  1. My series 1.5 (which has a series 1 body) is White, as is Tim's, Peter's and Alex's, surely it's like the most common colour for series one R33's? most people swap the rear wing for a series 2 or a gtr one though
  2. I would be all over this for a dedicated little track car (so I stop thrashing my poor street r33) if I had space in the yard still... I should knock the neighbours fence down, they probably wouldn't notice. Good luck with the sale mate
  3. Early October sounds like a winner to me, I need to order in some new brake pads and get the rotors machined before I do any other kind of track work, as soon as they start to heat up and I brake heavily it feels like I'm driving over a never ending cattle grate Will have to look into some specific dates for a sneaky practice
  4. I have an r33 with the stock intercooler and oil cooler (and pretty much everything else stock as well..). She's been running well with no issues for ~4 track days now, I'm just trying to take it easy and get the lines right though. My brakes and tyres overheat before anything else though, so It may be different with your set up
  5. Next SAU track day is kind of blended into one of the super sprints on 30th Oct, but I think a small mini tiny sneaky track day may be the go in September? At least I hope so 'cause I can't make the 30th Interested to hear, what aftermarket brakes do you have on there? Oh, and welcome!
  6. Don't make this sexual... man c'mon..
  7. Sneaky sneaky, like a hampster with horsepower
  8. Yeah, I've been looking at it for like 4-5 years. Could never justify the cost before, but since it's a birthday present... pity about they day, looks like I won't be there for the super sprints
  9. Booked it here. There's only a couple of places left in Tassie before the end of the year, one on the 30th of October and three on the 29th of October, you should come along
  10. Why the hell not? Might sneak in some sneaky sneaky practice a few weeks beforehand as well though Which weekend is this? On the 30th the wife has booked me in for a birthday present of a half day rally school experience, which should be _awesome_
  11. Awesome turnout, not sure how many skylines all up but I counted 13 (track) skylines and a heap of random people at one point, but more turned up later on. Turned out it was perfect weather, beautiful day for it. Sorry for your car Tim, that's some screwed up shit right there...
  12. Manual? I thought his excuse for not coming out last time was because it was an auto? I obviously got the wrong end of the stick, which happened to be on the other side of the forest..
  13. Nah it was definitely Tim or I wouldn't have known the car at all In a way it's a pity that it's an auto, but in another way it probably suits the laid back style of the car..
  14. Spotto'd Veeto driving his stag near Kingston. Damn nice looking stagea
  15. I assumed it was standardish until I saw Alex's car, not many skylines getting around with standard offset/rims. I need a set of 20's and some spinners to complete the bogan look I'm starting to get. God damn hair grows into a mullet every second week... Perhaps it's fate and I shouldn't fight it? P.S. This thread is so about me, my hair and my car from now on. Better get used to it
  16. Sunday 14 August Min 4 Max 13 Morning fog. Cloudy. Patches of morning frost in the north. Areas of morning fog. Light winds. Sounds like the perfect day, hopefully no rain but some nice low intake temps for your turbo charging pleasure
  17. The size of my wheels in these pictures scares me a little bit... Awesome day, wish I hadn't tightened my rear sway bar the day before, had no rear end traction at all! That's what you get for assuming it will stop raining I guess
  18. Urgh...it gave me an error 3 times in a row saying it wouldn't save, and now I can't delete. Damn you SAU forums *shakes fist*
  19. Good luck with it mate, just in time for the SAU Tas track day!?
  20. Good luck with it mate, just in time for the SAU Tas track day!?
  21. Good luck with it mate, just in time for the SAU Tas track day!?
  22. Suck it up, I need to practice my rain driving After the hillclimb yesterday my tyres are exactly how they were before I entered, even though they were spinning 90% of the time... that's one hell of a way to save money on tyres
  23. Start time is very different for each person, we had a lot of people turning up ~11am etc, you can turn up whenever you want but you'll just miss a few laps.. There's no competition or queuing or anything like that, so just turn up and have a bash around the track. It's kind of up to you whether you'll have enough time on track to justify the entry fee
  24. I believe it was Dave.TAS ? Looking good, by the way
  25. gahaha, silky smooth at 40kmph is easy mate I was thinking of getting a rug for the back window and a driving hat...
