  1. Has your car got any other indication it is a 70th anniversary? I have never seen one without seat heaters.
  2. - Access to the SAU:SA Members forums including Members only classifieds forum - Ability to come to club events (some events we open to the general SAU public after a certain period, but being a member you get first dibs) ie. Free Xmas lunch (was last weekend), dyno days (the last one was only $25 for members), track days (some are members only), future possible drag racing/drift/motorkhana events, paintballing early in the New Year, cruise very early in the New Year - CAMS affiliation (cheaper licensing and ability to get certain licences you cannot get without being member of a CAMS affiliated club) - Ability to buy a club shirt and club stickers to identify yourself as one of the "cool people" - Discounts at club sponsors (which are many, and most discounts are at least 10% off) - Able to attend/represent the Club at shows I am sure there are other good reasons
  3. I super love all of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series to date (bugs and all) .... roll on Stalker 2 I say. Have been playing Fallout: New Vegas a heap lately, but am nearly out of side missions - might have to go do the big Hoover Dam battle soon and end the game
  4. I will put in an appearance with the little guy in tow (wife has a girls thing on) .... anyone else going?
  5. Welcome to the forums Dean. You should join up with the Skylines Australia SA club now you are a Skyline owner Looks good mate - and a 70th anniversary edition too, by the looks of it (full leather and seat heaters) .... huge shame they only did them in the willow interior - if they had done the full leather in black I would have sourced one of those for sure. And yours has a double din kit already installed, so you can chuck whatever stereo in it you like.
  6. Cmon guys it is COMPULSORY TO POST PRICES .... any future fs posts without prices will be promptly deleted.
  7. Where did you get the 06 tail lights from and how much? Plug and play? Scarecrow is your V35 a slate blue one and you bought it from Adelaide?
  8. ewwww Willow interior is pure aids - especially when the black interior is just so porn. Ooooh but it's a series 2 - nice. Still the black interior is awesome.
  9. It's my understanding that they were made in America from all the research I have done. Little things like the ECU loom/wire colours are slightly different, and things like that make it extremely unlikely that they came out of the same factory. There are lots of little things other than that, but none come to mind right now. Sadly the USA-made Bulldog/Cobb OBDII plug-in tuners don't work on V35s due to the wiring discrepancies
  10. ^^^ nice cars, but why would you bother importing them with that gross cream coloured non-leather interior? Those guys are crazy when you can get them in black leather with black dash that look 1,000,000 times better imho.
  11. ^^^ yeah that is the V37 Steve - VERY similar to the V36 sedan that can already be imported here for between $35k and $60k landed depending on year, colour and spec. I believe the V37s will be available for compliance here soon too. Awesome cars!
  12. Ducati02 on here does English sticker kits for them and in fact can do the software translation of the pop up tv/nav if you have one.
  13. ^^^ lol incorrect Troy - G35s were made in America, but V35 Skylines were made in Japan. Same car but different car if you get what I mean
  14. No, it is not based purely on price ....
  15. Adrian is the only one making that sort of power on a standard bottom end .... and how long till it goes boom? (mind you his only survives cos 1. he is a great tuner and 2. he can touch-up tune it whenever it suits him - unlike the rest of us). The engines are just not designed to hold that sort of power .... the RB26 however is a different kettle of fish Plus to make that sort of power on an RB25 you have a lag monster on your hands .... unlike an XR6 with 350rwkw that pushes significantly more exhaust gas.
  16. With an un-forged bottom end your engine will not last terribly long at 300rwkw fyi.
  17. ^^^ you might have a LOT more success in the 'For Sale' thread, rather than the 'Wanted to Buy' thread champ. And as per forum rules you HAVE to post a price.
  18. She made 148.6rwkw at Extreme Horsepower on a Mainline dyno (so 160rwkw on a DynoDynamics). A stock R34 should make about 130-140rwkw. My stock ADM S15 only made 114rwkw!
  19. ^^ better plan on some camber arms too if you are going to run it that low ....
  20. They are bloody awesome cars and half the price of competitor cars with the same level of performance/reliability/luxury. Drive one and you will know whether you want one or not. Every mod you can think of out of the USA and they are CHEAP .... only the postage is a bit exxy, but still works out pretty cheap. Obviously being non-turbo there is a limit to how much power you can draw out of them without going FI, but the power is pretty good standard imho.
  21. Please post an asking price, as per forum rules.
  22. Yeah I also have an R33 turbo radiator sitting in the shed ... located in Northgate
  23. Yep sounds like a good plan then mate.
  24. Bad news I'm afraid Aaron. Within days I accidentally knocked out one of the raid drive cables unknowingly while messing with another drive and it screwed up my array. So I spat it and am back to running Win7 on one 64Gb SSD and programs/some games off my other 64Gb SSD. I WAS using a software onboard controller, hence the failed array when something tiny changed .... over a few brews at Renmark on the weekend Dohmar and jrm assured me that software raid is absolute shite and a hardware controller is the only way to go. Had I realised what was going to happen I would have bought a 500Gb Seagate Hybrid drive and run all my Win7, program files and games off it. With 8Gb of system ram and the 8Gb SSD (in the Hybrid drive - with adaptive technology) I get the distinct impression that the vast majority of the time it would be as fast as my existing SSDs. http://www.seagate.com/www/en-au/products/laptops/laptop-hdd My brother-in-law software raided 2 of the Momentus XTs in RAID1 and says it is the bomb. So now he has excellent performance and redundancy. IMHO that is the way to go.
  25. Bah I was never having a go at Martin - you know me better than that Pete .... and you know he not only tunes my cars, but is a great fella to have a beer or 10 with
