I don't dare take my V35 to any mechanic - I do it all myself and yes, Nissan are plain old bad sports when it comes to servicing our grey imports - despite our cars being almost identical to the 350Z! And I have heard good things about this SAU:SA club :ninja: Welcome to SAU!

I had already sold all my tickets, but thanks Ben. I saw Luke there today with some of the SAU lads, so he found a ticket somewhere! I chucked the tickets on Gumtree (which I had never used before) ... had 3 buyers buy 4 tickets, (then 4 more calls after I had sold all the tickets), and only 2 people mildly jack me around, so pretty good result really.

I would let mine go for $25,000

Putting 22" rims on a V35 is just silly .... with the super low profile tyres you would need it would make the car the hardest ride in the world.

Did it have carbon fibre front and rear bars?

It's not like this is a business venture, and it's not like there are local suppliers here we are doing out of income .... so I say it is completely legit as well.

Don't do it in one shipment - send them in batches of 2 or 3, so the value is under $1,000, then we don't have to pay any duties! Surely we can make groups of 2 or 3 members that want these that live reasonably close to each other (or if not could forward a set on via post within the same state at a cheap price) - that way you could ship 2 or 3 units to a persons address in each state, and avoid duties altogether!

Did you notice a power increase with this? What rwkw were you making before you spun a bearing?

I worked out the price on the coupe headlights delivered through import monster comes to around $600 .... much more expensive than their US counterparts ... I hope we can get them in the group buy SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than that! FYI Shiva I am only keen at around or under $400 delivered, as the headlights are actually way down my list of $$ to spend on the V35.

Won't make Thursday at all since so much work has come up, but will be heading in Friday just after lunch with Tyler in-tow. Will be there Sat and Sun, but as we have found before it is pretty useless to get around or see the fashion show on Sat/Sun. We will definitely catch one Friday arvo .... and I like how you call it a fashion show, rather than what it really is - swimsuit soft porn :D

Yep, as mentioned I will be there .... I put the 5 spare tickets we had on Gumtree (since David is in China for work, Chops & Nicky moved away, Bronwyn is due with her 3rd child on 10th March, and we had one spare) and they sold in a snap - I could have sold them 3 times over! Weather is going to be perfect too - hopefully there is some rain Sat/Sun to make the racing interesting! And they have Coopers beer this year (instead of that camel piss XXXX). This year is going to be good, but roll on next year with the Nissans I say!

9. Shadow chrome if available, otherwise normal chrome. Also can we make sure they are CCFL halos, and if possible can we get clear indicator lenses (with an orange bulb)?

No you can't use the stock buttons, as the climate controls are physically on the same board as the stereo. Remove one, you remove them both. DO NOT both with any other unit than oem. Rubber buttons look crap, feel crap and apparently don't work for long.
