  1. Dammit not another one. Condolences to the family and friends.
  2. Was an interesting day where we somehow missed everything moving on wheels as we spent a bit of time at show and shine. Good to put names to faces and even the Z guys were in the same camp!
  3. Great meeting up with you Garland (I'm the one with the red cap). Took a couple of photos of your car in "photography section".
  4. Last one looks funny, tried this.
  5. My happy snaps: Using Nikon D50, office computer and irfanview to touch up the colours and cropping on a couple (ie. crap).
  6. Nice matty, what camera?
  7. They are everywhere not just here.
  8. Terry, I'm in support of this so keep me in the loop. I've not experienced the "hoon" label before but if it helps the other guys then that's a good thing.
  9. Then you suck! lol I like it, got a mercedes CLK look.
  10. I just did the Melb to Sydney trip and got 615kms to a tank. I think the key is to : - not use boost obviously - stick to a consistent speed if possible (therefore consistent rpm) - carry light (I had over 100kgs of luggage) My tire pressure was probably towards the lower end.
  11. This is interesting, but while 3 hours sounds like a lot, the rate of usage at the lowest idle isn't going to be very much either. My TT is set to 30 seconds and I think my car is thankful for it.
  12. I did a recent Melbourne to Sydney trip just recently in my GTR and managed to get 615km to the tank (filled up 65 litres). I believe it could have gone another 10kms but didn't want to risk not seeing another petrol station for another 36. Driving at mostly 2900rpm and 110km/h. Having never gotten over 500kms before that was pretty amazing. The hard part was watching slower cars overtake me (and doing 130km/h). Compared to my Z the Skyline felt "nervous" at high speed though I think this is probably to do with the stock suspensions and ride height (a bit higher).
  13. I've heard good things about Racepace. Took my car to one of the mentioned workshop above and can't really comment on what they did on my car. My car felt slower, hesitates at certain revs and gives a burble exhaust note I've never had before. It is not better than before and keeps giving me the excuse that my car is old.
  14. Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome! Penrith has some nice loops to try out, time to do some mods
  15. Just where do you guys live??
  16. You can always give him a go at his signature. Nice idea actually, it centres right on R32s only and looking at the forum there's a bit I haven't seen here. Make the site more interesting by adding some contrast and colour (its a bit of an eye strain at the moment). If it helps, I'll be looking out for HOW-TO stuff and tutorials which can be difficult to find on this site but easier to find on yours. GL.
  17. Charles I'm waiting for you to do a full gainer on the whole car, excellent work on the Z.
  18. Sorry but where is this location?
  19. Thanks guys, I don't think I will have a problem with my car then, I will definitely hook up with these workshops.
  20. Very witty signature
  21. Hi folks, Needs a heads up on my dashboard and rear lights not working (headlights and interior lights are working). - Dimmer is not the problem - I've checked the fuses under the bonnet near the battery, according to http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthr...2370&page=2 there is an 10A-TAIL L fuse which I can't find in my R32 - I've looked at this http://usagtr.googlepages.com/R32_fuse_box_eng.pdf to check the TAIL LIGHT FUSE and there is no problem - I've checked the other fuses and they appear to be alright I'm pretty sure that I need to find the 10A-TAIL L fuse to fix the problem but where is it in the R32? Many thanks.
  22. Condolences to their families and friends, I don't know these guys but like everyone here we share the same passion. I'd like to know the full details of this accident when the time comes.
  23. I thought a mate's stage 6 300zx TT was amazing (it was the hardest and most solid car I've ever driven) along came another mate's F40 (who also had a lambo, hummer and SL55 AMG).
  24. iseekool = ICQ? You need to go to thailand for that. And drive down to SG on Sundays In fact I think most of the older Nissans that I saw were from JB or WD.
