  1. Few more hard launches with my standard clutch and you'll be seeing me too Ken. I'll just pop around as usual (or push it there.....either one).
  2. Thanks mate, that is good to know. Won't b long til some young gozzy loser will kindly snap it off for me when i park it at the shops somewhere. Are there any alternatives, i.e. shorter aerial ???
  3. Yeah I'm in the same club. Mine aerial goes all the way down only when it feels like it (1 in 10 times prolly). There has to be a solution, besides the factory one is way too long anyway - stands out like dogs balls.
  4. insurance and replacements for the pretty second hand rear tyres i have at the moment. Dammit! they're not mods - this game is just too expensive
  5. rs73: what is "ricey" about removing stickers? (especially if they are craked and faded). Putting extra stickers on, now that is ricey!
  6. raasclaat is right man - it is a hell of a lot easier to commit to buying a cheap car (especially as low as $500), that's just pocket change. I sold a Toyota Sprinter within two days of just putting a "for sale" sticker on the window and that went for $3200. There aren't that many ppl willing to commit to $20K + insurance etc. Not everyone is as silly as us If your not that desperate to sell it then don't drop your price too low, otherwise you'll just rip yourself off. You can always negotiate a lower price but never raise it above what you set in your ads.
  7. Last time I had an alarm installed at my place the dude backed my car (not the skyline) into my letterbox, what a tool! I got a free alarm but had to replace my rear bumper, hmm I don't know who got a better deal. Anyway you might want to move the car to a nice open space where he/she has no reason to be moving it.

Oh my gawd, MarkR33 you're a disgrace, pull your head in. Or should I say OUT seeing it seems to be up your arse. tdawg: Do as you please but be prepared to take full responsibility when you get done.
  9. There's a place called L&T Venables that stock all weird bits and pieces that you don't usually find in hardwarre stores. Worth a try. But if looks like the lil picture you got there (i.e. dildo) try barbarellas or club x
  10. myr332: I have two amps mounted exactly where you are thinking of putting yours (right hand side of battery, behind the scenes). It's a good spot, seems made for it if you ask me. But i don't recommend screwing it down. I have a custom made box with one sitting on top of the other (nothing fancy). It is held down with velcro and I have it wedged in there with some foam to minimise lateral movement while going sideways .
  11. I have no Falken idea. Sorry that was bad.......i am very bored at the moment. Someone had to say it, may as well be me.
  12. Sorry to hear about the accident Lauren. Don't let it get you down, it'll just make you stronger (and a lot wiser). Best wishes for all those involved. P.S. sorry about the avatar, it seems a little inappropriate for this thread .
  13. Hyperdrive kits for R33 gtst are complete. The intercooler I got is 600x300x100 with 2.5inch piping in polished stainless steel. Nice neat job, looks good. I am very happy with it. Thanks to Glen and Ken. Now all we have to do is get that power fc fitted and tuned!
  14. Nah that is some old dude (with all respect). Mine is blue with advan RG's and sort of a semi-GTR style kit. I'm always rolling around Malaga though. Intercooler is mounted (looks a treat)......piping is being welded up now.
  15. I'll let you know how it goes also fane. I am the hyperdrive test case. Should go in today, the car is waiting patiently in the car park to be picked up. I work just around the corner from the workshop.
  16. Bit of a cheap shot on the chicks there MirKz. Plenty of guys a just as shite and prolly more likely to drive off without leaving a note. Very common problem though....I had a similar experience with my AE86 sprinter. That cost me a cool grand to fix. It was a damn good hit for a carpark jobby.
  17. lol...........let it go, we all do dum stuff now and then
  18. Well done ant and all the fellas at SST. Witnessed the beast on the dyno in person at SST on friday and funnily enough have gone sightly deaf since then. That thing is scary and freakin loud! Congrats. I'll be happy if we can get my car to have half that kind of crowd puling appeal.
  19. '83 AE86 Toyota Sprinter.......cool car, but I couldn't justify spending too much money on it so I just thrashed it and sold it to an unsuspecting young gun.
  20. Oh my gord! I think I am gonna cry. Hope you're alright, that's the main thing. Now there are only 1,000,001 R33's in WA. Hope you are covered by insurance etc....Keep your chin up.....go out and get another one, in the meantime there are plenty of skyliners you can hitch a ride with south of the river
  21. Yeah I had huge dramas trying to sort out REVS issues when buying my car recently. DOCEP people were very helpful (albeit agonisingly slow), they kept me informed with all of their investigations, progress etc. The REVS check is free over the phone.... Then you can purchase insurance against the check $10. (note the insurance only covers you for "registered interest in the vehicle in WA) I haven't got any nasty encumbered vehicle letter yet (fingers crossed).
  22. Hey guys (and gals) if any of you need a new car battery let me know. The bro is the warehouse manager for RAC batteries in Malaga and can do very good prices......depending on how nice you are to me (just jokes). Just put a larger battery in the skyline to run the new power hungry stereo. cannot believe the size/capacity of the stock battery, that thing would struggle to power a walkman. Anyway let me know if your are interested and I will organize it for you.
