Yeh I have noticed at some servos it pumps nice and strong and doesn't cut off that easily until full, whereas others I can barely get a trickle in. Will try the 45 degree trick lol.

Hey guys! This is quite annoying, when I fill up petrol there seems to be some resistance with flow into the fuel tank so the servo fuel pump keeps shutting off. The only way around this seems to be to fill it slowly but once I overfilled and ended up with petrol all over my shoes. Anyone else have this problem?

I have the exact same problem with misfires on cold start. Car idles a bit rough also when it's cold but on warmer mornings this does not happen. I have new splitfire coilpacks and new platinum plugs and also second hand r34 gtr AFMs, this has reduced the misfires but I can still feel it. Like others once the car warms up it's fine. Might be a plug gap problem? If so then should I get some copper NGKs and get them gapped to 0.8mm?

I'd like to know of other places to get serviced as well. Some of the well known ones are too far away from where I live (Bankstown).

Wow thanks for the tutorial! I bought cluster LEDs and thought to myself damn I'm never going to get around to doing it and made an excuse that the stock dash looked fine (which it does). This weekend will be blue dash baby! I could shake your hand PS. does anybody know how to plug back the boot light plug? It's in a really tight spot. I thought my bootlight was blown but when I put in the LED one I realised some fool had unplugged it. I can see it and get afew fingers onto it but cannot for the life of me push the plug back in

My alternator is doing the same thing. The turbotimer is telling me it's making 15 volts and the battery light is on. When it drops to below 14.5v the batt light turns off. Checked it with multimeter also. The workshop I took it to said it was overcharging but should be fine I really hate that battery light. Will get that regulator fixed one day when the hole in my wallet recovers.

I've been reading about HID's too. One day when I have an oven that actually works I'm going to open up my headlights and put in those FX-R HID retrofit ones from 'theretrofitsource'. All up including projectors they are going for less than $500 currently. Google it, there's a guide on how to do it from one of those UK skyline forums. Either that... or i'll buy cheapass $80 HID projector kits off ebay and retrofit since the car is getting old and is a real moneypit haha My previous car was a mazda astina I had ebay $60 HID's in it with the stock projectors and it was perfect I would not recommend HID's in a reflector type headlight, glare like anything.

There is a R33 S2 reinforcement on ebay for $209. Hope that helps.

That looks like a total loss. I've had damage a lot less than that for a $15k car that was written off. Once they pull off the rear bar and see further damage then it's a write off in your case.

It's worthwhile to hold out to find the PERFECT one for you. It gets quite expensive/time consuming to sort things out the way you want it afterwards. I made the mistake of impulse buying.

I had a recent accident where I was rear ended that wrote off my SAAB (luckily). The guy was a green P plater dodgy gave me all his details but never called his insurance. I took it to a reputable smash repairer, they mailed him a letter of demand and threatened legal action as my car was sitting in the workshop. Everything worked out after that

Are all R33 headlights the same? eg. R33/GTST/GTR?
