what is the name of the group Rolls? I am a member of 'tvtorrents' and have just made up my 11Gcredits that you need to invite someone. That is, I have uploaded 11 times what I have downloaded (well almost - you can get bonus credits so it is not a directly linear thing).

dude, no-one (except you) is going off on a tangent of legality etc - that has nothing to do with anything .... You said "i like it in torrents how i can upload sweet f**k all and download at upwards 150kb a sec with cable. adsl u share too much. i dont like sharing" .... what I responded was that this is a bad attitude. If you download a 1Gb file, then you should leave the file sharing in your torrent client until you have uploaded 1Gb back into the system. Then you are sharing it with everyone else, rather than just downloading the file and not sharing it. If everybody did this then you would never have been able to download the file in the 1st place. Understand?

no SAZilla, he is saying you suck because you download torrents, but don't upload your fair share. If everyone (or even a reasonable percentage of people) did this, the whole system would not work. I have never downloaded a file that I didn't seed back to 200%.

sweet thanks for the info SuperMod .... Chops and I have spoken many times about why isps don't offer a 'up to 8,000k' service - it only makes sense! Even if I got 3k I would be happy! It's a bugger about the uploads only being up to 384k though - I want to upload more torrents to get more credits! Speaking of torrents, I am going to start encoding some of the 'Formula D' episodes I have taped, and I will upload them in the near future and will post torrent details for those interested. FYI the show is about the SSCA American Formula D (drift) competition, and features the likes of Rhys Millen. Bloody awesome series!

tell me more about the wifi Steve. As I am in Northgate and we have some povo piggy-back exchange which is optical and runs a rim, I am told I can never get ADSL2. We didn't get normal ADSL until like a year after people in Northfield and Oakden could get it. I am interested in a wireless solution.

Another vote for Internode here - always lightning quick and phone help desk is open until midnight every weeknight, and they are very helpful if you have any issues. I think $79.95 for 40Gb on the 24,000/1,000 plan (waiting for DSL2 currently running at 1,500/256) is bloody awesome for the service level you get. Also there are shiteloads of sites where the data is unmetered - especially Internodes own games and file servers.

Suit hard street or race GTR build up that requires strong bottom end. Engine currently at Willall racing - can arrange transport. Also have a set of good condition standard RB26 rods that can include in Sale. $6500.

definitely go the auto Joel .... for $2,500 you can make an R34 Tiptronic auto absolutely bulletproof - kelvar plates, upgraded belts, modified high-stall and all the trimmings. I am pretty sure Mike from MV Automatics at Blackwood does stand-alone brains that can run the box all on its own, so wiring wouldn't be an issue. I am sure you could even rig up some steering wheel gear controls. Needless to say your car would be an absolute weapon when you do your final tune setup with an auto box .... very easy 11s I would think.

yep I'm keen depending on destination and duration. Fishing would be a definite big incentive for me!

Yes it is me, and I still have the pewter S15 (want to buy it? lol) .... yep things are good - the usual : work hard, play hard - we have just returned from a week in Singapore, I spent a week in New Zealand skiing in August, and we spent a month in the USA last September. Work is good, but busy and no kids on the horizon just yet (thank goodness) .... how about yourself? Did you sell the GTR?

yeah my R34 doesn't like it much either .... but is fine as long as the car is moving. But still, I am going to take off the stock crank fan, and put in a heavy duty thermo fan. I am also going to rig up some sort of fan on the air conditioner radiator/compressor. When my car gets too hot while idling, the air conditioner actually turns off (hot air comes out) - I assume due to some over-temp safety mechanism. If I get out and pour some water on the radiator and air conditioner condenser, the air conditioner fires straight back up and works a treat for a while - the car seems to run better for a while too. I am also going to rig up a big water misted to spray the radiator for really hot days like I had on my S15.

subscribe to the mailing lists at www.j-spec.com.au and www.prestigemotorsport.com.au ..... they both have cost calculators and have stock you can check the fob prices to get a guide. My R34 arrived in Adelaide 21 days after me paying for it (it came direct from Nagoya). It had to sit a further 3 weeks on the docks while the import approval was finalised. Compliance cost around $5k and took 8 weeks for mine (which is above average time frame). Remember to factor in the cost of replacing every single non-standard part for compliance.
