  1. Yep Ash, awesome to finally meet youself and Christian!!!! Totally awesome weekend and I am trashed now - got home about 2 hours ago and am ready for bed. Can't wait for a much bigger and better event next year - it is going to be even better again!!!
  2. Those are amazing gifs Pete!!!!
  3. haha at least Steve knows his shit .... not all gifs are animated Mr Hellslow .... right click, save as and you will see
  4. I know these aren't all gifs, but imho qualify as funny shit worth checking out ..... and most of them are VERY true
  5. David is excited to have you trailering his R33 over there Matty .... and I am excited knowing if I (or someone else) seriously breaks something at Winton we have an affordable way of getting the car home :D
  6. ^^^ FFS, listen to what we keep telling you, YES, YOUR STEERING IS F$#%^ED - take your car to a mechanic. As I already said, I have wider tyres than you, wider rims than you, and my steering is still quite light. You CLEARLY have something wrong. Why have you not taken your car to a mechanic yet??????
  7. ^^^ Don't kid yourself - ANY modification you make to a car is technically against ADRs, as it hasn't had crash testing and ADR approval .... even engineers certificates are not worth the toner they are printed with here in SA - cops will defect you anyway, as they have no way of verifying if exactly what is engineered is what they are actually looking at.
  8. The story would have been made significantly better if the driver of the stolen car needed his legs amputated to get him out. And I mean that 100%.
  9. ^^^ awesome, but where's the dish?
  10. To be honest I didn't notice any benefit in fitting the mid-pipe, but I did many things at the same time (which gave an overall benefit). Keep in mind too that the pipe from the axle-back section into my rear muffler is definitely 2.5", so that is the restrictive part. But I am more than happy with it, and made 175rwkw on a VERY conservative Mainline dyno. And my V35 is an auto. And it is untuned as yet. So the answer is, just keep your setup with the 2.5" in place - you really don't need 3" on a non-turbo car imho.
  11. Well 42psi is actually WAY too much. You should be running about 35psi. That should be making your steering easier. I am running 245s up front on 9.5" rims (so wider tyres and wider offset), so my steering should be heavier than yours. But mine is fine. So you definitely have something wrong. Depends what you are comparing it too as well. The steering in my old S15 was definitely lighter than the V35, but it was a much lighter car too. As I said, get a mechanic to look at it.
  12. Your tyres and wheel alignment are the next things to check. Also, believe it or not your tyre pressure. If your tyre pressure is too low your steering can become much heavier. Also, your car may have done SIGNIFICANTLY more km than the odo reads (there is a guy in Sydney who can change your odo to read whatever km you want for $100) .... so things like your steering rack and all associated bushes and links may be worn and need replacing. Best bet would be to take it to a decent Nissan mechanic - or indeed a Nissan dealer, describe the problem and get them to troubleshoot it.
  13. Looks awesome Josh! Who did it for you and how much?
  14. What do you think? I named my 2nd born after her
  15. Wow, just wow. Where to even start. That has got to be one of the stupidest things I have ever heard. I am willing to bet that either the mechanic there is completely retarded, or there is some language barrier here when you completely misunderstood what he said/meant. Quoted in my sig again for truth LULZ.
  16. Quoted for truth in my sig - that one is a keeper :D
  17. ^^ I am sticking to my original thought that it must be school holidays, and someone is bored and making up stories about owning a V35.
  18. Evos are just crap. If you want a car to take to the track and get awesome times, then buy an Evo (if you don't mind being called a big girl's blouse by every full blooded male who sees you in it). If you want a car you will enjoy driving and have people respect you, then keep the V I too am COMPLETELY underwhelmed by Evos. A mate rocked up to my place with a 300km old Evo 9 a few years back to show off. I took it for a 10 minute blast and was so bored driving it I nearly fell asleep. And they look so crap imho.
  19. Wow is it school holidays already? This can't be a serious question, surely.
  20. Forever (well the life of the machine anyhow). If it's your only one and you want to keep a spare then keep it Steve. I was just hoping someone had a ton of them laying about, like I used to. I can get one for $8 delivered off Habibay, but don't really want to wait. I have now stolen one off another machine sitting here which has now got me out of trouble, but still need one to go back on the other machine now. Anyone?
  21. Does anyone have a brand new Intel socket 775 CPU cooler laying about that I can have? I used to have somes of them laying about from when I had built machines and put on aftermarket cooling, but I chucked them out a while back in a cleanup I need one asap.
  22. Oh and Ash, when I did my online rego I neglected to fill out and pay for the s'n's and merchandise pack - I assume it is ok for me to deal with this when I get to Vic in Oct?
  23. ^^^ plus it is the SAU:SA club tow bitch - has gotten MANY of us out of trouble - day and night. Matty is a true champ in that regard - he often brings and shows it in club displays at various car shows - some of the country shows it gets more attention than our magnificent machines :puke: .... and one show in particular a cop walked straight past a host of highly modified Skylines to pull Matty aside and take him to task over the illegality of his various spotlights, aerials, side steps and other toys .... believe it or not!
