  1. I'm not a fan of the 33 and never was, but this one looks really good for some reason, great buy.
  2. To answer the OP's question, if it looks standard then maybe it hasn't been modified. Also insurance. Maybe if the overall mileage is over 200Ks. The RB26 is incredibly reliable IMO. Mine is on 98K, stock and runs like new. Probably has much to do with my driving style too, I don't thrash it at every light.

I think no one spots me because of where I live, near Knox Police
  4. Thanks for the replies. Having lived in Japan before the cars on the road there are excellent. I think its mainly because of the shaken that they have to go through. The poor examples can only come from scrap yards which you would probably go for second hand parts. I have seen the so called excellent conditioned R32s at 2-3 million yen, they've been in showrooms or garages for years. Then you seen those that are a few years and look like in excellent body condition. But in spite of this, nearly all of them have/will suffer a fender bender and scratches at some point. Resprays are inevitable, that's why the Japanese stick to basic colours. Parking can be very tight especially in the city or at Donke Honte and unless your car resembles something completely dressed with with wide spoilers etc (ie. Yakuzas) then most people don't care! I don't care too much about scratches because of this as long as the engine and interior is excellent. You can't help what other people might do to your car on the outside but we can definitely take care of the rest. I love my R32 but feel that at my age its beginning to feel more toy-like, but hard to give up because there's nothing better for the price.
  5. Ah I thought you had an R32. R32 > R33
  6. I had been thinking about selling my R32 for a while now since I got it 6 years ago. Due to work committment I never got around to doing anything to it and its been sitting in the garage most of the time as I had 2 other cars. Now I just have the R32. Its a great car but I've always wanted an R34 which I should have gotten back then in Japan had I known that the Aussie prices would be so inflated. Now I'm considering to get a new car like an HSV or an SUV which I hope to keep for another 10 years. I know Commodores will probably be dated pretty quickly given their reputations but the new ones look great this time. The other option I was looking at was the new Audi Q5. Anyway these will probably cost $50k to $60k brand new, if I trade in the GTR I may only get $10k out of it if that. I will get a new car but not a necessarily a better performance one. So I considered the R34 GTR but the prices are still too high which left me wondering, why has the R32 dropped so much in value? Both are equally aging and I know condition can be a factor. If the R32 is going to drop so much in prices to $8000 then I'd rather keep it than swap for a 180sx, tarago, taxi cab or commodore.
  7. Decided to put the sale of my R32 GTR on hold unless someone wants to trade for an R34 GTR.
  8. I'm in the exact same boat, same car and also around the same age as Glaze. Had mine for years, no mods and wanted to sell. The problem was I will never get another car as good for the market price out there. I wanted a family performance vehicle like an HSV or an SUV for the next 10 years. Most importantly something that drank less petrol. The R34 GTR was always a dream of mine to have one day but if its going to be a gas guzzler and cop magnet then I might as well keep my R32 and modify it. The $30k difference is a lot for mods I would be interested in what you are looking at glaze.
  9. Suzuki Cap has been sold! GTR is still available, will post some pictures if you still donn't know what it looks like but price is firm because this is a very clean and standard car. What can you buy for $13k - $15k these days? A Commodore, Magna or Nimbus all with over 150-200K kms. This is a low mileage 1991 car not a 1989 or something modified to death. Please no time wasters or tyre kickers, got a lot of time wasters for the suzuki to eventually sell successfully to someone who just laid down the money and drove away.
  10. Price drop for the GTR, $12k no RWC.
  11. Please e-mail me at [email protected], thanks!
  12. Good luck with the sale, free bump.
  13. Yeah I saw this car before, that company comes out with a lot of nice GTRs. How much is it BTW?
  14. Hey guys, just email me and I'm not looking for trade-ins thanks!
  15. Absolutely, I can't answer my PMs (not enough post counts) so just email me. I can't post pictures either. Prices are good because I just want to clear all the cars that we have (regs, insurances for 6 cars!!), good time to buy a GTR or Cap, both interesting cars and will always be head turners. I'd like to see someone mod the cap into a mini GTR, it really has a lot of potentials (as do the GTR but we all knew that ;-) ).
  16. Sorry forgot location, Melbourne! I will drive it to Sydney to a genuine buyer if required :-)
  17. Sorry, I can't seem to PM (not enough post counts). Prices for both cars : R32 Skyline GTR $14000 neg. Suzuki Cappuccino $8000 neg. Really need them out thanks for reading.
  18. I'm putting up a few of my cars for sale due to relocation and a new house. 1. 1991 R32 GTR - 96K kms - Had only driven less than 1000 kms in 4 years! - Very standard model, no modifications (except exhausts and wheels) - Never pushed or tracked (I'm 35!) or been in an accident I bought it as a standard car and am leaving it as a standard car. Always services and love its reliability. Selling it as it is, you may want to take it further as most people would with a GTR. Still turn heads, still beats any commodore or fords. 2. 1993 Suzuki Cappuccino - 56K kms - Standard, no modifications, most economical turboed car in Australia ($30 PW on premium unleaded!) - Mum's daily driver but hardly driven compared to her new car ;-) Great little car, lots of potential for modifications if you are into that. PM me for further enquiries, thanks for looking! PS. Photos coming soon.
  19. Damn that is nice! Love the seats, GL with the sale.
  20. Yeah I saw a car like this in Singapore! Looks very mean though glossy looks the best overall.
