  1. This is one very good sounding plan. Another option it to hope they don't really care about the extra noise and enjoy the extra power
  2. I must say close to 5l/100km fuel figures would be nice just know my GTT won't even get close i'll be happy if i get around 10/100 although thats what i use to get in my n/a s13 so that is unlikely
  3. I thought the wheel was stock too has it been re-trimmed to be like that or is it cause it is a series 2? Thanks heaps i actually found the DIY section just before and saw how to do the lights with sanding back and all but would prefer not to sand it unless i really need to i'll give the Meguiars ago and steal my mum or sisters hair dryer lol why oh why although i must say the s13 was great fun since i didn't have to care about the car itself but no air con in the current heat was killing me
  4. Actually have a couple of Q's you guys might have answers for. 1. i have that little nissan prince sticker on the back there and its stuck as hell any ways to get it off without damaging paint? 2. My headlights have that yellowing that seems to happen fairly commonly and not sure on what to use to try to bring it up to looking good again. thanks for the nice comments guys
  5. yea i haven't ever actually put my cars up on the net and generally see people cover their plates so figured meh why not haha. And i'm too poor to own photoshop so paint is the way to go haha
  6. Well picked up my r34 today and figured i should say gday here will hopefully be joining in with as many events as i can. Car i got is a just about completely stock manual 2001 r34 GTT skyline. Only thing i know isn't stock is the gearknob which is a bit unfortunate but not a big issue to me. Anyway here are some pics with the cop of a car i have been driving around as well (s13 = non-turbo fail)
  7. I was in the same predicament (including looking at xr6 turbos) and put pretty much exact same post up but on boostcruising about 2 weeks ago. Anyway i have to agree the s15 overall is a sexier looking car but you can make the r34 look really tough instead depends on what style of look your going for. I just recently bought a r34 2001 model and i am happy with it (picked it up today still gotta get photos and such to put on the site and introduce myself) although in all honesty wasn't all that set on buying one just when i checked this car out and negotiated a bit i was able to get a deal that i liked very much. With the interior i'd probably lean to the r34 being slightly better quality but i liked the look of the s15's interior better. When it comes down to the power debate the r34 is definitely gonna be the better option. I guess what really sold me in the end on the 34 is the gearbox is guaranteed to be strong (hell heaps of S series owners that want to put out big power put in a RB25 box or z32 box) and that the motor is much smoother and refined than the sr20 since it is a I6.
  8. if i was to replicate a GTR i would go all the way with the motor and everything but then the cost is just pointless. Best part of the GTR's over the standard are the flared front and rear guards make the car look so much tougher
