Plenty of stock turbos have died at even 10psi when on the track under decent temperature and load .... pretty sure that's how the HPI R34 blew its stock turbo when they did their build-up. 17 is insane and would not last long at all.

Why would you hand over cash for a car with no rego papers/proof of ownership? How can you guarantee it was not stolen interstate and will come up as so when they check the VIN? Has it got a green compliance plate to prove it has even been complied? Sounds very dodgy to me.

OK peoples, I have just found out that if you pre-buy a ticket for $15.80 you get a free Stein (which we normally pay about $6 for from memory). Only catch I can see is that if you are coming later in the day, they might run out of Steins (as they do some years). So if you are coming early and meeting me at the gate around 11:30-12pm Saturday, let me know, I will buy you a ticket online and give the ticket to you on the day. Or go to the Shutzenfest website, follow the links and buy your own. If you want me to buy one for you (and you fix me up on the day) let me know by tomorrow night, as I will order the tickets then.

Well it is a tiny bit late notice, but please reply here if you want to come along to the annual SAU Schutzenfest non-car meet-up. As usual I will go line up with some dedicated helpers around 11:30am next Saturday and reserve a bunch of tables and chairs undercover for the masses. If you haven't been before it is an AWESOME event with food of many genres (particularly German food), and a whole range of on-tap and canned beverages (including spirits). Of course there is also some rifle shooting that you can submit for a possible prize if you are good enough. Temperature is forecast for 35 degrees, so will be an awesome scorcher and will most likely have big spray tents to keep everyone cool (and the guys entertained) It really is a great day, so if you haven't got anything on, come along to Ellis Park at 11:30am onwards - many of us normally pike around 6-7pm, as that is already a good 6-7 hours of drinking. ^^ the first bit of that trip is exactly what we are currently doing - overnight in the Mount after leaving home 12pm on the 26th, and we are now in Warrnambool ..... did a fishing charter yesterday (caught about 20 fish including a 3ft gummy shark, 40cm Nanagai and 40cm speckled snapper, all of which we coked for dinner last night), scuba dived the other day and have whole day horse riding along the coast tomorrow

^^ I have stock R34 4 door suspension sitting here $300 - no top hats (use them off your old suspension). I have a stock R33 side-mount cooler if you set desperate. Pretty sure Luke_ENR34 has an R34 4 door exhaust for sale too.
