  1. True, nice fitment, but this is a prime example of the first cop that comes up behind you at the lights tears you a new one and defects you. No ifs, ands, or buts. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc...4_3114186_n.jpg
  2. Nah your reference was perfectly clear Christian - Dave is just a bit slow I also could never figure out why Dom had the "TeamSR" sticker on his front windscreen - doesn't he know he drives a rotary - not a tractor!
  3. Below is an awesome tool to help you get a feel for the correct width and offset of wheel. Just put in the stock width and offset, and compare the numbers. Obviously you need to be mindful of inner, as well as out clearance - as inner clearance dictates whether you will foul on your suspension components, and obviously outer clearance is whether you will hit your guard (if it is not rolled and assuming no camber). I strongly recommend you lower your car to how you're going to keep it, get it wheel aligned, THEN start choosing wheels/offsets. http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp
  4. The USA G35 forums say that the cheapest version on Ebay is a POS, but the more expensive one is rather good fitment and look. From memory the cheap one is around US$200 + shipping and the god one is US$400 + shipping.
  5. Any chance of getting some P45-Rs? I bought a 18 x 9.5 +20 set off Rota Aus for $1,600 delivered, but the rear is not tough enough offset for me. I want to grab 2 of 18 x 10 +15 in silver with polished lip if anyone knows anyone can do a great price!
  6. You guys need to go a bit easy when giving advice on fitment. I know some of you are hard core with your own cars, but the average Joe Blow doesn't want to : 1. have to roll his guards 2. endure the occasional tyre scrape on the guards on bumps 3. fit a camber kit and run mega camber 4. chew through tyres like no mans business (see above) 5. stretch 225s on a 10" rim in order to make the tyre not foul on the guard 6. have wheels illegally (and very obviously illegally at that) hanging outside the guards etc etc etc
  7. 18 x 10 +24 on the rear - won't fit under your guards mate - not even close Perfect for my car though. Shame the fronts are 9 x 24 - not even close to tuff enough for my car. In fact my 9.5 +20s are only just ok for the front, but leave the rears on my car lacking. I am going to put 20mm bolt-on spacers on the 35 for the Kadina show - so they will be 9.5 +0 on the rear
  8. Yep love the GT-Cs on your GTR!!! I nearly bought some for the 35 from JIS, but they had about +10 less offset then I wanted (and really were more than I wanted to spend for a daily) but got these instead
  9. Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/02/ocz-rev...zing-fast-hsdl/
  10. I really like the CE28N looking rims in the middle of the last set on Mukyboy's pics (the maroon car) .... or the Meisters - (possibly get them mirror polished all over) - would look tuff on a black Cube!
  11. I have realised this arvo that it seems I can only find 2 of them Adrian. Nigel has them at the moment, but when I get them back they are yours for $10 .... or get them straight from him and fix me up whenever. I will however look for the other 2 - I am pretty sure I hadn't lent/given them away, so they must be here somewhere ....
  12. I have 4 x 5mm sitting here in my shed Nigel. You can come pick them up whenever you like I will be home for most of the arvo. They are for sale too if you want them Damo - $20 for all 4.
  13. Sorry to burst your bubble mate, but this is a 2nd electrical hand item that retailed here for $550 when brand new. Check out a current brand new listing : http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Apexi-Super-AFC-Neo...=item19ba4eebec So I offer $300 for your 2nd hand unit with no warranty
  14. Those ramps have been sitting around near the front counter at JIS for more than 6 months .... now everyone wants some lol ..... not nearly enough lift for me even close to get under my car.
  15. Haha yeah hopefully it is nothing. Have you checked ALL of your fluid levels - sometimes it is something that simple. My cas plug used to also come unplugged a little bit on my R34 which would throw an error code that would come and go - maybe give yours a wiggle and see if it is loose at all? Good luck with it, anyhow!
  16. Yep I can diagnose without seeing the car - there are only about 120 or so errors that can make your check engine light come on /sarcasm
  17. A lie by omission is still a lie. I have explained why your decision not to tell the business would have a negative impact on them. Surely you realise they will work out you were 10 weeks pregnant at the time of the interview and fire your ass for lying at the interview anyway.
  18. Congratulations Kel! But I can't even close to back you here .... the business has a business to run, and having a lethergic and sometimes absent pregnant woman working for them is bad for business. I am assuming it is a small business and they wouldn't have the overhead nor ability to hire a stand-in for your absences. Not to mention the fact you probably won't be able to work until 35 weeks, and you most certainly can't go back straight after the baby (3 weeks is law - if you needed a C-section it is 6-8 weeks). IMHO you have a moral duty to disclose to the your pregnancy and let them decide. But hey, it's your life.
  19. Who would have thought Tom Green was such a talented wordsmith - that is extremely difficult to do on the fly for that long.
  20. All in all I would get Christian (Iron Chef) to bring one in for you - his guys in Japan do mechanical checks and can take 100s of photos .... and remember, any car you can bring in for $40k landed, any car yard is going to be putting at least $10k mark-up on it. I would much rather put that sort of money to better uses ....
  21. ^^^ tell him I have some near brand new stock S15 tail lights for sale $200 if he needs them.
  22. Oh yeah, I have some PC gear up for sale too guys: 1 x Acer core 2 duo 2 x 1.86Ghz CPU, 1Gb ram, 80Gb SATA HDD PC with 17" LCD $300, Brand new CD Burners (NOT DVD) $10, 8Gb Sandisk Extreme III CF Card $40, 19" AOC CRT monitor $50, brand 1.5 inch photo frame with internal memory $10
  23. WTF - SSDs aren't mainstream? Given they have been commercially available for nearly a year and MSY sell out every time they get a shipment in, I would suggest otherwise. I can however understand all PC shops not wanting to stock them - suddenly all the pos 3 year old PCs that are now a bit slow are sped up significantly with the addition of an SSD drive. Millions of people worldwide will not need to upgrade for another X years due to how much faster they make a PC. Even an old single core XP4000+ absolutely flies with Windows 7 on an SSD.
  24. Sorry yeah Madaz is right - making a donation gets rid of flood control (but unfortunately the donation system is broken currently so I you can't do it), and becoming an SAU:SA member gets you extra PM space.
  25. No-one ever looked so good wearing a suit backwards .... if you ever doubted that Tom Green is a disturbed individual (and Rip Torn too for that matter), then watching this movie would certainly confirm it
