something - cos the female cop looked fair pissed as she stormed up to his window!!

ok enough of this shite - I will leave the thread here for a while, as it a (somewhat) humorous read, and a good lesson on why NOT to take drugs .... but consider the topic closed - take it to the wasteland people and waste your lives away there ....

I think it is lowlife scum who generally just want to have a good time. However, it seems quite a few are stolen and driven around normally quite a lot - a few have been recovered with guys just driving them around as their daily and someone spotting them and taking action. Needless to say they are one of the most fun cars around, and hence they are targeted. Hope you get her back in one piece mate! And I hope you find out who stole it for some divine retribution.

(this is going to sound harsh - but ...) yep I agree with Steve - it is irresponsible people who don't put alarms in their Skylines that cause the rest of us to pay such high insurance premiums. How you could leave an un-alarmed R33 ANYWHERE, let alone in your driveway overnight without an alarm is totally beyond me. If you can't afford an alarm, don't buy such an attractive car. Even if you were looking at alarms, maybe you should have done that before you bought the car .... and then put a club lock, plus a flashing red led in your dash (2 minute job), plus park another car behind yours at night .... I hope you get it back man, and I hope everyone learns your lesson.

the Nismo-kitted R34s are nasty pieces of work imho - way over the top spoiler, and interesting front bar. I know Iceduck hated the big wraparound rear spoiler so he took his off.

what sort of alarm did you have?

They will almost certainly glance inside the car, and if they spot the turbo timer they can/will sting you for a full Regency check, which you definitely don't want (then every speck of rust is picked on, dented chassis rails, leaking/worn bushes/tie rods etc). Be careful.

yeah my brother-in-law rang me earlier and said he saw that yellow R34 and an identical Nismo kitted silver R34 in the same carpark at Golden Grove tonight! Apparently that yellow R34 has a Kansai sticker on it - I didn't realise Terry brought in whole cars.
