Also, please read the stickies when they appear : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/SA...in-forum25.html SAU will be intermittently offline and slow for up to the next 4 days .... but once the hosting is all restored to an AU server we should see much quicker load times and more stability.

The Bosch 040 I originally had put in my S15 annoyed the living crap out of me with its incessant buzzing - and it WAS mounted in-tank, on the factory mounting points. I was most pleased when it shat itself and I put the near silent Walbro in.
-
Yep I highly recommend the Walbro 255lph - had one in my S15 and my R34. The 040 I had in the S15 sucked up silt off the bottom of the tank and blocked, then failed. Pumps with socks (like the stock pump and the Walbro) are better designed for Nissans IMHO. Also, got camber? I have some camber arms ordered to address the problem, but it looks pretty slammed at the moment

Yeah you forgot to add me to the list Damo .... so I added myself

Pretty sure Ministry of Bass have them. Autobarn definitely have them. But are much cheaper online/HabiBay.

WOW if so that is an extremely impressive time!
-
I am VERY willing to bet Andrew is not doing 14s .... 18s or 19s maybe. It is like the difference between a 12 second 1/4 mile and an 11 second 1/4 mile. Even more amazing that my 146rwkw V35 was doing 1:30 flat, and the guys with literally double the power in R33GTRs (Heslo and Red Back) were doing 1:24s - only 6 seconds difference is amazing for double the power. You can only imagine what power/skill is necessary to get down another 6 seconds to (I assume) Andrew's times. Munro had a best of 1:17 in the race R33GTR (with 400odd atw), and the Willall R35GTR has done a 1:13, which is the production car lap (non slick) record I believe.
-
So in love with a Falcodore??? Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
-
Yep would love another one (that ran a bit smoother - the power issues were a bugger time-wise). Mallala would be awesome - especially since many of us have done timed laps around Lala in our own cars and could compare.
-
Yes I am 100% positive Steve .... given I tried to do it. You can't even get close to the core getting out/in from behind the glove box. In fact even with the whole dash removed and the structural steel mounts loosened I still couldn't get the whole heater core with shroud etc out and had to break a bit of the plastic away to remove it and install the new core into the old shroud/mount/box. But yeah, try Sinergy for a quote - maybe they know a secret way to do it.
-
Sorry to tell you mate, but is in an ABSOLUTE PAIN IN THE A$$ of a job, as the WHOLE dash needs to come out. I can't even imagine what it would cost for a workshop to do it. The R33 one is MUCH easier, as about 1/3 of the dash needs to be removed to do it.

No worries David, glad you enjoyed the day. I have managed to sell all of the extra 4 tickets for tomorrow, so just have 1 spare Gold Pit Entry ticket (a nice seat) for Sunday left for $50 if anyone knows anyone. General admission normally costs $85 fyi, so even if you just buy it to get entry to the track it is a great deal.
-
Yeah mate no shit on the wedding date. And they are closely related (one of the ticket holders in the bride's sister/Matron of honour). Gay as. Well I have a ticket in my pocket for today going to waste (in fact we have a few), so if you fell so inclined come down for even an hour or 2. I am only just heading in now myself, as I have been dealing with the wife's back and the 2 year old.
-
I have 2 spare Gold Clipsal tickets in my pocket going to waste for today. Anyone want to come in? The wife has done her back so won't be able to come on any day - anyone interested in buying a Pit Entry Gold ticket for Saturday/Sunday for $100? I would like to get at least some money back for the ticket (it cost $180, and the $100 is am asking for Sat/Sun is cheaper than general entry tickets). I also have 3 tickets available for just tomorrow (Saturday) in Pit Entry Gold for $50 each if anyone is interested in coming along. The owners of the tickets (who sit with us) are going to a wedding for the whole day.

Not sure if these could be easily modded to fit? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-Nissan...sQ5fAccessories Under $4k delivered assuming you don't get caught by customs.

Everyone play nice please - don't make me moderate the Wasteland ffs.
-
Does anyone that knows me want a Gold Clipsal ticket for tomorrow? It would obviously mean coming and hanging out with me as an official grid/promo girls photographer (ie. you take photos with me and every decent looking chick we come across).

Test Drivers Getting Fines On My Behalf!

I agree - would be easy as piss to get the person who sold the car to NOT ID Kellie as the actual purchaser. Or even better get someone to track down this scam girl, get a photo of her, then get the seller to verify that was the "Kellie" they thought they sold the car to. Then you could get the vehicle disposal notice and prove the handwriting/signature was not yours also, as well as the address not being 100% correct and drivers license number missing. There is a lot amiss here. -
Motor would not come with turbos or loom, but would come with injectors, fuel rail, probably afms and dumps. No trans. obviously.
-
Hey, does anyone know anyone that would be interested in buying an R33GTR RB26DETT motor? Has just under 120,000km, had 100k service done at 100,000km with new water pump, belts, fluids etc. Runs perfectly and super strong. Brother-in-law has come across a brand new R34GTR Nur engine filled with Tomei head bits at a good price, and is not sure what his existing engine is worth or how hard it would be to sell. Anyone have a price range and demand for such a thing.

I would VERY strongly argue that if they can't show you proof (ie. photo) of your car speeding, then they can't fine you. -

Your only hope is that the speed camera photos were taken front-on and they can ID that the driver is not you. Have you asked for/seen the photos? -

Why on earth would you let someone test drive your car without you in it? They probably did burnouts and all sorts of crap. Count yourself lucky no-one has reported your rego for hoon driving and you get a visit from the cops to take your car for 48 hours and charge you with hoon laws offenses (and YES, they most certainly can do that). Sorry but you are screwed .... in the eyes of a cop sounds like a great story anyone who had 1 point left would make up. But it won't hurt to try and plead it - trouble is you double your fines and then some by the time you let it go to court to plead your case. And given your previous driving record it would seem that speeding fines are par for the course, so they are unlikely to have any leniency.
