  1. I remember reading somewhere a guy had made a some reinforcement piece to go around the hole that needs to be cut for the intercooler piping apparently was able to get it engineered and everything so that's a possible but would be a massive hassle
  2. If you want to have as close to legal as possible you will want to go with a return flow cooler
  3. For a late model one in manual and turbo your budget isn't gonna be sufficient at all
  4. HSD's are base height adjustable so you have much more choice on how high the car is. Mate has HSD's in his s15 and he can lower it just with the base height adjustability to like scrape along the ground or be like a monstertruck
  5. Wow how the hell did they pull off doing that much damage to it
  6. I thought tein super streets were base height adjustable?
  7. Oh sorry my computer is hooked up to my TV no need to stream anything no need for 2 things to be on to play one movie although if i wanted to stream media i could easily have done it through the xbox which i simply plugged into my network and setup in about 10 seconds. Dunno what you guys were doing lol
  8. Why i would want any of that on a game console is beyond me maybe you should buy a pc
  9. wow 2000 revs your poor motor is being put under a lot of stress especially if that is going up hills also
  10. What you mean by that? The r34 stock ecu sucks a fat one when it comes to upping the boost it just dumps tons of fuel in the motor
  11. Agreed although looks very much like an aston apart from that ugly front
  12. Hmm I'll probably just live with it and swap the stock suspension back in when i sell the car if it comes down to something like that. It's annoying and sounds nasty but I am going over seas mid next year and don't have that much money to spend on the car before i go overseas and sell it and the car rides very nicely apart form the sound
  13. Looks good if your batman. But for a normal person wtf seriously that interior is a massive put off the outside shots were kind of ok till i saw the back and side shot also
  14. The previous owner bought em for a r33 GTR a fair while back but never installed them so was unsure on the condition. They are ARC coilovers (so hard to find any info on em) but look to be in good nick i have pulled the coilover apart and test the shock and that all seems fine tightened up everything i thought might be lose and it still does it. If the suspension place can't work it out i'll pull them out again and see if i can get to the upper bushes. I'll see what TSR says about mine i was also gonna go to fulcrum but got recommended TSR by a good mate. Hopefully it's something that doesn't require it being rebuilt.
  15. Hey recently put some coilovers in my car they are not new units and didn't pay a lot of money for them so wasn't expecting them to be perfect. The fronts especially the passenger side seems to make a knocking sound when hitting bumps. Have looked at everything and made sure everything is tight really doing my head what could be making the noise. The car is booked in at a suspension joint for a wheel alignment and to get it checked out just wondering what peoples thoughts might be.
  16. Biggest point that makes everyone say alternator is the fact that you were driving it and it still died. If a car is started and the alternator works fine you pretty much don't need a battery there it will run off the alternator
  17. I can't understand why people took anything badly in this thread it's a straightforward question and just cause he posted in relation to r35's here it's easy to see that it's comparable to all cars and i have to say i agree with ghostrun
  18. Ok cool so it could be just the shocks fluid. That's a bit of a relief but will definitely have to check it all out carefully before driving it again just wasn't too sure if what the fluid in the shocks would be like Update: It is leaking a fair bit just sitting there and there isn't any drop in the brake fluid bottle in the engine bay so pretty sure it's the shock
  19. I didn't vote cause you said r33's only but i have a 3.5" catback on my r34 which is pretty quiet much quieter than mates cars when i am driving with them i likey
  20. Nah i don't feel left out i have a turbo
  21. Hey guys woke up this morning and noticed that there was an oily fluid on the wheel a little on brake rotors and a fair bit on the caliper. Is brake fluid able to leak from the brake caliper somehow? I can't seem to find a leak in the brake lines at all? The front shock is wrecked and leaking like mad could it be from this?
  22. Lol I'm thinking of rocking up for first time this week i'll suit up why not
  23. Want a full set of coilovers for r34. Can be used or new but don't really want to spend more than $1500 for them looking more at BC coilovers or HSD something along those lines as they are more within my price range. Pm me or post in here anything you have to offer pm will likely be better as i might lose this topic
  24. aren't stock r34 gtt rims like 17x7 or 7.5 and +40? If that's right a 10mm space should do the job
