  1. ouch, that Tom's Hardware review bags it a few different ways .... $700?
  2. sorry mate, almost all 16" wheels won't come even close to fitting over any R34 front brakes (and probably all GTR brakes for that matter). Just to let people know ....
  3. sorry mate, these are new from Nissan Australia for $27 - I bought one a couple of weeks ago.
  4. did you hear my air-horn-blast drive-by your work this arvo around 2pm today Vange? Your beast was out the front.
  5. yep I'm keen, but not definite - have a few things on next weekend, so will see how I go. If I come I will definitely bring your springs Sean
  6. congrats on the delivery of your new baby Chapman!!! Can't wait to see it in the flesh!
  7. How do you rate the image quality of this screen? There is so much crap around lately. Can you see the screen image in daylight? A lot of the cheaper units around have nowhere near enough brighness or clarity. How well does the TV reception work? Is the DVD player multi-region? $400 plus postage if you get desperate.
  8. Just had a quick round with Joel before and ping was good.
  9. back in your box Joel .... yes, I actually will admit that I suck at BF2 .... but am keen to play in a true team environment - when I play on Node it really is every man for himself, so is much less fun and organised.
  10. welcome to SAU-SA .... where did you live in Darwin? I lived in Wagaman for a while, then in Woods Street in the city.
  11. yep I'm keen
  12. anyone? Someone with an R33GTR must want these?!
  13. R34GTT CAI box fits perfectly in my R34 and is a very high quality item - highly recommended and trustworthy seller!
  14. well I had them in my R34GTT, but they are too hard for my liking. But people have assured me they are interchangeable .... if you had help from soeone with expertise in setting up suspension, I am sure you could get them how you wanted them - as long as you are after a fairly stiff ride. Great coilovers either way, and most people say these are softer than Teins or similar.
  15. Mother's Day lunch for me too, so I'm out
  16. no all R34s don't have Xenons - mine doesn't. I have installed an aftermarket HID kit in my R34, which i had in my S15/200SX. They worked brilliantly in my S15, had a nice cut-off line and all was good. However, as WWWDOT pointed out, my standard R34 headlights are not projectors, so the HID light looks very bright from the front and there is no cut-off line. I am considering taking WWWDOT's advice and modifying my standard lights to include VX Calais projectors. I am very worried about getting defected for them, as even though I have pointed them way down at the road, they are still very bright from an oncoming car's perspective.
  17. Used, but in great condition R33GTR coilovers (will NOT suit R33GTS-t). I was told they have done around 40,000km. Are in excellent condition and work great. Fully height and damper adjustable. Can be rebuilt much later down the track if necessary. Bought them hoping they would suit my R34GTT, but they are too hard for my liking (and the weight distribution of the R34GTT is way different to the R33GTR for obvious reasons). Some info: here (click) $1,200 ono - located in Adelaide, but can ship if necessary. I think postage Aus wide would be around $100, but can quote if you give me your location. Awesome suspension upgrade! Height is adjustable by around 1 foot, and damper is adjustable from very soft to very hard, and everywhere inbetween. Includes an adjustment wrench.
  18. Nengun is an online retailer from Japan .... or just try Ebay
  19. Nightcrawler has no dirty thoughts in his head .... but mmmmm leggy number 5 ** drool **
  20. nah mate, taken with my Sony camera at crap resolution and both pics are zoomed in, so quality sucks

  22. hahaha saw you belting up after me from a distance to catch me Vange - damn your car looks nice! Spotted MXTCY without his car in Frome Road this arvo - good to catch up mate
  23. I got a JustJap kit for my R34 - awesome kit for the money (and fyi someone else is selling what look to be identical kits on Ebay now for $400) .... was an absolute bastard to fit - had to fabricate all of the mounts. Not an entirely hard job to do, but lots and lots and lots of mucking around. Not sure if the R32 kit will fit better or not? I didn't get ANY extra lag whatsoever, maybe you did something wrong bbe? That said, my R34 does still have the factory nylon impeller, which is supposed to be pretty much lag-free. But anyhow, the hard bits are: 1. the positioning of the hole you are going to cut under the battery (I bought a hole-saw but it was useless - wouldn't cut). Ended up drilling about 40 small holes in a cricle and punching the centre out - not a fun job. You just need to work out roughly where you think the hole needs to go and do it. Remember to fit the intercooler first, as that is the solid part you need to line the pipe up with. 2. positioning of the cooler is actually quite easy - you just need to sit it in a nice spot, then drill a hole that lines up near each mount point, then make a bracket to suit for each of the 4 points. 3. as for the bumper bar, fit the cooler and pipework completely up, then try to fit the front bar. Have a look where it hits the cooler, then mark a line on the inside of the bar where you need to cut. We used an angle grinder (careful of molten plastic on your legs!), but I would recommend a smalll ban saw or similar. 4. the pipework is a litle tricky to figure out - you need to use some of the stock pipework so don't pulll it all out. Good luck!
  24. very nice in the flesh guys - I am highly impressed!
