I think Munro has some R33 stock seats for sale - fire him a PM. He might have a steering wheel too.

After your comment about the a/c pipes I went and checked my engine bay and you are right Joel - I will only just be able to get a 16" fan in there .... bugger .... oh well that will have to do. With the Pivot controller I will be able to control when and how hard it comes on, so will have to ramp it up on hot days accordingly. I am also going to rig it up so the thermo fan keeps running even after the engine is turned off, when the water is over a certain temperature. Since I am in and out of the car all day, and spend long times stationary idling with the a/c on, I need to do this to sort out my temp issues once and for all. On 40 degree days I have seen my water temp reach 115 degrees - yikes!!

no worries cruzin33 we are all here to help sweet Joel - glad to hear you are happy with it. I hoped I could get some feedback before I bought them With 2 x 14" (which will hang an inch over each side of the radiator) I will have 5,300cfm - which is a MASSIVE amount of air! And I will need it since I have a FMIC, putting on an oil cooler and upgraded trans cooler, plus standard a/c radiator, plus the new radiator.

I am just about to buy 2 of these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HIGH-PERFORMANCE-14...1QQcmdZViewItem and chuck them in when I fit my new radiator. Also going to put in a Pivot fan speed controller too - temperature controlled thermo is where it's at!

I get between 5.46 and 6.7km/L .... most I have ever had out of a tank is 400km - my orange light comes on at around 280km most of the time I am going to change the O2 sensor shortly as well as some other mods - hopefully will improve the economy

R33 Stock Turbo Water And Oil Lines Urgently Needed
Nightcrawler replied to Nightcrawler's topic in South Australia
no worries Matt, thanks for your help anyhow. I actually forgot to ring you/Shaun Sunday morning anyhow to say don't bother since I had sourced some from Jason. Ah well, it all worked out in the end, the car is now gone to the insurance mob to be auctioned (I might yet buy back the wreck for fun), and I have a 2530 64T sitting in my garage -

Let me know how you go with the lines Jason, as I think I am going to get new ones made for the 2530 - the standard banjo bots and metal lines system seem a pretty crap system to me. -

New R34gtt Radiator For An Auto?
Nightcrawler replied to Nightcrawler's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
thanks for your advice guys - I think I am going to go with the big Davies Craig cooler I have - I figure it will have much more cooling capacity/ability I currently have, and Mike from MV Auto here in Adelaide agrees. Now I just have to find time to do it, as I might as well do the oil cooler, trans cooler and radiator at the same time (since I have all of those items new in my garage waiting to go on - and the intercooler and front bar have to come off to do all three) .... then time to do the fuel pump and pressure reg .... then time to put on the new turbo .... then get it tuned .... then break it .... then fix it again .... ah the hardship of owning a Skyline -
R33 Stock Turbo Water And Oil Lines Urgently Needed
Nightcrawler replied to Nightcrawler's topic in South Australia
David (brother-in-law) had someone rear-end his R33 and push him into another car Friday week ago and they have written it off. So we spent all weekend pulling all his mods off and returning it to stock. Since he had a Garrett 2530 the oil and water lines were not stock, so when I went to put the lines on the stock turbo I came up stumped (they hadn't kept the original lines when changing the turbo). So luckily Jason came to the rescue and sold me his stock lines. I rang you today Matt, but it said your number is disconnected. I thought I saw your GTR in Norwood .... but didn't know you were back in town? But it had GTR wheels on it .... other than that was identical to yours! -
yeah Nick it is heaps like GTA .... but has a Scarface slant running right through the game. You definitely will enjoy the game more if you have seen the movie. Still enjoyable even if you haven't though.
-
yeah I have been playing it on PC for a few months now - have put in over 100 hours! Bloody awesome game, and some of the things that come out of his mouth shock even me .... plus I have been beaten up and urinated on on 2 separate occasions lol

R33 Stock Turbo Water And Oil Lines Urgently Needed
Nightcrawler replied to Nightcrawler's topic in South Australia
yeah thanks heaps Darren for putting me onto Jason!!! Thanks heaps Jason - they worked a treat! Put the standard turbo, dump and water/oil lines back in, in under 2 hours! The car fired first time and didn't leak any oil. We had a small water leak due to a petrified/cracked original turbo water return hose (the nasty one that goes behind the engine) but other than that everything worked out awesomely. Thanks again! If you need advice/help on custom oil/water lines PM Dangerman (Darren) and I am sure he will help you out. I hope your slide high-flow gets here soon! -
Huge congrats Darren!! And thanks heaps for the car advice last night!

Hi, has anyone upgraded their turbo and have the old water and oil lines lying around? I desperately need these asap PM me or phone 0414 904 451. I assume the R34 lines are the same too. Not sure about R32s, but if anyone knows that would be great too. I am happy to try anything at this point! Thanks in advance! Andrew

Back up your personal shite on CD/DVD/or external HDD, then run the recovery CD the lappie came with. They pretty much run themselves - should format your HDD (all data will be lost if not backed up) and install Windows and all the oem programs. If you're not comfortable doing it I suggest you take it back to where you bought it, or drop it to me overnight and I will do it for say $50 cash. I am in Northgate - not too far from you I believe.

upping your amount of memory won't affect your laptop negatively in any way. Since you are not overclocking you don't have to worry about heat etc. But, you will find the price of 2 x 1Gb ram sticks to suit your laptop brand and model to be OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive!
