  1. Yeap, HKS bastards! no shroud on the single sr20det version. probably doesnt need it though...
  2. Actually, I would think the standard S15 T28 spools and makes full boost quicker than the GT-RS.
  3. I (only) like: Rear tail lights Exhaust Note N1 and Nur editions of the GTR.
  4. I can understand self-leveling with sensors determing how far away an object is, but self-cleaning? Someone care to explain?
  5. Power FC, plug and pray since I can't read Jap
  6. I am thinking the opposite, the smaller RB20 AFM would have smaller resolution as it can map out finer airflow amounts. The larger Z32 unit would have coarse/larger resolution, as it needs to map out airflow for a greater range?
  7. try using a 3rd gear in a 6 speed, very different ratio altogether.
  8. Franky runs 1.0 bar day in, day out I believe.
  9. R34 is heavier than the R33, at the same time the chassis is more rigid too. Must be all that extra spot welding.
  10. I'd say stock S13 vs R33, S13 would be quicker down the quarter and around the track.
  11. Yep, they come with their own internal wastegate actuators - as pictured set at 0.9 bar. The wastegate outlet looks different because there is a 'splitter' to stop turbulance from the main exhaust outlet. They will still bolt up to the standard T25 5 bolt dump pipe.
  12. They give you every gasket in the kit except the dump pipe one
  13. Phil, thats exactly what I am using at the moment, a Keyboard PS/2 extension cable. Just becareful when you knock out the 'extra' pin. I used a pair of pliers and eventually ripped it out by bending it over and over again. Just becareful not to knock out other pins though It makes removing FC Commander a breeze, or hiding from farkin thieves.
  14. To summarise: JDM > AUS climate control xenon hid headlights tv screen/sat-nav/md rear windscreen wiper factory boost gauge/a-pillar 180km instrument cluster fog lights ignition keylight illumination heaps more, see http://www.bengoodger.com/cars/silvia/jsit...s/options.shtml

  16. Have to add, do not re-commit the offence (or get caught ) The vehicle gets defaulted to the crown. This means car is auctioned and proceeds directed towards state revenue.
  17. Quickest way to have the car released, if the car is not registered under the drivers name, the registered owner did not have good reason to believe that the motor vehicle was being used an offence - write a letter to the LAC. If uncertain, have a solicitor do it. You will still need to pay towing and storages fees however before the vehicle is released. Alternatively, you can have a letter sent to the LAC stating that the vehicle confiscation causes 'undue hardship' which directly effects your employment or well being. Failing that, you can file a case at your local court to be heard. Or you can have the matter raised with the Administratrive Decision Tribunal. By the time you have all the paperwork processed and cut through all the red tape, the 90 day confiscation period is over. Also when you appear in court for the illegal street racing and win the case, you don't have to pay for storage or towing fees.
  18. yep rice vents, lets air, water, and low flying insects in. notice engine bay does marginally gets dirtier, but nothing a can of degreaser can't fix.

  20. It's not listed as a Z32. Select: Setting -> Airflow -> VG30.
  21. A S15 went in to Hills, brand new exhaust system was lost. A R34 went it, rims were scratched. Both victims are members of this forum.
  22. Here is quick run down of the buttons Left & Right arrows: Boost Channel 1, 2, 3, External, Warning, and Off. When boost channel 1,2,3 is selected - Hold down knob for 5 seconds or more to configure how much boost 'rate'. Press the knob once again to select the channel, then twist it to adjust the rate. If you hold the knob down down again for 5 secs or more, it allows you to adjust boost 'gain' across all channels. I have gain set to '15' and rate to '65' to achieve 16PSI / 1.1bar on a SR20. Warning - will start beeping/flashing if boost exceeds the level you specifiy. Pressing left & right together will reset peak boost reading.
  23. I couldn't find an English manual either, however I should be able to answer most questions on the DBC SC as I went through the same dilemma.
  24. At least you exhaust didn't go missing or wheels get scratched.
