  1. .... and I have been working on them - putting the wife to shame every day
  2. Like this? (excuse the IPhone fail pics)
  3. It changed to a cross eyed smiley-face when I last updated, but is back to your "Wrecks" now
  4. You don't have to do a new post for your avatar to update fyi - just go find one of your old threads/posts - they all update.
  5. It actually looked SIGNIFICANTLY better in person .... and is awesome in my belly
  6. Just finished my breakfast .... mmmmm 6 rashers of short back, 4 eggs, salt, pepper and smoky bbq sauce = WIN
  7. I know I sound like a broken record, but anyone who owns a Skyline and doesn't have an alarm deserves to have it stolen and just causes all our premiums to be sky-high. MINIMUM should be a decent pager alarm (so you get notification from up to 1km if anyone even goes near your car), with 3/4 immobilisation points, a kill switch (I have 2), AND a Club Lock. I believe the Club Lock is the MOST important, as more often than not thieves will see it and think "too hard" and move on to the next car.
  8. Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Birthdays are over-rated imho .... mine is in 11 days and I couldn't care less ..... but I don't care about much these days *sigh* ..... except for heading to HONG KONG in 25 days time :)
  9. You MOST DEFINITELY do NOT want 60mm spacers .... even 30mm bolt-ons are pushing the limits of wheel bearing capability and safety. Buy some wheels with the correct offset for your car ffs.
  10. I would come Vu, but unfortunately I will be in Hong Kong (actually I will be in Macau on this date), so won't be able to make it. Have fun, and Happy Birthday Mel!
  11. Yep Ben is right - I am in the older part of Northgate (which is 10 years old), and whilst we have optical fibre to the RIMs, that is it. It is indeed Lightsview that will have Fibre-to-Node, while we are stuck in the dark ages. I need to make friends with someone in Lightsview and put up a wireless antenna to run me off.
  12. I don't understand how telling ITunes "this is the directory my music is in, now add it all to the library" is hard? I think it is awesome. And I was more talking about the App Store than ITunes .... anyone over 15 and has a half decent car stereo rarely listens uses their IPhone for music anyhow IMHO.
  13. ^^^ Pfft I dream of that sort of speed - I live in Northgate (a whole 7km North-east of the city), I am under 2km cable length from my exchange, yet as the whole of Northgate runs off a RIM we can't get ADSL2. I am stuck with a crappy 1,500 connection and pay a higher plan fee for the same amount of data vs a faster ADSL2 connection - go figure.
  14. I have a couple of mates that resisted IPhones and paid top dollar for HTCs that they have never been happy with .... I <3 my Iphone, and I doubly <3 Itunes and all the amazing software and games that are free or next to free.
  15. In a bizarre coincidence my Brother-in-law is after one of these Wayne - I will let him know you have one for sale.
  16. Is the RB25 turbo outlet 5 stud or 6 stud? I have a feeling it is 6 stud .... I have a 5 stud one here - it might have been off my old S15
  17. UNLESS you lose your license, then you go back on your Ps .... we will see how they treat existing car owners .... but I guess it means even if they let you keep your car, if you were to ever sell/crash your car while on your Ps, you would not be allowed to buy/drive another turbo car. Not sure what happens if a P platers car given to them by their parents, and is registered/insured in the parents' name. Will be interesting to see what happens when P platers get pulled over in turbo cars in that situation.
  18. I was told by the compliance workshop that the R34 had to have BRAND NEW tyres fitted - couldn't even have 2nd hand Aus tyres for compliance. Various things happened (including the workshop owner committing suicide WHILE they had the car) and they ended up passing it without new tyres. I was also told that the compliance workshop HAD to install brand new brake pads as part of the compliance process - but maybe it is a myth.
  19. Not usually - RAWS workshops are EXTREMELY careful and anal about a car being roadworthy and completely 100% stock at compliance, otherwise they lose their accreditation (and subsequent livelyhood). But things have been known to slip through. My understanding was that brake pads were to be changed and brand new tyres fitted, but neither of these things happened with my R34 nor V35. Transport SA will take it gospel that your car is 100% stock and roadworthy, so unless you have obvious illegal mods it will just be an identity check, unless they find something obviously amiss. that was the case when I brought in my R34 a few years back anyhow.
  20. Yeah you would be treated the same Ben - once you go "X" km over the speed limit it is immediate loss of license. Hard to argue with a speed camera. Sad fact is he was road testing his car on a tiny stretch of road after leaving a mechanical workshop to see if the problem persisted. Wrong place, wrong time.
  21. Looks like fun Kye - I remember seeing a similar thing on "Who Dares, Wins" a few years back - boy did the female contestants freak the furk out when they did it! Scary stuff, but fun nonetheless I reckon. You must be so excited about your upcoming travels/training/etc - good for you mate!
  22. That cheap black one listed above had no rego plates fitted and no rego/VIN mentioned in the ad .... I would suggest it is uncomplied ....
  23. Members can't access the Exec section anyway Luke - by definition only the Execs can .... And that is a great find Damo - I have been pissing myself laughing for about an hour now and can't get any work done! Especially love this one (click)
  24. ^^^ I need tp for my Bunghole rapapapapapapapapa .... where I come from we have no bunghole
