  1. I bought perfectly clear ones with black on the rear surface and some mirrored orange bulbs (so they look silver when not lit). Look AWESOME, but I had to use the oem mounting metal 'springs', and they leak/fog up a bit - I need to pull them out and seal them. Look killer though!
  2. Here is the "Wiring Diagram" and "User Manual". Enjoy. SAFCII_Wiring_diagram.pdf SAFCII_Manual_.pdf
  3. I also really like this bar : looks like this raw : Looks a bit like a lambo front bar
  4. ^^^ coupe springs will drop a sedan a further inch or so, as I understand it - so would be too low. What is the ride quality with these compared with stock? Do you know the spring rates? Any chance of getting a shipping quote to Northgate, SA, 5085?
  5. I have seen one on a black V35 and it looked TONS better than on the silver one in the pic
  6. I know some people are going to say this is gayer than aids, but I am seriously contemplating getting one of these : http://www.carmate.com/product_details.php...id=NSR35012DTFB My front bar is pretty stuffed (will cost more than the GTR bar costs just to fix), plus I like the look of the GTR style bar - especially in black, and I would do carbon fibre inserts and lip.
  7. Nah since it is an SA specific topic I have no problem with it. Kim's question was "ACTIVE" owners Brad .... in which case there are not many - Kim, me, Geoff and a couple of others that have briefly shown their faces
  8. DO NOT bump old threads like this unless you want a holiday from the forums ....
  9. Oh yeah forgot to mention that Main North Nissan is an SAU:SA club sponsor, so if you become an SAU:SA member for $45 (and $30 per annum thereafter) you get 10% off everything. Craig is head of the parts department there and is a Skyline NUT, so has always looked after me on parts etc and said I was welcome to bring in my old R34 or now the V35 for servicing/repairs.
  10. Given there are a whole 3 people with V35s associated with the SA section of SAU I would say this post is inappropriate in the SA forum. I will move it to the "V"" section of SAU. In answer to your question I service mine myself, but when it comes time to do major services it will be going to Nissan, as they know these things inside out, and I assume almost nobody else in SA has even touched a VQ35 before.
  11. Awesome Mike - that is EXACTLY what I was looking for 8 months ago and ended up settling for a V35 as the black V36s were still over $50k landed .... how quickly times change
  12. When I crashed my S15 (my fault) JC were awesome in letting me choose repairer, varying the amount of work done (I added a fg bodykit in leiu of the standard bars they had allowed for). I really can't complain at all.
  13. I am with Just Cars Troy and all they wanted was any alarm with 2 point immobilisation. The original version of my alarm didn't come with black wiring and they didn't give a toss about it when I told them. I even gave them my alarm model number and they looked it up and said it was fine.
  14. I have no problem whatsoever with a dirty big blue VIPER symbol flashing on my dash window .... and it would seem the crooks do respect it, as I haven't had anyone touch my car (except for one small testing incident) and I park it everywhere. They also don't know it is the black wired version, I have 2 kill switches, and I have 4 of the loudest piezo screamers you have ever heard .... if their ears can take 30-90 seconds of those things going off in their ears while they hotwire the car, then they can have it.
  15. I like your attitude Gogiraboy .... go to a judge with that sense of humble apology and hopefully you will be ok.
  16. Sorry I have to agree with Troy - how about you STOP SPEEDING?! Do the crime, do the time.
  17. In the V35 coupe the jack and spare are in the centre of the car with a timber sheet covering it, which can still accessed with the sub box in (the timber panel does no go the whole width of the car - just the centre part). I folded the carpet under the sub box back to just under the edge of it so you can still lift up the timber sheet to reveal the spare and jack.
  18. Hi rob and welcome to SAU. A few little details. Please ALWAYS use the search function (top right corner of the page) and see if your topic has been covered before. In almost all cases it has. Please DO NOT just make up new topics willy, nilly - we have enough trouble with important information topics being kicked off the front page in no time for the forums to be filled with redundant threads that have been answered before. So, I suggest you go do a search and check the stickied 'workshop information' thread in the sticked thread section at the top of the SA forum.
  19. Yep I will be in. And hopefully you still have my calendar from last year Flick! I went to pick it up from Luke ages ago, but you had forgotten to send it to work with him. Maybe one day/night after work you can drop over to my place and drop it off and I can actually give you some cash (I am not sure if I paid for it or not yet).
  20. Domenic, please use an intelligent topic title .... "Williamstown" is not even close to acceptable. In fact this topic is a borderline waste of resources ..... SAU is not a courier company. However, you will find a courier company in the yellow pages that can get a pair of seats from Williamstown to Adelaide. I wouldn't have thought a pair of seats would even fit in anyone's car - you would need a station wagon or a truck.
  21. For the sake of $30 I would VERY strongly recommend some fully synthetic Dot 5 fluid .... dot 3 has a WAY too low boiling point, and if you do any sort of hills or track work you will find out the hard way!
  22. Sorry mate, but I only found the offer Sunday night, and the offer finished Monday 9am. Was $129 + shipping .... mind you they still have it on special for a very respectable $159 + shipping http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_p...oducts_id=11164 Go have a look on Ebay - some clowns still have them on there for $399 buy it now ROFLMAO.
  23. WOW, there are 3 words that should never go together - MICRO$OFT + FREE + WORKS And in other news, I picked up a new G19 kb for $140 delivered to my door
  24. haha so you figured out I was already a member .... yeah haven't made many posts though. I was going to do a full-on CarPC install in my R34, but lost interest. TBH I really don't have the time to go troll ANOTHER forum .... but I will call in from time to time
  25. Mega drool
