You take that back. That is the best thing done to an F40 evar!

There's on little increase in the hole's width at one end. Like it has been corroded a little. Hard to see what's actually happened.

2008 D22 Navara Fs5r30a Into Cefiro/skyline

Input shaft bearings don't like lots of torque. Your typical boosted RB25 is too much for it. I wore out 2 of them on an RB20. Yeah, even that's no longer true. Anything at that price will need the other $3k spent on it! -

Yuh, I think that's pretty much the extent of it. I should have bought a 33 one when they were only $3k. Now I wish I bought a 34 one when they were <<$4k. Expensive future proofing shed ornament . -

Well the R33 box is probably hard to get. It's OOS at JustJap for example. The R34 box is available there for >$4k now. Same same, but different. These or the R33 may be available at overseas Nissan parts people (all the usual suspects) for $3.5k but would have additional costs to get them into the country. Doesn't really matter. $3.5k. $4.5k. It's all about the same amount of money. If you want to play, you have to be ready to pay. -

Yuh, what's the point unless you're broke-arse and have access to free Nav parts and capable of the required work? New box is new. If I were going to put time and energy into f**king about with alt Nissan gearboxes, it would be to go CD009 and get the extra gear. -
It is in your head. The viscosity difference at operating temp is 3/5 of f**k all.

kinugawa Kinugawa TD05H RB20/25
GTSBoy replied to Jacks red r34 gtt's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
TD05 is not a new turbo. It's an old Jap design. Used on Mitsus, etc. Kinugawa are just making "new" copies of it, with different wheels, etc. Why not talk to Tao about what he can do for you? -
And it is always way too hard to do your own wiring.

GT is the next to bottom NA car. GT-V was halfway to GT-T, whilst still being NA. Had A lot of the chassis/driveline differences from the GT-T on it.

Dude, it's not the 1970s any more. Even shit grade oil is 100x better than the best oil used to be 30 years ago. Yes, I would put supermarket brand oil in my RB25 if I had to. It would work fine. I don't because I can afford to use the good Penrite stuff. I don't subscribe to the magic swan juice school of lubrication fanboi-sm that circulates in the Jap import world though.

As a matter of fact, I am a combustion engineer, aerodynamicst and supervisor of the engineers who do the CFD at my company. I am comfortably capable, thankyou very much. -
I'm of the opinion that gearbox oil is gearbox oil.
-
If you don't need it, don't use it. Normal Castrol or Nulon or Royal bumblebee or just about anything else.
-
If it doesn't crunch, it's not f**ked. My box would not select ANY gear from neutral with the engine running, with normal oil in it, when I first put the box in. (it felt fine with no engine when I bought it!, which is why I bought it). We dropped the fresh oil out and put the blue shit in and it started to work. Been like that ever since.
-
It is a bandaid. Not to be used in a good box. I have had it in my box which was pretty f**ked when I put it in, for......um..... nearly 10 years, and it has done no damage that I can notice from using the box.

Probably never been done for the reasons and in the manner that you want to. Deletion is easy. Relocation is a pioneering effort. Going to put it on the rear firewall behind the front passenger?

What's the difference between a plenum for a straight 5 cylinder and a straight 6? It's one more, isn't it? /Nigel Tufnell -

Why? What makes the RB26 special? It's just a plenum. -

Audi rally engine plenum from the 80s is a good example of how long ago the idea has been around. -
It will be loud, drony, harsh and f**king awful.

I forgot to rag on the fact that HKS will want you to pay a squillion Yen for the pleasure of putting a bunch of stuff onto your car that you could have done yourself for a very small fraction of the price.
