tafe is the way to go to get some basic knowledge about how cars actually work ive been doing a tvet coarse through school and it has really tought me alot i found it very rewarding and its abit of fun even though we only pulled apart a corolla motor haha

is the car lowered ?? if its a tire scrub go for a drive, make it scrub and then check on the outside of the guard (lip) where its scrubbing as there should be black rubber dirt if its scrub on the lip then you may have to get it rolled (the lip is rolled straight or as close to straight as possible giving you more clearance) When i lowered mine it would scrub on the rears and front when going over bumps or cornering at over about 30 so i blamed the tire joint and they rolled the guards for free and no more scrub

it cranks but just doesnt fire =/ its not a fuel problem cause i can smell it and hear the pump

hey guys so about a week ago i made a bad mistake, while intalling a new tacho i cut the tacho sensor wire (yellow with red stripe in ecu pin 7 from memory) its the right wire, i cut it and resoldered them adding the green wire off the tacho. i f**ked up and forgot to disconnect the battery and now the car wont start. no fuses have blown ive changed the relay on my alarm over thinking it might of been the alarm but still nothing then i took my battery in to battery world to check if i might of blown up one of the cells or something but still no go i then put the ecu in dianostic mode and its showing error code 21 whick is ignition circuit I have not a clue what to do now ... any ideas ?? i miss my 32

+1 I had the same idea with my 32 stockies and it was near impossible to tape up a perfect circle for a chrome lip so i ended up spraying them completely black.

Hey all, I really want a set of the east bear r32 4 door tail light covers but unfortunately these are hard to come by =/ so i was thinking about having a go at making some out of fibreglass do you think its possible and any tips before i have a go at it ?? the way i see it is it will probs be similar to making eyelids.

ive been told by a mate who has sprayed his vl twice that white is the easiest colour to spray as the imperfections dont show up as bad. He also said that black is hardest as every little imperfection no matter how small looks 10 times worst. but in saying that his no expert on paint, just from his experiences

wow its even had the engine covers switched for a stealthy rb25 look

Carmate has some but most kits are bn or vertex copies ... personally i would get a gtr front, type m skirts and a vertex rear (small lip one, not huge BN looking one)

they will be multi-stud as they dont come in 4x114.3 alone

possibly just non turbos ?? i went and looked at two before i got my 32 and they had ugly wood grain centre console :S oh and they were both autos if it counts for anything ??

When im off my P's im 95% sure ill be selling it to upgrade to a turbo only 2 more years =/

personally r32 4 doors are the only ones i like .... i would much rather coupe tail lights but r33 have weird tail lights and a wood grain looking centre console :S and r34 just look too much like a taxi ... too long ...

your seats wont get as scuffed up from people climbing all over them and you get the sxc 4 door tail lights

non turbos have 4 studs on r32 and r33's

If im not mistaken the r32 coupe had a factory option "skyline" light up panel. Not many around but. I was considering trying this on my r32 4 door but desided its too much effing around and cutting the letters into the actual bar

im not entirely sure how much it is but it isnt over 2000 I rang up and got a quote
