Maybe when you join a new forum : 1). The reason for joining up should not just be to flog your items ... this is a Skyline community - not the trading post. 2). Read the FAQs and adhere to them. So, to sum up, list EACH of your parts for sale individually and list a PRICE for each item. How can you not have 2 minutes to set up your own account? Sounds a bit weak if you ask me. And you can't be surprised when you come on here as a new user, don't follow the rules, don't post pictures or any prices, come on here 'for a mate' (but then later say it is your own account), advertise parts from cars yet don't disclose particular details on the cars nor the parts (and if the cars/parts were hot, is this not the EXACT way you would go about trying to offload the parts???). And even now you haven't answered people's questions above on the cars colours and specs.

Why are you advertising for a friend (which is against forum rules). Why didn't your friend register on SAU and advertise his own stuff. I agree, this sounds dodgy as. Do you have proof of ownership of these cars and parts?

Yeah no problems, just thought I would bring it to your attention. More than anything we need to protect the interests of paid traders on SAU - there are a number of unscrupulous people who do try flout the rules or are just not aware. It's al good as long as you stay within guidelines. EOI threads like this are skirting the rules, but like I said I will let this one fly

The easier (and cheaper) option is to go to town with polish on the front - makes bugs come off easy as. Also a product called FW1 over whatever polish you normally use makes the paint surface like teflon and prevents bugs from sticking.

Just buy some clear 3M vinyl wrap and put it on. Car bras suck, as the dirt/stuff that gets under them rubs and can easily/quickly damage the very paint you are wanting to protect.

^^^ I agree. I wasn't very interested in the kit until I went for a ride in a V35 with the kit - now it is next on my list!

Yeah I agree - it will be spot on with the spacers ... and no I have never been picked on by cops - despite my front and rear bars hanging near the ground, HID/angel eye headlights, tinted rear lights, loud exhaust ... really my car should be a cop magnet, but I have never had ANY attention (touch wood). They don't even look at V35s here - they are too busy on the prowl for R33/R34s - you get anally reamed driving within 10km of the city any Friday or Saturday night if you own any import other than an R35/V35

Not sure tbh. Obviously in that pic the car is heavily jacked up at the front. I am running SPC rear camber arms and my mechanic set it all up for me. Drives like it is on rails! I can take roundabouts at 60km/h no problems and I track it out at Mallala with good success (only 4 seconds slower than some guys in R33GTRs). Yet it is comfortable enough to be my work car/daily - even with 265/35/18s on 18"x10 +12 rims on the back

^^^ you are 100% correct - our cars underbody/exhaust hang stupidly low relative to the height of the bumpers and the eyebrow heights. Hence why I have gone from stock -> coilovers -> Eibach super lows and am now going to go back to Z33 springs. Having it nice and low at the back does allow you to tuck stupidly wide offset wheels though

Yeah but custom is complete shit. A big company like Exoticpeed/HKS/Apexi etc make literally hundreds of different exhaust with bends in different places, different cats/collectors/resonators/mufflers etc etc in their R&D to gain the best power levels at the best RPM and lowest Db. How could Joe Blow working out of a shed fabricate an exhaust that even remotely competes? You are not comparing apples with apples.

I am considering my next upgrade to be either a V36 or a Skyline Crossover. I know there is not a lot of love for the Crossover in the Skyline community, but I think they are freaking awesome and tick a lot of boxes for me - especially since I am well over my boy racer stage (I have owned a 200rwkw S15 and a 230rwkw R34) and the extra boot space suits me (for camping trips etc), high clearance, 4wd (I would buy the FOUR version), insane amount of cameras, self-healing paint, following cruise control/lane adherence alarms, etc etc. A black one with 20" rims, exhaust, ECU edit and on bags would make for a decent 260kw (flywheel) package with a bit of stance and a LOT of luxury ..... I know there will be a lot of haters out there, but each to their own imho.
