Aftermarket Headlights
Nightcrawler replied to Jayce23's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Yep I emailed Jesse last night and he will email invoices to each pair/single soon - only for the cost of the lights initially. Then when he boxes them up and weighs them he will give us postage quotes and we can pay the rest. Can everyone please pay AS SOON as they get their invoice. I am off on holidays to Melb for the Easter weekend, but will have my laptop with me, so will try to keep an eye on things. -
Now there are so many V35 owners in SA on here we should get another SA V35 meet organised! Last one we had about 8 V35s from memory.

40-50mm is way too much if you drive in Adelaide - that is about how much I am lowered and I hate it - I am going to raise mine up again as my aftermarket front bar and exhaust components both scrape on everything. If your car is stock you might be ok though. Also keep in mind that if you drop it that much you will definitely need rear camber arms, as there is not much camber adjustment in the rear of the V35s. You are on the right track with finding some 350Z springs IMHO - I am on the hunt for some as well. Did you know we have a Skyline club in Adelaide? www.sausa.com.au

Is it a CVT gearbox? If so, the repair could cost more than your car is worth

GT-Ricer , listen to the good people and post up a price for each item. Forum rules are not there just for fun, they are to be FOLLOWED. Why do you feel you are too good to follow the rules? Next stop is an official warning on your profile and thread deletion. Just post up a price. -

Replacing Disc Rotors
Nightcrawler replied to reverseworm's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
It is a piece of cake. A few tips: - if you brake fluid is very full in the reservoir, remove some, as when you squeeze open the brake pads to put on the new/wider disks, fluid gets forced back into the reservior and will overflow if it is too full (I did this when I recently changed pads). - open the brake bleed nipples to make squeezing the pads open easier, but once disks are fitted you should bleed them again anyway. - buy braided brake lines (cheap = $200-$300) and put them on while you have it all apart. -

I have had positive confirmation from : - myself & Heretical - thinktea & 81gsky - GSX RRRR - KOLOSSUS - manc01 & Dog with Bone - Interfooler & Mayo_85 - Dreadnought So we have 11 on that list - with bigr33gtst and Runner4life still confirm, and I am not 100% sure who jericoj.villanueva@ is and whether he 100% wants in or not - can that individual please respond ASAP or you are gontg to miss out. I have sent a PM to bigr33gtst and Runner4life and hopefullly they confirm 100% asap and the ball is then rolling. Andrew -

How Often Do You Guys Scrape?
Nightcrawler replied to Marshan's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
My Kinteix hfcs come down from the engine at a more extreme angle (to give them clearance from the car body), so the rear of the Y-pipe sits much lower than oem and is literally 5cm off the ground. I scrape the join on EVERY speed hump I go over. Then I put on a custom made 3" mid pipe that was way too loud, so put a resonator on it, then that hit everything as well - ended up tearing open the rear of the resonator when the car bottomed out on a bumpy road at 110km/h. So I had to put the oem one back on - it is actually almost triangular-shaped so the bottom of it doesn't hit the ground over bumps! I used to sit 1 inch lower, but have raised the car up due to physically getting the car STUCK on things! One tim eI had to get 3 nearby guys to hold the rear of the car down so the wheels touched the ground so I could power off a footpath/driveway join! So now the gap between my tyres and guards is nearly 5cm and I STILL scrape on everything (I do have a lower aftermarket front bar admittedly). -

You know as much as anyone else from the info in this thread. No, it would seem no-one is interested/available to pair with you. As I explained previously, if you don't have a pairing, email Jesse directly, let him know what you want and where you are located, and he will give you a quote. So far we have only seen a slight increase in price for singles - around $20-$30 more. So in a product where you are saving $120 or so, it is still a great deal. Jesse did say too, that the sedan lights are cheaper. Payment is due in the next few days, assuming we get the final numbers responded to Jesse and it is all sorted. Can each pair make sure that one person transfers the $$ to the other, as when we get the final go-ahead one of each pair is to transfer the $$ to Jesse (obviously non-paired people just transfer their own $$). I already have the $500 from Heretical, so our pair is ready to go. -

I have already sent Jesse a list of eveyone's car type and light colour preference. Looks like we have no 100% confirmed sedans in the buy. -

Cmon DO IT GSX - we need you buddy - we need to buy 12 units, and we have 11 accounted for. -
^^^ and sadly powersliding is NOT drifting. It's like nearly every Yank Youtube video about 'drifting' - none of them clutch kick or handbrake - they are only powersliding.

Just be a little bit patient guys - being impatient (and or having a hissy fit and cancelling your order like some on here have done already have - if it wasn't for them the deal would already be done) will get us nowhere. It will all come together. -

Nightcrawler replied to Jayce23's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Welcome to the group buy ... prices, product website link etc are listed above. Please email Jeese Streeter [email protected] (our contact in Japan who we are getting the deal through), and let him know you and your cuz are in, and get a quote for 2 sets delivered via your preferred shipping method. Yep install looks like a piece of piss, and as far as we can tell it utilises factory plugs. Only slight caveat is that you need to have your oem HIDs and ballast still fitted (if your headlights are VERY white - especially when compared with your high beams, you have HIDs). Otherwise you will need to make basic modifications to the new lights to fit halogens. Either way, an easy fix. -

And yes Paul, you CAN still go on the list - this group buy has not closed as such until we actually pay Jesse and make the order up.
