No idea on camaro's but i remember having a look at Z06 corvettes just for the fun of it and came in at over 200k without on road costs. The conversion for LHD is a massive killer that's for sure

- 1490 kg (sedan) / 1340 kg (coupe)
That sites figures made me lol. No idea how they think 150kg difference makes sense when the sedan is not really all that much bigger
See I agree completely that there are heaps better products available generally for the same or lower price but the thing with apple products is they do seem to just work as they need to. Except of course when the battery goes to shit or one of many other problems associated with apple shit happens.
This thread doesn't really give a definite answer unfortunately

Are you looking at a aftermarket strut brace that is to suit the GTR and want to get for the GTT? Or wanna use the stock GTR vs GTT? If using the stock one is there much if any improvement over the factory strut brace?
The nissan ECU's would be adaptive. The ECU's retard timing to stop detonation so in theory should be able to put regular unleaded in and it'll just retard the timing enough to stop detonation (hopefully lol) but i wouldnt risk it.
I had an extreme HD organic clutch was very heavy not sure if could of been adjusted held up fairly well but it didn't have to take a lot of power in the old sr20de s13 lol
Is this conversion really worth the money how much you guys spending on these kinds of builds? Just wondering if it's better of for people just going an r34 so that you have better gearbox motor and brakes straight up plus it's definitely legal. Unless of course you have a r32 GTR but why you would do this to a 32 GTR is beyond me
What i have always wondered is are/were r33's more common than r34's in japan? Now days seems like just about every 33 ever made has come to Aus lol but just wondering if the r33 sold the best i guess it did have along production life 93- early 98 althouhg the r34 went from 98-2002? or only 2001?
Yea i think it's a pretty new technique you have to plant the accelerator do a 180 and then use your acceleration to slow yourself down. Not very effective, fuel efficient or safe but yea everyone does it cause it's mr cool
If your gonna get aftermarket rims don't bother going with another set of 16" ones especially on a 34 way to small. I'd recommend keeping your current wheels till your tyres are worn if thats what your keen on. Are the tyres on there some really good brand or just cheapies?
On a 34 i wouldn't go smaller than 17x8+20-25 offset or 17x9+30 offset
True that does suck kind of like the issues we are having over here where every import driver is an ultimate hoon in the eyes of media/public/police. Makes owning these cars harder and harder as a everyday driver which is really unfortunate.
Hey guys i know this is hard to diagnose but got a clunk in my car. When i am in reverse and it is engine braking down a hill (like my driveway) and i put the clutch in it makes kind of clunking noise and thought it might be engine or gearbox mounts. It makes the same sound when driving up hills in 2nd and clutch in quickly to change to the next gear (this is at lower revs like 2500/3000rpm).
Other day changed the oil in the car and while had the car on blocks tried to have a look at the mounts couldn't see anything obviously suspicious but not exactly sure what i should be looking for. The problem doesn't seem to be major as yet but if it could cause bigger issues i would like to get it sorted out. If there's anything else that could possibly cause these noises let me know.
