  1. Ok, thanks heaps, time to start sourcing parts
  2. Dont mean to bring up an old thread but figure its better then making a new one ... I have a N/a auto r32 sedan .... looking at doing a manual conversion and was thinking of going a rb30 box as there a hell of a lot cheaper and easier to find then the rb20 box. Also i figure beingg a non turbo i wont too much have to worry about the strength differences between the rb30 and rb20 as i dont see the sluggish rb20de being too powerful for the box haha Anyway, my question is, can i use the rb30 stuff, clutch, slave, master cyl ?? or does it have to be rb20 stuff ?? Could be a stupid question but thought better be safe then sorry! Also, will the N/a sedan auto tailshaft fit ?? or will i need a manual tailshaft ?? Thanks in advanced
  3. I can get my hands on a rb30 kit, I've read the box will fit. Will I need rb20 clutch master etc or will the rb30 ones work ? It's going into a non turbo so I'm not too worried about the rb30 box being weaker then the rb20 counter part

  14. from what i have read its under the aac somewhere on the block. I have a similar problem to you. without aac plugged in it sits nicely at 800rpm. plug it in and it jumps to 1200 .... I am stumped as to what to do next. Can anyone point us in the right direction ?? Also what happens if you run without aac plugged in ?? wontt cold start or will stall at idle or ??
  15. ^ dont quote me on this but i remember reading something similar to your problem and it was a faulty air regulator. Not sure how to check this however.

  21. I have a 32 n/a 4door thats auto and have afew mates that have an auto 33 N/a, a manual 33 N/a and a manual 34 N/a. Performance wise all 4 cars are pretty evenly matched, cant really shake one another in a straight line. However the 32 seems to take corners alot better then the others (although the 32 and auto 33 are the only two with aftermarket suspension) Personally having driven all of them, i would go the 32. All around the 32 felt like a nicer ride. Although its auto and only got the rb20 compared to the rb25 in the 33/34 being so old all the cars are running at pretty much the same pace. Auto is alot better if you do alot of city driving. Plus in theory the 32 would be better on fuel
