Go all the time and have never seen a skyline other than my own. Just a lot of hatchbacks, VE utes, Cayennes and a Hummer.

What a sook! The UK has some truly dedicated motoring fans, a roadtrip is going to the Nürburgring.

I'm from there and I came back last year so pretty recent. Looking at that link you gave me : http://www.dslreports.com/archive?c=au 2767 769 domain: aanet.com.au is still way slower than : http://www.dslreports.com/archive?c=uk 4373 528 Demon Internet: UK based broadband provider and since I'm a web developer I have hand on experiences on which is better, UK by a mile. They have more competitors for DSL and mobile services and would be cheaper too. Australia has Telstra, I pay $125 per month for the fastest but LIMITED plan they have and is still not as good as the £11 unlimited broadband at O2. Get a Sky plan with internet and it will still be cheaper than Bigpond+ Foxtel. Foxtel's minimum cost on a 12 month direct debit plan is $916. And I haven't even started on 3G. Lastly, UK will be implementing a giga-internet highway starting with the universities pretty soon. Fact is, internet is cheaper in UK, free wireless can be found in nearly every Maccas, libraries, public places and even along the Thames. In Australia we get hard done by businesses and companies that are just SLOW.

Skyline represent y0! -
Spotted a sky blue (bayside blue) R32 GTR on Burwood hwy ferntree gully end. Would really like to know who owns the car, very interested in it.

I have someone in mind, she used to be a teacher in China and she does private tuition. She's MILF material if that's your thing lol

Sure its not that much? I never paid that much, most of my expenses came from rent which is really expensive. But there's a few things that UK has Australia beat, Internet is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Australia and cheaper too. And the cars, London has ballers all over the place.

There's a way to overcome parking, go to a Tesco, Sainsbury, B&Q or Asda store ;-) UK is expensive but Tokyo was crazy, over $200 in tollways and passes to go from Chiba to the north part of Tokyo (Hakone) alone!

Sorry to all the guys affected by the hail, just goes to show that none of us are in control when mother nature plays. Some of these pictures of the hail and flood are the worst I've ever seen : http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/photo-gal...37692013?page=5 Knox city wasn't too bad but yeah heard Rowville and Scorsby were hit hard. I would be keen to take a look at that dealership in FTG, may be some bargains there.

The problem is the OP's budget, he is able to put up 7K just for the car only, any of the cars that he's mentioned will cough $2k or more out of him. The fact is that all of these cars are old and probably driven hard. If I was really on a budget with just 7K I'd look at a Toyota lol Do any of you know anything about Zs? They come in NA and TT versions, 2 +0 and 2+2 as well as convertible (which are NA). With an NA car you are not going to have any problems. They just run like any regular 6 cylinder car and handles great too. With a TT, easy, read up on the history of the car, log books and online reports to find out. If you want to avoid a real headache stay away from a TT RX7, the 300zx is nothing in comparison!

How Do You Tell If The Car Has Done Big Kms?
MRSAMO replied to GTR-N1's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Done on purpose??? my car just turned 100k and doesn't have any plenum scratches and peeling compared cars with less than "30k" that I've seen. The engine itself has no scratches but I've seen worst in cars with less Ks than mine! Either their cars aren't showing the right kays, or they've left the engine out in the open for a while, or they've swapped the original engine for an old one! I know for sure that mine's original because I bought it off the original owner with the original Japanese log books! If people repaint their engine, its going to be costly because it'll mean lifting the whole thing and you might as well do the engine bay while you're at it. My interior is in good condition though like a lot of cars in Japan most gets parked outdoor and during the summer it gets as hot as Australia. I got my car when I was in Japan and even though I had to park in the residential parking lot (all suburbs have them) my car was the only one with a cover I got from autobacs. There are Mercs, BMWs, Lotuses (Elise) parked next to me with no covers. That's how it is in Japan for the most part. If you're up north then you're mostly covered in snow. The interior area around the dash and windscreen will show some wear which will be hard to replace, add that to your list Terry. -
No I'm not : Compared to 180s and silvias: 350z looks porky, as the S2K guys would say, "a toad taking a shit" : I do like the 240z, not a fan of the longer 260z and 70s 280zx/Z31s: Sorry for those people still using dialups LOL Depend what you drove and under what conditions. J-spec TTs had 4 wheel steering (so do GTRs), its no wonder they feel heavy sometimes but its not heavy like no-power-steering heavy. This steering trait comes into play at higher speed where you want stability. Most people don't buy Zs for time attacks, drags or drifting, they weren't designed for that. They are just grand tourers, which is perfect for street driving and highways. Unfortunately like a lot of other second hand cars, some thrashed, its hard to see just what a car has been through without knowing its full history. A car may have 20000kms on it, but that could be 20000kms of track time. Most of the cars that we are talking about are well over 100ks.

To be fair its a Tommy Kaira inspired GTR. I can never understand the TK difference but some people are fans. I prefer this standard look than the real TK. Nice car, nice colour, GL with the sale.

You would take the 280zx over the 300zx (Z32 I presume)??? There is a bit of 300zx hate because some people have either bad or no experiences with them. I know guys who've had the same car for more than 8 years already! Z32s are IMO the best looking Nissans and the TTs are no slouch. They are solid cars when done right, as with any other turboed cars and far more reliable than RX7s. I drove a mate's ZX that was stage 7 or 8. No other car scared me more to this day but it was still very well grounded and handling was amazing. I think he did a bit of suspension work to put all that power to the ground as ZXs are notoriously bad drag cars. I have a feeling the OP would probably settle for a sedan-like car. ZXs are more for enthusiasts and weekend riders.

+1, did a respray lately?

Everyone says that driving a modded Honda around a smallish track is the most fun you could have for cheaps. Bloody hell I think I'm just going to forget that R34GTR and replace my Honda with an S2K, a really modded S2K.

"I have seen one" - Armageddon.

Don't do it. Like having clear indicators, it really changes the dynamics of the car which you might not be happy with later on.

Saw a very nice yellow R34 GTT on springvale road on Friday afternoon. Thought it might be charles89 but this one had a black front lip or something.

I've got the same car but stock, so will be following your progress as I'm doing a 100k service very soon. The S2000 is a hell of a car, a Nissan and a Honda is a nice combo to have ;-)
