  1. Yep all the Nissan scissor jacks are nearly identical. I have an R33 one in my boot, and I cannot tell it apart from the oem V35 jack.
  2. Was a good cruise, and great to catch up with a lot of SAU peeps
  3. I am not sure who has the stickers - I currently have the SAU:SA merchandise bag, but there are no stickers in it I will try chase them up and bring some along tonight if possible.
  4. Sweet - we will have at least 3 x SAU 35s there
  5. ^^^ probably too hard to do that mate - there will be many, many hundreds of cars all over the place. I intend to just drive around the carpark a bit until I spot a friendly face (or one jumps out at/on me, as invariably happens).
  6. ^^^ depends on who is organising the cruise though - tomorrow night's BSM cruise will have something like 500+ cars at it, yet will be completely police friendly and they DO NOT pick on cars on the cruise unless you have very BLATANT illegal mods or are acting like a d!ckhead. You should come along! Melzi is coming.
  7. Yeah I keep all my stock parts and always have. But I don't drive like a dickhead, don't drive on bald tyres and keep my car pretty clean and tidy. Doesn't hurt that I am a bit older than your average Skyline driver .... also doesn't hurt that I am not out cruising the Bay or the City every Fri/Sat night, and don't hang out at known drift/meet spots - these are where quite a lot of defect occur.
  8. Yep, despite having owned a modified S15, R34 and now V35, I have NEVER been to Regency ..... you only go there if you get defected.
  9. skyline_house 1. Please advertise a price - this is a forum rule - this is not Ebay. 2. What are you doing posting in the SA 'for sale' thread? Please post in the general 'for sale' thread in future
  10. Took it off - for the small amount of time I ever use my window washers it was not worth the huge pita of rerouting power and water supply to a new spot.
  11. ^^^ That story sucks! Yes, generally speaking warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on. But also, as I have stated in various other threads - I haven't seen a genuine V35 on the Jp auctions sites with under 50,000km on it in the past 5 or so years at least .... the engine you thought had 24,000km on it probably had 124,000km on it at least - hence the blowing smoke, using oil and associated problems .... but that said I have had my V35 for 67,000km now (had 48k on the odo when I got it and now has 115k), and I give mine a pretty hard time (including track days) and mine still blows little to no smoke, only uses a tiny bit of oil, and runs perfectly. God only knows how many actual km my car has on it (I suspect it had about 100k on it when I bought it - not 48k as per the odo). I have replaced the failed ball-joints, lower control arm bushes and all rotors, so I suspect well over 150k.
  12. I have an oil cooler - but it is tucked up nice and neatly behind the front bar on the drivers side (had to lose my window washer bottle though).
  13. Hi Fred, forum rules say you must state a price please.
  14. Nope - have a look at the inserts/moulding around the lower 'nostrils'. Unless they are add-ons to the oem bar?
  15. ^^^ well that is a NISMO front bar .... but the lip doesn't jut out anywhere near as much as the normal NISMO lip does.
  16. Are you SURE there is such a thing as an OEM one?
  17. I do like how you said "the car had just 40k on clock when bought." .... I haven't seen a V35 go through the Jp auctions with 40k on it since about 2005, yet you can find them all along Parramatta Road and other similar places with these sort of km on them. Truth be told for under $100 a guy can come out and make your odo say whatever you want. Just sayin'.
  18. Is this the lip the OP is looking for? Pretty sure this is what I have. http://conceptautomotive.net/product.php?productid=18299
  19. ^^ further to the Smokey, did they steal many things or are there other things that are covered by insurance too? What I am getting at, is that if their cost to repair/replace what was lost is not a whole lot more than $550, then you are pretty insane for claiming in the first place, as you will now suffer higher insurance premiums for many years into the future due to having a claim on your record (despite the fact it is clearly not your fault). Sure, it sounds like your situation sucks, but you always have the option of finding your own parts and somewhat helping your situation yourself, as mentioned above.
  20. So if you have your cruise control hooked up to a cruise control unit, you are stuffed too? Can't you just put in a switch of sorts?
  21. ^^^ very noice! I haven't met Melzi in person yet ... but apparently will be at the BSM cruise on Sat night - are you coming too?
  22. ^^^ so true. Who on earth go would and sit by the side of the road in one spot to see a pack of cyclists whiz past you, and that is it? Sounds like the definition of boredom to me. And 757k? That is more than half the population of SA - I don't know a single person who went for a look, so by those odds I would say very incorrect. And how on earth would they even come up with that number?
  23. LOL I should probably read the topic title too.
  24. Yep I will be there with Jenkies as passenger
  25. Nah mate, you CAN'T separate the a/c board from the stereo - it is all one piece. Apparently it has been achieved before, but you literally need to cut the circuit board, reroute circuitry tracks, and all sorts - and the success rate is extremely small, even for expert circuit board builders. You need to source a stand alone a/c controller like the one that comes with the dual din kit. Do you have a series 1 or 2? http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-NISSAN-INFINITI-DUAL-ZONE-A-C-CONTROLLER-G35-2005-2007-/170949933521?pt=US_Car_Audio_Video_Dashboard_Installation_Kits&hash=item27cd68f9d1&vxp=mtr
