  1. Given the same small mods such as airpod and exhaust done to both cars the same. I'd say it come down to driver skill. But I do believe the SR20DET is quicker of the mark due to the less amount of weight that needs to be moved. So don't be surprised if a Silvia smokes your ass :shake:
  2. My mate has a budget of approximately (likely maximum) of 22K. He wondering whether he should go the Skyline or 200SX route. There is a 98 200SX sports spec in the trading post for 21,500. Any suggestions?
  3. I think your confused a little. Japan: Spec R - SR20DET Spec S - SR20DE Australia: Spec S - SR20DET Spec R - SR20DET + rear spoiler + side skirts + sunroof + 6 cd stacker So in Japan, Spec R is the turbo version while Spec S is the NA. In Australia, both Spec S and R are turbo.

  9. Heading towards the city on Parramatta Rd on Sunday evening, approxiamately at 6pm when traffic came to a ground stopping halt. It was a black R33 Skyline with the roof completely flat. Look like it a hit a pole as well. Tilt truck came to pick it up blocking all three lanes city bound direction. Shame I didn't have my camera on me.
  10. Quite Frankly, thats because the dyno run was done in 3rd gear. If I did a dyno run in 2nd gear, I'd probably make 800Nm+ The gears/ratios act as torque mutiplier...

  14. I'm pulling out of this cruise tonight. Common sense actually prevailed over me today, I saw at least 4 cops on the way home from the city last night. It will be quadruple the amount tonight.
  15. Scanners are completely legal. Police/Emergency frequencies are publicly listed by the Australian Broadcasting Association (http://www.aba.gov.au/) However using them to commit a crime or avoid enforcement is not.
  16. I'll make sure I'll have a gold license passenger with full points right next to me
