Haha awesome! Not as good as the drifting vid in which the chick actually has her cans out, but close

hahaha classics ... nice work Damo as always!

I sort of understand your commentary and links, but fact is I have been with FB for years and have never felt any variety or targeted marketing or anything - yet my profile, pictures and everything I do is quite public. I have none of the privacy settings turned down. So I don't understand exactly what you have to lose, and surely by connecting with friends/family/groups you have lots to gain? Just my 2c

We actually have SIGNIFICANTLY more people on our facebook page than check the members forums. Problem is we have a core group of about 30 people who check the forums and are very active in the club - the remaining people either don't check the forums regularly and/or don't even remember their SAU usernames. We have probably 30 people in this category who don't come to events as they were not forum users (joined the club at a marketing event or similar), and really have no idea how to connect with the club. I can't believe we are being knocked for trying to connect with our members better. Frustrating. The rest of the world LOVES FB - I am not sure why the resistance to it - as it is a brilliant media in which to share and connect with others. Your profile is only as public as you CHOOSE it to be - there is lots of misinformation around though unfortunately. Either way, this week I will also be starting a member email out to try to connect further with our members.

Because the Red Cross capsules have been proven to be the absolute safest option for a baby. Imagine having an accident and the child dies due to an insufficiently protective baby seat .... there are no words for how bad one would feel
-
^^^ If you Paypal'd your membership tonight you would be an SAU:SA Member and have access to the Members only forums by tomorrow. That means you could attend our Xmas dinner, have access to our exclusive calendar at a special members price, and I am sure since you are a new member we could even chuck you a free hat, lanyard and sticker at the dinner if you are lucky!
-
^^^ yeah welcome to the forusm Juzzy, but please leave the big pics out of your sig (I have helped you out with that) ... thanks.
-
Yeah man they struggle to fit in a 4wd. Go to a Red Cross or baby shop and measure the depth a rear facing newborn capsule is. Then go measure your back seat depth with the front seats in their normal position. I guarantee you it is not even close to a fit.
-
^^^ just be aware that a rear facing baby capsule will NEVER fit in the back of a V35 coupe - so you will need another car exclusively for the bubs until it is 6+ months old and it can go into a forward facing seat.
-
Sorry to say it but, around $15k would be my guess. There are plenty around cheaper than that, but black on black is the most popular colour. With plenty of V35 coupes around asking $20k, there always needs to be a decent gap between the coupe and sedan. As for selling, put it in as many media as possible and go sit it on a main road in a very visible spot, with the price on the windscreen . So many people have no idea what our cars are or what they are worth - I would suggest the roadside ad is your best bet. Sit with the car for an afternoon even and talk to people who stop and look. You can't truly appreciate how cool V35s until you sit in one or drive one - the hard part is getting someone in the door (so to speak).

I bought Skyyrim and BF3 at the same time last week - haven't even launched BF3 yet, Skyrim is THAT good ....

Coilovers Or Lowering Springs.
Nightcrawler replied to Howaitonaito's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
The secret is in the pics in my sig ^^^^ .... but yeah, it is a coupe. -
Yeah mate I have one you can borrow with sockets .... come pick it up tomorrow afternoon and you can bring back my Wax Attack
-
Yeah I assume that Andrew can do it Cosi. Or, my brother-in-law got Steve Cramp from Manta to do it for him, but I assume Steve removed the pipes and outsourced it - maybe give him a call to see if he does it himself or can tell you who does?
-
Even better, pull the whole lot off and get someone to bell-end all of the metal pipe ends - that way the clamps have something to bite onto and will NEVER come off.

Coilovers Or Lowering Springs.
Nightcrawler replied to Howaitonaito's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
My opinion is that the stock springs are hard enough. Every sort of coilover I have seen in a V35 makes them hard as hell and they lose that nice driveability. I bought marginally harder and lowere Eibach springs, and new KYB shocks, combined with adjustable Godspeed sway bars. I think the daily comfort is good (I do 25,000km a year and use it as my work car), and the car also handles well on the track (I did a 1:49 around Wakefield the other week, and 1:28 around Mallala last week). -
Nah mate I am not going. If it wasn't all the way down at freaking Noarlunga I would go for a look, but alas it is.
-
Yep, you have blown in intercooler hose off. I hope for you sake it is not the one behind the bumper bar on the passenger's side (which is the most common one) - you have to take off the whole undertray and ducting to get at it - it is a royal pain in the a$$. Start the car (you might have to get someone to rev the car at 1,000rpm for it not to stall) and stick your ear in the engine bay and listen for a hissing or sucking sound to track down where your leak is.

I've got a spare 9.5 +20 with 235/40/18 tyre sitting here, NE suburbs also

I don't think I have forcedmy beliefs on anyone. I have merely stated what I believe, and left it at that. Am I pressuring anyone to come to church with me? Read the bible with me? Change their ways due to my beliefs? No. People can (and will) do whatever the heck they want. I was just pointing out what I believe will happen to you when you die. If that makes you uncomfortable, the that is not my problem, and maybe you should think about the fact that the world is going to hell (pardon the pun) and that is strongly correlating with the decrease of participation in organised reliigion. Something to think about. (Obviously I am not talking about the rise of middle-eastern religious extremists, who obviously are all going to hell no matter what).

2003 V35 Premium/sport/manual - For Sale
Nightcrawler replied to Unique's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Good luck with the sale - it is sad to see how these have devalued .... but out of interest, I thought that premium pack had pop-up tv? -
LOL, that is putting it mildly. Yes I have seen the movie, and I have also seen other Michael Moore pieces of trash. To put them as 'failry one sided' is not fair to one sided men It is a load of shit.

Damo is right - it is an argument that can't be won. But regarding the earth's age - number one fact is that carbon dating has now been found to be completely unreliable. But more importantly; don't you think that a deity capable of creating the Earth and mankind can put fossils (and whatever the heck he likes) in the ground and make them seem any age? Maybe he did it to test people's faith. Maybe he did it so we would have a fuel source. There are millions of maybes. Fact is that I believe in a higher power, and that those who don't will be summarily dealt with - either at their death or on judement day. If I were a non-believer I would hope that judgement day is not too far off! And I understand that there are plenty of loonies that preach in the name of all sorts of deities (read: scientologists), and it is easy to discredit religion if that is your aim. Fact is, if you haven't been baptised (and I am guessing that most of you haven't been), then you are controlled by the devil anyhow. It is amazing what he makes people say, believe and do. Believe it or not, it makes no difference to me. My belief: I live and will die a Christian, and will be going to heaven. Those who don't will live eternity in hellfire. Fullstop.
-
^^^ you need to take those issues up with the devil. And you will find that the VAST majority of people born with disabilities are born to parents with addictions or bad practices during pregnancy. Fact. Humans are inherenlty evil and bring it on themselves. Again, the devil.
