  3. Beej Im pretty sure the daughter board is remapable as well pretty sure it's exactly the same not 100% or they use an emulator and nistune software. And toshi sounds awesome budd am very interested car should be done in a few weeks minus my big turbo setup but gonna keep it like that for a little while so will let you kno when car is back from shop and everything done should be in 3 weeks or so.   4. mate im only using the fkn copy plenum cause i got a good deal with it and i dint really want the mani i bought a package that came with a brand new genuine HKS fuel rail & GTR injectors i got all of it for $400 so pretty good considering the HKS fuel rail are that alone so why not use the manifold & shit i will be getting a hypertune or plazmaman later anyway but while i got this here might as well make use of it, i was gonna run a Q45 but i like the billet ones dont want a standard looking throttle body, anyways i got the PNT performance 100mm purple 1 and mate not really worried aqbout price aye as i will buy either the hypertune mani and throttle together or the plazma package Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  5. Too much of a f**k around pulling it apart to get it anodized mate would rather jus buy a aftermarket 1 & I am looking to make a good 600 at the treads eventually so wud rather jus buy 1 now.

  9. im after a aftermarket 1 purely just cause the nice billet ones just look so much neater then an oem throttle, but in saying that im not just after looks either i do want it to perform like it is suppose to.

  11. hey guys am installing my greddy copy mani & HKS fuel rail next week & am on the market for an aftermarket throttle body was wondering wich ones are good value for money and will direct bolt up & can use standard TPS most 1's i have found are either really shit made or dodgy or just look really shit and have to have to much modifications made so if anyone knows who makes a good one can let me know as im interested in buying 1 this week & i wanna try find 1 that i can use my S2 TPS as all 1's i have found u have to use S1 cheers richard. Yer that's what I sed check 5v supply witch is pin 1 and earth And so I was right mine sed. probe the back of harness connector wires 2 been (+) & wires 3 been (-) & check & adjust to 0.45v-0.50v At the TPS on harness side pin 2 and 3 shouldnt it be O.45v to O.50v not 0.40v like you say and isn't it 4.1v at WOT not 5.Ov ?????

  14. want to know how to adjust s2 tps as i have been told it is different to adjusting s1 tps mine has the 2 plug tps with 2 harness connectors plugged in but mine is manual could someone please give some detailed post everything about adjusting and the steps please i know this but need to know if i am correct top plug 1 volts should be 5v 2 is signal 3 is ground bottom plug does not matter too me cause my car is manual or does it ???? should i go get another tps with just the one plug? ok now with multimeter check that your getting 5v supply? probe the back of harness connector wires 2 been (+) & wires 3 been (-) & check & adjust to 0.45v-0.50v ? then check with them in same position that you get somewhere close to 4.00v on WOT with ignition in on position? then do u reset ecu like u have to for old ones? if somebody could just clear all this up for me would be greatly appreciated and also just 1 more thing is it true that you can adjust base timing on s2 without a consult to put it into base timing mode? cause yer i been told that you cant or does the old trick of unplugging the tps work if it does do i just unplugg the top plug? (the only 1 i should have plugged in if its manaul) or can u trip the consult connector thing into thinking its in base timing mode someone please help me with this? RBJ37

Dw I was a little worried by that post too was a big day and it was my bday yesterday when I wrote that so I was a little messy lol but yer I was actually doubting myself there for a little while but na lucky I got through it sweet as ended up leavin it cause I was a little messy last night and finished it off today and yer was really happy with the outcome but yer muchly appreciated with all the help guys always good to have forums like these Cheers RBJ37 (Richard)

Yer well mate I did it myself and she is sweet as now, and yes I know it's two rotations for it to come back up put it back to TDC cams were a fair bit out each way so turned em back to timing marks put belt back on an turned crank by hand to make sure it didn't get court up on something, and yer elite I don't have much experience with twin cams but have built a few 30ets so it's not like i don't have the knowledge there already, was just a little unsure about how the cams line up a I'm use to doing single cam, but thanks everybody for the input she runs mint now can actually get some timing when I turn the cas, I really shoul have more experience with these as I do have a fully built twin cam in my Vlt but I got the motor built and haven't had to touch it yet it's only done 35 thou k's so guess I'll get more with these twin cams as I go along and as I use this as my daily now, but yer she pulls hard right till limiter now without a drama goes hard, thanks elite for the input Now I'm going for a boost yehya

Hmm well after bit of a drive today that the boost wasn't the problems nor do I think it was the coil packs, I decided to pull the cam covers off and put motor back to BTDC and yer pretty sure it's out like 180'C cause neither of the cam pulley marks lined up and I made sure balancer mark was at 0'c on crank cover so yer guess I'll have to put it back so now the only problem I'm running into is when I turn the cam pulleys they don't turn far enough to line up with the markings on the pulleys so what do I do? Obviously they gotta be at the right spot other wise valve timing and everything would be out correct? Any help would be awesome thanks guys hopefully will get this thing going good eventually lol

Yup yup no worrys budd well I had a bit of a fiddle Round today and wound the boost controller right down and it went past 5k so thinking coil packs or yer like u sed the air flow cut in the ecu, still don't get it but feels like it has half the power it should so maybe it has skipped a tooth ahhh thing gives me a head ache lol, if I still can't figure this thing out by then I'll drop down next week when u have a few minutes bro cheers bud

Wouldn't mind bringing it down fir someone to have a look I can't check timing atm either cause my timing light shit it self the other day, thanks so much for the offer but I wouldn't like to be responsible for borrowing your stuff haha if you wouldn't mind if I brang it down and can't find the problem do u think u could do a consult check and such rather then borrow your gear?
