yep cancelled, as the whole complex is supposedly having an upgrade - electronic timing towers, resurface etc. No racing until at least October this year is the word, but may be none this year.

Do you know the power rating of the TO4e and how laggy it would be on a Neo RB25DET? I assume it bolts-on to standar oil lines etc. How much including internal gate and all accessories to bolt-on?

to remove the turbo timer from my R34 for compliance, they just cut all the wires at the back and tucked the wires under the dash trim. Went straight through Regency no probs. I guess it depends if you want to reinstall it or not. I guess you could do that and resolder the wires afterwards.

why are these T04Es so incredibly cheap compared to other turbos?

I know of a grey R34GTT that got defected a month or so ago - could have been him clearing the defect. Was only too low and too loud, so may have been him at Sturt.

yeah but you can get a bad board from any manufacturer - AMD or Intel. Must say most MSIs I have used have been ok, but have had a problem with one or two before.

sorry can't agree with you there Joel - this is my 4th AMD and they all have run perfect. Have had it 2 years and is an XP2500+ running at 2.2Ghz (ie. like a 3000+) no probs whatsoever. You HAVE TO HAVE decent cooling though.

sort of true, except what when you borrow say $10,000 to buy the car with say $100 per week repayments, then write it off the 2nd time you drive it due to slippery roads, than have to keep making $100 per week repayments and can't afford another car, so walk for 2 years. Don't insure if you don't mind walking everywhere

I had mine installed by John Phillips 0405 702 292 - he is based in the building next to Morpowa at Modbury North. He installed my whole alarm including all sorts of extra security and optional goodies all for the unbelievable price of $270.

under no circumstances should anyone ever drive without 3rd party property at the least, or preferably full comprehensive insurance. I strongly think the government should make it the law. If you have an accident things are always much worse if you don't have an insurance company doing the running around for you. Best option might be to try the 'Mum or Dad shared policy' where you might have to fib a bit and say they drive it 51% of the time. No matter what, it is just not worth not having insurance. Sorry but Azza's idea is nonsense - you never know when you are going to have an accident, and imagine how crap your life would be for many years if you ran up the back of someone tomorrow and wrote both cars off. I don't think you could comprehend the pain you would feel.

i have an r34 stock intercooler came of a 87,000km car near new cond. Awesome upgrade to the much smaller R33GTST stock Intercooler apparently. Pics are not of the actual item, but highlight the difference between the stock R33 and R34 intercoolers. Hi, what's the condition of the R34 bonnet? Paint perfect, any chips, any dents, paint faded? Any chance of finding out shipping to Northgate, South Australia, 5085? Does the black have a kind of pearl through it or the clear coat? Mine looks sightly different colours when seen at an angle in bright light.

I think what you saw was Munro's old R34GTR Vange - my old man said he saw it belting up Montague Road on Saturday afternoon. He said it came off Bridge Road sideways, kicked the back out a bit more on gear change, then absolutely caned it up Montague Road. Strange for a GTR to go sideways, but I would be he had a torque split controller and had the fronts off.

vange - did you see the rear of the blue R34? You sure it wasn't Trev's (from FBI) Cefiro with R34 front end conversion?

yeah I don't understand why they don't make an R34GTR/Bear style front bar and leave a cutout on the inside of the top of the bar for the GTT bonnet to close inside it. Can't be that hard.
