Damo how much did you pay for yours? There is a Nikon D40 in Ebay currently without bids for $424 delivered in supposedly excellent condition - seems to cheap for a half decent SLR. I have always wanted a decent camera .... I might buy it if you think it is good value and a decent enough camera (I am a point and shoot camera noob so want something simple).
-
^^^ unless you are lucky enough to have stupidly long factory studs, you will NOT get 8mm slip ons on with enough to safely do up the wheel nut.
-
Canon 450D seems to be the best bang for buck entry level SLR .... have a few friends with them and swear by them. Pretty sure Sled had one - PM him about what he loved about it.
-
Boxers are one of the only dogs that don't EVER seem to grow up ..... I have met 8 year old ones at people's houses and asked how old they are cos they are still like a spastic puupy - only to find out they are spastic 8 (56) year olds.
-
Sorry Wayne, I had promised them to Adrian/4doortaxi and he does want them. (I think you can update your sig now too )
-
I have 2 x 20mm bolt-on spacers here Wayne .... $100 - but someone else said they wanted them so I will have to check with them.

One sunny day in January, 2011 an old man approached the Canberra Lodge where he'd been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to Commonwealth security standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd." The Guard looked at the man and said, "Sir, Mr. Rudd is no longer Prime Minister and no longer resides here." The old man said, "Okay", and walked away. The following day, the same man approached the Lodge "I would like to go in and meet with the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd." The Guard again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mr. Kevin Rudd is no longer the Prime Minister and no longer resides here." The man thanked him and, again, just walked away. The third day, the same man approached the Lodge and spoke to the very same Guard saying, "I would like to go in and meet with Prime Minister Kevin Rudd" The Guard, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mr. Rudd I’ve told you already that Mr. Rudd is no longer Prime Minister and no longer resides here. Don't you understand?" The old man looked at the Guard and said, "Oh, I understand. I just love hearing you say it." The Guard snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow, Sir."

^^^ WOW, some of the sister sites to the Rasterbator are truly weird, some awesome, and some downright disturbing!

No worries Dom - pulling a car apart and having a few scotches is my ideal way of spending a few hours on a Saturday .... Am paying for it with some skun knuckles today though
-
Ah cool mate - give me a ring tomorrow and you can pop over and pick up your gasket .... probably won't be home til later in the arvo though - if you want I can leave the gasket in my letterbox? Bugger - I was going to yell out to you not to forget your cord, but figured you would have to drive PAST it on your way out, so would see it. You might be lucky and it still be there tomorrow.
-
^^^ Fixed for completeness

Yeah you do Troy ... he already come out and helps me work on the 35 - passing tools, undoing/doing up wheel nuts .... he will know how to pull apart and put back together again Nissans from a very young age. I will be sure to get some happy snaps - assuming I am still there for the model part of it.

Yep I will be heading down to Villi's around 6:30pm then Car Toys for about 7pm for a look. I will have Tyler my 2 year old in-tow though

I let people get away with it ALL THE TIME - in fact I haven't pulled anyone up on it for so long I can't even remember. But beside that the engine is in MY possession, I have control over how much it sells for, and it is my responsibility. The issue with selling for mates is trustworthiness and passing the buck. Well with this engine the buck stops with me. He simply doesn't have time to sell it, and as he is my brother-in-law I am helping him out. If you want I will remove it and slam every single ad in the future where I even suspect it is not the seller's own item. You decide everyone's fate for me Craig. There is a big difference between having an item in your possession, you controlling the price/negotiations and selling for someone, vs putting up an ad with someone else's phone number and you have nothing to do with the actual item.

Craig if you are running Firefox (which you should be - who the hell would run a Microsuck program unless they HAD to), install the Adblock Plus plugin - gets rid of nearly everything!

Loving those Russian pics Cronic - have you played any of the Stalker games? They are all set in the post-nuclear Chernobyl wasteland and are so detailed and realistic it is scary! If you are into post-apocalyptia then you will really enjoy playing the games.

Imagine a woman running the country .... every 4th week her decisions would be masochistic, to say the least *Ducks for cover from female SAU members* Thank God Labor will be gone at the next election - then Liberal can try to patch this once-great country back up - might be too late for mining and much of our resource sector, as they have been irrecoverably hurt already. Fancy screwing up the budget so badly you need to invent a super tax and send the whole economy into disarray. Shame KRudd, shame.

In extremely bad news for all car enthusiasts there is a bill before State Parliament tomorrow to make any offence under the "Hoon Laws" criteria to be a CRIMINAL offense If it goes through any Hoon related offence will be considered a criminal offence and go on your permanent record - making certain jobs unobtainable, overseas travel limited etc etc. I remind you that if a cop hears you even slightly chirp your wheels off the white line at the lights, it is considered Hoon driving - it is as easy as that. What is the world coming to?!

What is this thing you call "soccer"? Sounds like some poofy game where it is more interesting to watch the grass grow on the pitch, rather than the so-called "action" on it ....
