If you pay more than $100 you getting ripped.
As for a diy depends on your skill.
The covers are glued to the foam. You only need to peel the cover off the side where the foam has collapsed. Cut the section of of foam out and glue a new peice in then shape it.
Do yours work ok?
With mine when you put it back in drive they move up a tiny bit more than they move down so after a couple of times they're way off. So I just leave them off
What sort of temp dose the oil get too/ whats too hot? Thinking about getting a temp gauge on my M35 to see what its like while towing.
I towed my HQ yesterday about 20km. Was a hire trailer that said was 750kg and the car should be around 1200-1300kg. If I planed on getting a race car I would not have got the Stagea. It sagged a bit to much in the arse for my liking and defiantly needs more torque
I will be racing in the Vic HQ series, so mainly Sandown, Phillip Island and Winton.
I've only done a few track days in my MR2 so its going a lot different to that.
I should be doing the OLT on the 20th July and racing the 21st 22nd at Sandown
I asked a mechanic about fitting some suspension bushes on Friday and he starts explaining that for the Volvo it will probable be cheaper to buy replacement arms. He thought I was joking so went out to cheek
I still haven't used it yet. Cost was $880. He also forgot to add the bit for the chain to go to so need to sort that out
With the bolt that goes up he had to cut a hole in the back of the car so the tow bar goes inside the rail as well
Basicly it has no load rating. He just said it would be good for 2000kg and 150 on the ball.
Ill try get some pics of it but I really need to take the bar of to get any deceint ones. It does look a bit better than the Fast fit one tho
I droped it off this morning. Had a call from him around 5 and said he was just painting the tow bar and will put it together tomorrow.
Hoping to take my HQ race car out on Sunday so will be able to test it.
