  1. Is it left hand drive? The clock can be added and the steering wheel changed easy enough. I am quite certain that under RAWS G35s in any form cannot be imported. Unless it is a convertible out of Europe - there are a few of those floating around - pretty sure they only started making those in 2009 though.
  2. What makes you think your car is a USDM G35? I assume you have a V36 and someone has put Infiniti badges on it. You cannot import G35s into Australia, and they are all LHD.
  3. You have mucked up the fundamentals - a 2007 V36 sedan = a 2008 G37 sedan in the USA.
  4. Did the Ebay buyer go through with the sale, or are the XD9s still available?
  5. Yeah mate I am still gathering interest. Since I am not making any $$ out of it, I really need to get most of the sets committed before I buy them all. The other way I could do it is to mark them up a bit to say $100 delivered per pair, get pre-payments from 6 people and I can carry the rest of the risk/cost. What do the interested parties think? That would get it happening HEAPS faster.
  6. Yes, in case you didn't figure it out from the above posts, lights are not linked to model numbers, but rather model series. The lights you like are Series 2 - so ANY series 2 lights will fit your car. Be aware though - if you buy a set of the USA they will have no orange on them for the indicator lenses and as such are technically illegal here in Aus.
  7. This is the stance you want on a 33GTR! http://www.stancenation.com/2010/12/17/r33-gtr-x-new-zealand/
  8. If only they were bronze I would take them off your hands
  9. You probably don't care, but be aware that spacers of any variety are defectable/illegal, and if you have an accident with them fitted you may have your insurance voided.
  10. Yes G35/V35/350Z are identical in terms of Brembo brakes. From memory there are 4 lines. I bought StopTech braided lines and they are good. Not sure if they are ADR though - but they do have whip test stickers/high quality ends - is a cop really going to pull you up on this? But I guess if you ever got defected it matters.
  11. Looks like a fair bit of camber there - I reckon that is your problem. Get a spirit level and hold it vertically against the bottom of the rim and see how far in the top if tilted.
  12. I have 18 x 10" +12 with 265/35s on the back of the V35 if you want to bring your car over and chuck them on yours for a comparo. I am in Northgate.
  13. ^^^ Pretty cool I suppose, but I really don't get it .... surely there are better ways to waste your time .... when I am in Melbourne I always see all the guys down at Southbank 'practising', but most of the time they just look like tools imho.
  14. Sorry mate, but you are $5k plus too high. The market is truly awful atm and as you would realise there are plenty of coupes with similar km selling for under $20k, and there is always a $5kish gap between coupes and sedans. The highest $$ sedan on Ebay is $16k, the cheapest $12,600.
  15. Yes, replace the factory amp. I left my new JVC head unit (which has a 55w rms amp built-in) running the back/side 4 speakers, then ran rca's from the new head unit to my amp in the boot, then ran speaker wires for my new Soundstream/Tarantula front splits to run off off the new amp, with the 3rd/4th channels bridged to a 10" sub in the boot. You are welcome to come have a look anytime Sam - just don't pull me over for a look at it if you see me out and about - you will give me a heart attack!
  16. Sorry Ahhhbeee I got roped into looking after the kids tonight so couldn't make it. Are you coming to the dinner on Wednesday night? I will have with me then.
  17. And I am quite sure that Chris will tell you not to fit this unit to a V36 as you might fry the whole electrics .... canbus is a bitch to play with
  18. The CVT gearbox is about $1k and genuine Nissan oil from Nissan is the only way to go. DO NOT service the CVT yourself, unless you are extremely mechanically competent, but sadly there ar eonly a handful of workshops in Australia with any idea about the CVT gearbox at all. Sadly I think the guy was pulling your leg about a loose ground wire - and if it was that easy to fix, why didn't he fix it before he sold you the car? The high beam/fog lamp is a H4 dual filament. You will never find a high beam light anywhere near the whiteness or intensity of your low beams, as the low beams are HID. The closest you will find is the Phillips X-Treme Vision, but even they are yellow in comparison to your HIDs. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-x-PAIR-Philips-H4-Headlight-Globes-X-treme-Vision-100-Brightest-Upgrade-EVER-/140747389599?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20c532ba9f Your bible of all things V35 sedan is here: http://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v35-2003-06-15/ Every single thing in the world you could ever think of has been covered in the G35 forums!
  19. Wow, sounds freaking awesome!
  20. PLEASE do a SEARCH before you post a new topic. IT IS FORUM RULES. If you spent literally 5 seconds doing a search for "headlights" in the V35 section you would find MANY threads on the topic, including a group buy that was recently completed by 12 SAU members. But the short answer is NO, you cannot fit USA lights to our cars, as they have the light cutoff on the wrong side/angle, and you will BLIND oncoming traffic. The first cop that sees you with these lights and is blinded by them will defect you.
  21. Go the SPC rear camber arms - I have them and cannot fault them. There is a current thread in the V35 section about them.
  22. For the money, even if it gave you 0.5kw power increase (due to less power loss through the gearbox for whatever reason) or smoother shifts/response, then it is worth it - hence why I put mine on
